I'm heterosexual. I find it uncomfortable, listening to Luther, singing love songs, knowing he is singling to a man. I have no problem with him preferring men to women. That's his choice. Luther was without doubt, a talented man. RIP Luther

Luther Vandross was an amazing talented artist. There was no voice like his! His songs had the power to move your soul! “ Every year, every Christmas “, is only one of my favorites!
In fact I don’t think there are any of Luther’s songs that didn’t melt my heart.
He was one of the greatest of all time. So please just leave him alone, his gender is ….and was a man, and that he could sing his heart out. Let him R.I.P. Nothing else matters, or is important at this point.

While his undeniable and incredible talent received all the credit it deserved, so will his immoral lifestyle receive all of God's judgment it deserves. And so will all who engage in or support this lifestyle (Romans 1:18-32). Fact. But I still truly miss his incredible talent.

Luther Vandross is in the same Mausoleum alongside his Nephew Micheal Vandross. Micheal was a member of my NMS music 🎵 group. I was invited with my late husband to the Vandross family reunion back in the day at Mrytle Beach 🏖️. We had a phenomenal time with the Vandross family. They gave me the grey Mohair sweater that Luther wore in one of his music videos. Rest in Peace Luther and Micheal Vandross.

I loved his talent then and I can still lose myself in his songs today. If he hadn’t died too soon, who knows how much further he could have gone. I’m sure he would have given some of these younger artists a run for their money. RIP Luther

Where did you verify the alleged gay information and who cares about his sexual orientation that is between him and God. Let's talk about how talented and amazing his voice range was as an artist. He never got to Luther's level of fame, but he did stay around and on the charts, for the most part. May both of you rest in peace. Also, don't forget about his writing for himself as well as others like Queen Franklin, Dionne Warwicke, The Godmother of Soul, Patti that broke the news after his mother passed, another fabulous voice, Whitney and others. The headline reads something about his wife. He was never married, which is why I am not watching the video. I paused it quickly when it began to play. These clickbait headlines are simply desperate cries for video attention, but I knew better. If you want a Luther Vandross story, highlight his time on Sesame Street or his live stage performances of excellence.

Luther was a talented vocalist that I can attest too. His personal preferences are not my concerns nor my business. I applaud him for his talent, God-given I might add. Im grateful that only God has a heaven or hell to put us in, and not man. Man is so judgemental, not to mention their flaws are many.

Patty Labelle waited till Luther Vandross passed away to confirm that he was gay. She should have kept her mouth shut. If Luther wanted the world to know, then he would have said so. Luther Vandross was a one in a million talent. I enjoyed listening to him sing. It didn't matter to me that he was gay. RIP

Why do his preferences have to be anyone business, just because he had this beautiful voice, that should have been the only thing that matters not his personal life.

Man, will you STOP about his sexual choices and talk about this man’s music that we all miss so much. He was a complete success. Just because you are pro lgtbq+ doesn’t mean we who loved Luther have to listen to your non stop discussion about it.
