- my family at porthcawl during low tide, struggle against the wind to get to pier. Then my windy slightly broken garden and some huge waves at Porthcawl after high tide later that night

me and family fighting wind in the afternoon to start, then the damage caused by last nights wind in me garden at 1 min in, crowds at Porthcawl at 1.5 mins in, helicopter at 8 mins, big waves at 10 mins and some huge ones at 12 mins in.
So strong and l felt sad when you show your garden and your fens was broke and l saw a Cordyline in your naighbours garden was fallen. How did it go with your polytunnel? Thank you so much for this powerful documentaition. It,s really brutal! Where we live here in Belfast it was nothing compares...even if it was strong.
thanks for your lovely comment :) fence is a wreck, neighbors had a muddy rubble pile that forced the fence loose at the bottom after the rain, wind did the rest, hes in the army so ill dig it out and stick a few brackets on. As for the polytunnel its seen its fair share of bad weather, small tornado taking it a few gardens over is the reason for all the duct tape :) this time I was prepared, amazing what a few long screws through the frame into the floor and some scafolders netting will do, not a single bit of damage. Apart from the chicken coop falling over crushing a beloved baby tree, I think we were pretty lucky, chickens OK just wet, seen some awful footage of crumbing houses and flooding and we didn't even get a power cut, think all the hills around here shielded us and living on a hill has advantages when it comes too flooding. Shame about whats happened with climate change but the best we can do is prepare and grow our own food as best we can
Me wife and kids in middle at 6min lol it was the safest spot
I couldn't have made it up those steps with the kids, sons coat was like a wind catcher :)
I have been banned for posting on the live stream. Why I dont know I was talking tidy on there . This will most probably be removed to .
I knew those moderators would be trouble, did try to warn him. Well you can be assured that I will not remove any comments, unless the moderators come here looking for trouble and sympathy again :)
@@ladyflibblesworth7282 I can't even comment on there. Yet loads ov pakistan people are taking over the chat . So what's the point of having moderators like that who ban people for being polite to others . Not happy with the way it's been run .
@@sidswift1223 yea all those vicious vulgar knob heads only appeared after someone asked if the channel was moderated. Then the channel owner despite my protest agreed after a few days of abuse going on in the chat for the first time that I had ever seen. Their not there to stop abuse, their there to stop contravercial conversation... I'm a weather and volcano fanatic. Have seen the same thing happen up to 20 or so live streams over the last few years

oh it was a bit ridiculous, actually had a bit of an argument with the channel owner recently. They introduced moderators.. And now the channel and chat goes down because bad weather is a controversial topic. They will claim technical issues but it almost never went down before.
@@ladyflibblesworth7282 putting monitors on there is a good thing I think as some people miss use the chat and spoil it for the rest ov us .
@@sidswift1223 Anyone can say the f word on the streets, but we don't need police officers listening to all our conversations to make sure were not swearing. Not a fan of censorship or moderation to any extent, for any reason. Its never been a good idea. But we live in a country where your free to disagree. I may be a little hurt or offended but I wouldn't call for your messages deletion. I may feel a little threatened by the removal of controversial conversations and diversity of opinion. But I wont call the hurt feelings police today.

I couldn't agree more, but not my channel at all. They stream from the porthcawl weather website, its free for public access so anyone could stream it, I think.....This is why I hate moderation. Censorship has become the ultimate weapon the last few years and we should never tolerate it no matter the reasons.....Arrest for severe crimes, yes, ban from websites for extreme abuse or bullying, yes, but only if the victim asks and provides proof that the person broke the rules. But never censor, it opens too many windows of opportunity for our new communist styled internet. The weather is currently a touchy subject, right alongside David Starkey, China, Earthquakes, volcanoes and all the other non-monetizable content subjects. In a world where it is Illegal to cause offence or cause a panic, its hard to be free with our opinions. That's why I never hold back and say whatever I think is true based on experience and general knowledge. To say what you think people want to hear, to only listen to people who say and think the exact same things that you do, to censor any opposing opinions or beliefs is going to be our doom, I have been certain of this since 911. The first time I ever saw the governments and media all work collectively to erase certain truths and keep us fixated on everything irrelevant. Have been keeping an eye since but the resection started a few new trends and brexit turned everything upsidown. Just goes to show how far the government is willing to go to avoid doing anything based on our best interests. This whole pandemic has seen the government and media rushing to the aid of all the wrong people while focusing mainly on getting migration up as much as possible......during a pandemic :) sorry too much free time to think and write, just a chicken breeder so not a whole lot on my plate, accept all this crap, but yet I always want to know more.
@@ladyflibblesworth7282 who is actually running the sight in the first place ? If who ever it is highers the moderators should get rid of them and put the wrong right. It seems these days we have to bow down to all the foreigners who tryd to take over everything . The innocent are being punished at other people's expense.
@@sidswift1223 oh snap I was just enjoying a nice rant as most people never know what the f I'm on about or why I would even consider thinking that way :) The channel owner is just named NPC1. He and I had a huge argument about moderation after I saw this woman saying in chat how this channel needed moderation, and he just agreed that he would get it sorted soon. Then for weeks the chat filled up with nasty abusive stuff and then we have a group of moderators sitting proudly waiting for any excuse to make people feel unwelcome. The same woman came here to say about how she was sick and trying her best to moderate better.....I deleted her comment, never ever ever done it before but it felt good to give her a taste of her own medicine. No moderation promoting pity party is happening on my channel as long as I have eyes and fingers. But I'm not affiliated in anyway I'm just a chicken breeder with to much free time with a fascination for weather :) And a complete dislike of communist china and all the horrible things they do to condition other nations to fight amongst themselves while our mp's quickly remove some peoples human rights & import migrants on mass into poor areas, while corporations work together to spread hate, increase the cost of living, reduce wages/hours, increase debt and reduce quality of life so were all stressed and irrational so we don't think properly. And all this while the media brain washes and the police give special treatment to some prisoners while bullying others. Just sounds like the perfect ingredients for a lovely bowl of fascist take over soup.
Fascist take over that's a!! ready happening and you know the people who is behind that ..we should we give up our long standing customs.just to please them ..As for China they started all this covid.carp . The ones intrusted to moderate that sight should all.be removed and put a totally new system in place .. Yes you will have cheeky banter.in there between friends .. Hope your feeling ok .
