Nice video Lars, interesting product although I am not a fan of double side tape mounting anything. I wonder how long it takes before you have to fix everything with superglue - I suspect that there will be some torque working against the mounting as well as the inevitable heat. Loved the mini tutorial in Node Red. Tak for endnu en god video, håber alt er vel dernede:-)
Normally I would be with you on the tape, but being SwitchBot I suspect they have tested this to the nth degree. Let's see and I will report back :)

Whats sort of blinds are they you have?
They are standard venetian blinds.
Do you use all these seperate apps or do you run everything through Tuya before putting into HA?
In by far the most cases I actually don't use any of them except for Home Assistant. In this cases it was the best way to visually show how to get it going, but then I added them to HA, and the app is never used then. If you were only in the SwitchBot universe, it would work though.
In this specific case HA picks up the Bluetooth directly with no intermediary.
I really don’t understand where the SwitchBot integration shows all your devices. How does it know them? On my system it says there are no devices to configure. Bluetooth integration is working fine.
The blind tilt comes whit *free* solar panels 😄

The light level doesn't really work and often shows the same number all the time. It still charges so this is a minor issue at best.
Yeah, right. I'll see if it charges still, but I doubt I have enough light on that part of the building. Otherwise I'll just charge them manually once every few months.
@@LarsKlintTech I thought so too but given that they are only running twice a day on average it doesn't take much to charge them up. Also it can be done manually if needed and mentioned.
