- The pressure is MOUNTING and everything is on the line. I am looking to catch some giant bass on Chickamauga to take over the lead for FLW TOUR AOY Race. This is Days 1 & 2 of the tournament and Features John Cox, Andrew Upshaw, BLAT and Tom Redington

I'm 100% convinced that Scott's drag setting on his spinning reel is the reason he loses so many... and I think it's because it's so loose that he doesn't get the hook buried on the hookset...

I See You , well yeah it’s his job. We watch his videos we all know this by now. But he has been very consistent the past three years. It’s been unbelievable. At this level it’s very very hard to be consistent when everyone is good. I fish the costa series events and they are hard. Couldn’t even imagine on his level

Scott, Brandon or whoever reads this, I’m not sure if this is of concern but none of your ads played... I understand you all have to make a living so I watch every ad without skipping. When the scroll bar came to the adds it literally went through them without playing. Even left the yellow ad tab on the tracker/time bar.

My wife said that I could NOT tv fish bc your "fit" would be tame in comparison to what I do lol. Was out there for the whole event fishing. Every time we decided to go flipping in the shallows we would run into John Cox. Made us feel like we were fishing in the right spots. Lol. The bite was tough, unless you stayed very shallow. It was a good lake, all the dink’s were almost 2lbs which is decent where I normally fish. We were rooting for you, but glad someone from the SMC crew took the win!

Holy Moly, he still hasn't tightened the drag on that spinning rod setup. You can hear it pulling drag when he sets the hook & intermittently as he reels in.
I know from awful firsthand experience that having your drag even a tick too tight can lose you big fish in a tournament.
If u watch b lat he is always playing with his its set real light and he cranks it up a bit once the fish is on
You notice Scott got back on track when he picked up the spinning rod!

Ya I didn't think they would be taking fish off beds...every fish off its bed there goes a lot of eggs....
It hurts a lot. When the females gone the males come in and just wipe out the bed and these guys do it all the time. They don't care, as long as they get a check.

Hey Scott, when are you coming back to Eufaula Alabama? I have a great idea for a video : teaching beginners to fish. I’ve lived here my whole life and have never been bass fishing. Please come teach me how to bass fish. When I tell people where I’m from they ask me about fishing and I get a crazy look from them when I tell them I don’t do much fishing.
Also Scott what is the name of the open rod you use with the yellow fishing string. I like it alot.

When my mom taught me to fish, and she was awesome, she told me to stay relaxed, have fun, don't let the fish feel the stress. I never understood that until I was older. But then when I found myself so uptight for wanting to catch them, I started relaxing more and I would start catching them. I still don't understand why, but I just know that my Mom had that touch and I am grateful she helped me like she did. Over and over she would say, don't stress the fish with your stress, don't make the fish angry because you're angry, relax, enjoy, and the fish will start to enjoy it with you. ( And " Keep off my fishing spot, or you won't be able to sit down for a week." lol) Her dad, my grandpa Stewart, he taught her, and in his day, he was hard to beat. Course, he didn't fish tournaments like you all do, just personal bets, etc. But he had fun ( too much fun according to grandma) and always came home with some big bass, or whatever he was fishing for. Helped to feed the family of 11!
When you stress out that is when you start making mistakes. Start setting the hook too early, tie your knots too fast, and many other things.
