When you realize there are already tons of such screens and flows available in Figma Community. They are only used as a reference; no company will ever depend on AI generated screens and flows. UI/UX is 10% about screens, 90% understanding user behavior, market analysis, business impact etc.
You are clueless about UI/UX. It is much much more than compiling layouts and choosing typography and color schema. Surface level design can be done by a middle schooler. Deep design is how Products that change the world are designed. What AI can do Task or Functional Analysis, as any artificial intelligence is based on syntactical inference rather than semantical. What AI will do qualitative user research which is central to formative iterations? The ideal division of labour between man and machine is that man does the thinking, the semantical analysis while the machine does the organisation of the space and at most syntactical analysis. working in realistic environment of IT company I think it's hard for AI to understand needs of clients and bring up the changes... we humans have a lot shit demands in our head UI/UX is hard to breakout.. it can be a helpful tool for small app design and web application but industry level products its hard to match the business needs...so ui ux designer don't worry

AI is designed in such a way that when some art works are feeded in it, a new art piece is digitally created using the old art piece which was already made by a human itself... AI cannot design something on its own until some artworks are feeded in it. So dont compare an designer with AI, design is a completely different field than other careers.Not everyone can be a great designer it takes hardwork , passion , time and dedication.

I don't think the progress of AI will stop anytime soon, on the rather it is going to increase, those who will not embrace are going to be technologically inferior in the future (nations) and remember we live in a profit driven society not a welfare one. On the other hand AI is also helping develop drugs against cancer, strokes and against other deadly diseases , so I think in the short term it may not have much a positive impact , but in the long term it is good for the humanity as a whole.

I believe Varun has a surface level knowledge on this role as AI cannot establish relational context in the discovery phase of UX, I definitely believe that people will soon be able to make apps from scratch to end by themselves only but UX roles will shift to user regulators or AI manager and as experience founders such as in Star Trek’s program and simulation engineers!
Making websites with dynamic functionality at scale using AI is nowhere near. These websites are like gimmicks to wordpress and wix but never compete against web devs working on apps that solves complex issues

Sam altman has publicly said the dev salary market is going to correct itself - 30k$ for a ios app or few hundred dollar subscription to a giant - as a business the later will be more sensible. Think how shopify took out a really fat chunk of custom ecom development. AI is going to do this to all digital services in upcoming years. Be it design, marketing, development.
Just hearing UI/UX designers shows you don't really know the industry because there isn't such a thing as UX/UI... You either work end to end (research, discovery, delivery) or you're a stage specialist (strategy, research, execution, engineering handoff, prototyping etc) UX / UI is garbage and we should stop using it. All this AI does, is killing the real thought process behind the craft of design. Mastering how to use these tools, will only get you so far until the next wave of tech or tools.

I don't think so. I will take time. AI will generate the user persona, user flow, user experience, UI but the user will behave the way AI has decided 🥴. No one can predict how the user will use and behave while interacting with the product. Its not true guys...i used this ai for my task but it was completely useless...it doesnt generate as per user perspective... it cannot empathize with users...it definitely needs lots of revisions

It's more like an web editor like Wix but on steroids. Yes, it can make my job easier and as a startup maybe I don't have to hire a designer anymore, but a person who is expert at that will always get hired.

Lets look at this from another angle, the more this becomes accessible to people, the more people think this will be a fast quick and easy solution to cut out 'the designer'. here is the reality, yes, this stuff is really really REALLY good, but lets just wait till the 'new designers' run into a problem and don't know what to do. my prices are going up up up to the moon. i'm expecting so much more work within the next 4-6 years because people 'think' they can design

I believe Varun has a surface level knowledge on this role as AI cannot establish relational context in the discovery phase of UX, I definitely believe that people will soon be able to make apps from scratch to end by themselves only but UX roles will shift to user regulators or AI manager and as experience founders such as in Star Trek’s program and simulation engineers!
Well websites will be redundant too since people will just use Ai to search stuff.

Making websites with dynamic functionality at scale using AI is nowhere near. These websites are like gimmicks to wordpress and wix but never compete against web devs working on apps that solves complex issues
Like the other guy said, wait 5 years. Sam altman has publicly said the dev salary market is going to correct itself - 30k$ for a ios app or few hundred dollar subscription to a giant - as a business the later will be more sensible. Think how shopify took out a really fat chunk of custom ecom development. AI is going to do this to all digital services in upcoming years. Be it design, marketing, development.

Just hearing UI/UX designers shows you don't really know the industry because there isn't such a thing as UX/UI...
You either work end to end (research, discovery, delivery) or you're a stage specialist (strategy, research, execution, engineering handoff, prototyping etc)
UX / UI is garbage and we should stop using it. All this AI does, is killing the real thought process behind the craft of design. Mastering how to use these tools, will only get you so far until the next wave of tech or tools.

I don't think so. I will take time. AI will generate the user persona, user flow, user experience, UI but the user will behave the way AI has decided 🥴. No one can predict how the user will use and behave while interacting with the product.
