This is such fun when you are basically bed ridden. It says a lot about your character when you can actively root for the guy you're competing against because you're able to count your own blessings. Class act and a big reason why I keep coming back to watch SMC.
The fact that he literally bounced back from losing a studd and didn't dwell on it shows how strong b-lats mental game is.

Thanks Scott for turning me on to B. Lat! I had gotten out of bass fishing some years ago, until a co-worker started me to tournament fishing as his alternate. True to my form I starred watching every video and reading magazines to get my skills up. One of the first CZcams vids that I watched was your challenge with B. Lat.

Couldn't have happened to a better guy, no one has more passion for the sport than Brian. He's paid his dues and puts in the work, he deserves this win as much (or more) than anyone. And not that we expected anything else, but great sportsmanship on your part Scott (and a lot of points too!). Incidentally, I'm going to be in Sebring next week, if I can swing a couple of free days I'll head down to your dad's shop and try to book a day on Okeechobee with one of his guides.
B-LAT is the happy Gilmore of fishing!! I love it, he gets all fired up and gets the crowd involved. It's exciting and fun to watch. He's great for SMC also.

I have to say this is my favorite video. I've been a sub for a while and absolutely LOVE all the content and the values of Scott. He wears his religion on his sleeve and does everything he can for any and everyone. He has helped a couple of people I know from a small town in SC that I'm sure any other man of his stature wouldnt look at twice. I'm always rooting for Scott in everything he does but to see the passion he has for others (such as B. Latt) is awesome to see. Just started fishing again, after the loss of my dad 12 years ago. Sold our boat, got rid of everything. But just started again the last 6 or 7 weeks ago. A lot of money spending on getting gear again. And want a boat so bad. Nothing like what you guys rip around in. Although I would love one of those. It was my dad and I, dream boat. To be able to buy one of those bass boats. But not cheap at all.
Actually just got home from fishing again. Been like a 7 day streak of hitting the water. Shore fishing.

As always keep on keeping fishing alive, When you were at Bass Pro in Fort Myers, I wanted so bad to meet you but had, had my cataract surgery done, which is a great improvement now. The sugar cane party in Clewiston last weekend but still had a cold, didn't want to infect anyone.
