You guys remember when that "one punch" or whatever challenge was a thing? Where you would literally film yourself knocking out a stranger in one punch? I believe that might of been some inspiration here.
The "knockout" game was played mostly by black urban kids.

A lot of people get annoyed by the slow burn of this film midways through, me? i love that its there as it makes the final battle that much more intense!

Not bad for a Scottish Actor........
Hollywood inverting reality once again by showing two white guys playing the knockout game and portraying a black man as the hero who chases after them. Remember when that black woman in Texas hit a white homeless man with her car and he got stuck in the windscreen and instead of calling for help, she just drove home, parked the car in the garage and waited while he died in agony? Then she called friends to help her dispose of his body. She was caught because she was laughing about killing a white guy at a party. They made a movie based on that too. Her character was portrayed by a white woman.
The ending was really disappointing

m. night ShamanLawn does sometimes come out with good movies, this was obviously not one of them. This is a movie, which is a spin off of a bad movie. When you make something, using an original of poor quality, you get even poorer quality, every time. like making a photo copy of a photo copy, it gets worse & worse , the further you get from the original. this movie was a bad idea, it has a few scenes that are kind of cool, but over all, it is a 15-25 out of 100.
You're either wanting to become a "professional" movie critic, are one. Or you just REALLY hate this movie.
You just pulled those numbers out of nowhere. The story WAS original. You said it's a spin off of a bad movie, but it's really a SEQUEL to not one, but two movies. Neither one of them is 'bad' by usual standards, so no one even knows which one you're talking about. You sound like an idiot.
It's not "bad". I like origin stories like Batman begins or Joker. But I agree that it's not as good as Split which wasn't as good as Unbreakable which was a 7.5/10 in my opinion (if, say, The Dark Knight is an 8.5/10). But overall it's a good trilogy.
The truth is he should have kept the focus on either glass's character as earlier movies were too heavy on us understanding the characters, like a character study but glass was trying to do too much and failed at it all. It would have been better to name the movie something else and have it focused on the growth of the two we already explored previously. I donot know how and why shyamanlan decided to play it safe by making it about glass but then took bullshit risks and ruined the characters he made and made us explore and like in the other two movies. The beast just couldn't be a villain. His character just wasn't one capable of it and neither was the overseer a hero because he ignored several crimes and decided to focus only on those he thought were important(ego driven) and didn't even report Kevin's mother for child abuse if he could hear his screams when he touched his mother as she passed by.
