    The way you were feeling when you cut late into the night was how I felt watching your video after working a 12-hour shift at the pharmacy. That's not in any way your fault, of course, just the situation I had to deal with. Life goes on. Try again for a better day after some rest.

    I farm in Tennessee. This whole swathing thing is new to me. But it makes sense. I would almost like to try it on out wheat to get it out a week or 2 earlier. Idk maybe that’s not how it works, lol! Rockin Robbie told me to check you out . I’m glad he did!

    Yeah blacking the ground sure helps, our prob was a 6.5” rain in one day but 11” in under 2 weeks drowned out allot of our stuff, half of invigor I’m swathing right now is 50% good 25% drowned and the rest is 2nd flush of red-root/wild oats and wild buckwheat. And yeah our corn and soy is turning silver now since it was -2c last Monday night, 2020 can kiss it!

    Do you ever have any occasional problems over the years with wind scattering the canola up in your part of Alberta? Just asking as the Saskatchewanian farmers roll it on cutting to try prevent it.

    • @Northern_Farmer
      @Northern_Farmer  Před 3 lety +2

      Odd time yea..but usually rolling it is worse...the big winds come and take the whole swath and roll it away..were unrolled will get messed around a bit but its still there

    So does your wife bring dinner out to you when you work so late into the night? I'm not a farmer, but grew up around them, and the field looks pretty good over all. Hind sight is always 100%, so busting your own shoes about not burning is just one of those things. I think all in all you are a very good farmer, very talented and make very good decisions. Congratulations on your nice fields and your farm seems to be a very major success. Always nice seeing you Tyson... Stay safe and good continued farming.

I guess you could always order "door dash" or another delivery food service... Take care... Thanks for your reply.
