What is bradycardia? Bradycardia is a slower than normal heart rate. A normal adult resting heart rate is between 60 - 100 beats per minute (bpm). If you have bradycardia, your heart beats fewer than 60 times a minute. Bradycardia (heart rate 40 - 60 bpm) can be normal when you're sleeping.

Dear Doctor.
I have this sinus bradycardia. I am aged 75 have hypertension and Diabetics. Both under control.
My slow HR is due to a tablet Concor 5mg. which is a cardioselective betablocker. HR in the morning is arround 40 - 42 during day time it is around 48- 52 beats/minute. No symptoms.
Recently I reduced Concor 5 to 2.5 mg and increased morning Telmisartan from 20mg to 40 mg. Is it ok.
My diastolic bp is some times as low as 60mm.
