Final Fantasy VI Kefka Final Battle - Berserker team part 1

  • The whole finale battle fought with a totally uncontrollable team of Gau, Mog, Umaro, and Gogo. There are no cheats or hacks applied to make this fight work, although if you notice the Rage list you'll see Siegfried in there simply because I gave them an all-rages cheat but that doesn't change anything because as you can see the only rages I use are Stray Cat and Rhinox (for cat scratch and Life 3).
    Yeah, I could've used Nightshade but that'd just be cheap. Also, out of interest it seems that Wind Song is the native dance for the first 3 parts of the battle, but Kefka himself is an Earth Blues terrain from what I've found. For the equipment, all 4 have Ribbons and Marvel Shoes on. Gau has: Paladin Shield, Red Cap, Snow Muffler. Mog: Pearl Lance, Force Shield, Red Cap, Snow Muffler. Gogo: Magus Rod, Force Shield, Genji Helmet, Tao Robe.
    If you want to try this yourself, you have to go with only the 4 berserkers because even if you select only them to fight Kefka, everyone else will show up if you lose one in a match whether you select them or not. Basically, if you lose Umaro and he didn't have Life 3 yet, Locke or someone else will show up anyway whether you picked them or not.
    See part 2 of the video for the last tier and Kefka, plus my comments on them.

    I love how Gau is the first character to reach damage cap (not counting Morph Terra) by imitating someone's housepet scratching their owner xD

    I think the smallest team you could do with Umaro is him and someone doing the Rhinox rage. Umaro just gets plowed by all the magic-users in the second part of the battle ;_;

    Honestly you could probably have still won this with a team that's half this level....Hell Gogo could probably solo Rhinox through the whole fight by himself (would take FOREVER tho).

      Yeah, if I wanted to grind it out to a higher level you're almost for sure right.
      Man how did you even find this the video is so old it had to be split into two parts for length limits haha

    It apparently absorbs fire, which would help. The problem is that without the Marvel Shoes he will never regain health, and without the Ribbon he'll be petrified (or something else)... so you're always down to needing more than 2 relics for him. Sucks.

    ALL but Umaro are worth it Umaro still SUCKS at lv 99 but for Mog Dance is NOT worth using at all.

      All true, but you gotta admit Umaro has pretty good value in the Colosseum.

    ugh boring.... this fight is a joke regardless of the setup... if you're at level 50+ it's a snooze fest.
