Savannah is such a great place. I didn't know about the Fort. You did a great job introducing the fort.I love the parks, Spanish moss hanging from the trees, piano bars with big fireplaces, architecture amazing, hushpuppies and catfish. Thank you for asking us to pay our respect at the cemetery. You mentioned that it was a stop for the Underground Railway but I haven't heard your discussion of that yet. Makes me want to watch "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil" again.

I watched that movie while I was there. I wanted to buy a replica of the statue. But it was so expensive. I thought I would dedicate a whole video on the people and underground railroad. There was a lot to fit it. I didn't even show my cemetery footage. I am putting out Savannah video all June. So a lot more to come.

Very cool place to visit. I did not know that was out there or I probably would have went out and seen it. Love the moat around the fort. I love Civil War battlefields and forts and learning about them so very nice job giving out the history of this fort. There was one not far from Savannah that we went to it was on the coast by a inlet river and most of it was underground in bunkers. Great video!! The lighthouse was a nice little touch.

What a fantastic fort. Hard to believe it is still standing after taking a major hit in the war. What a great thing to see and do. Can you a=imagine what it would have sounded like on the inside of that fort when the cannons were hitting it. We would be amazed seeing that as well.

That is a really cool piece of history. I love that they not only left all the damage from cannon fire, but the place where the cannon ball was still lodged in the wall. But I'll bet there wasn't a Panama hat among them when they were firing those things. lol.

Those trees aren't damaged from storms, they're worn down from wind and salt water. Soon they'll be driftwood. This is quite common in coastal areas, not so much in Colorado 😂
