I’m rolling with Todd on this. Based on y’all (the ladies) still being on a high from the concert, she probably wasn’t even dealing with Todd. He and the guys were probably doing their thing and letting the ladies enjoy themselves. Clearly, Kandi is on something else.
Yea it’s deeper for her and it’s not that serious at all. She felt rejected or not included but more than likely it’s not because of this incident.

This was not DISRESPECT, initially. But her energy put him on defense where he stood his ground. I think it was more about how it looked for Kandi and not what it actually was. And Todd's POV was logical and not emotional.
For me it isn't a big deal but if they had an issue with this previously and she spoke to him about it before then it's a big deal for her.
It’s really just that Kandi left the concert feeling good and wanted Todd’s attention and he missed the signs. Kandi also missed the fact that people already see Todd as her underling and his male ego wasn’t up for the challenge at that moment.

This is exactly why couples with successful marriages will say they put one another’s needs first. If she’s trying to make him feel valued and he’s trying to make her feel valued, there actions will, more often than not, meet the needs of their partner! Had Todd simply walked over or called Kandi and said, hey Babe, I’m enjoying this conversation with the guys and want to ride back with them, you kool?” and had Kandi simply responded to Todd (no matter how he handled it) and said, “babe, I really want to be with you right now” or flirted with him or gave him some sign that she was in need of his validation… instead of treating him like her child who forgot who was boss. This entire situation would have gone a different way. 🤦🏽♀️

No matter how much fun Todd was having he should've moved away from the group and had a conversation in private with his wife either by phone or pulled her to the side and communicated the change. It comes across as if Todd has a bigger issue and uses the little things to go at Kandi, and down play her feelings. I agree with Kandi, it's all about respect. Obviously Kandi has felt that her feelings aren’t always received by Todd, this is a convo that definitely needed to be had. I sent this to my husband so we can have a conversation about it… I feel you Kandi. Our husbands give off a certain energy when they are just “ geeked and happy” we don’t always see that side especially when they are with us. In Todd’s defense, should’ve just been discussed later in privacy of home, betcha he would’ve been more considerate next time.

First let me say that I love you two together! Y’all are truly each other’s perfect match. ❤ My take on it is COMMUNICATION is key. At the point Todd decided he was going to ride in the other sprinter it was on him to effectively communicate his plans to Kandi. And imo the gesture from a distance wasn’t effective communication because clearly Kandi didn’t understand what he was saying. Before getting on the sprinter he could’ve called her cell phone or met halfway between the 2 sprinters just to say hey babe I’m gonna ride back w/ Heath & whoever else. This gives Kandi the opportunity just between the two of them to say I’d prefer if you ride back with me. I think had Kandi gotten that there wouldn’t have been the negative energy. Fast forward to Kandi having to go to the other sprinter where now you have an audience which is going to make it 10 times worse to question what was going on & why he wasn’t riding back with her. And because there’s an audience now ego & embarrassment become a factor because it seems as though he’s being “sonned” in front of their friends by his wife. So now Kandi’s walking away mad back to the other sprinter to send angry text messages because Todd’s ego wouldn’t allow him to step off the sprinter and have a word with his wife. And yes, there was the invite for Kandi to ride on the other sprinter but it was too far gone at that point because now you have hurt feelings involved. I definitely feel where Kandi was coming from and I also don’t think it was an issue for Todd to ride back in the other sprinter BUT it just needed to be properly communicated and that’s half the battle. I’ve been married for 22 years so I get it… Been there, done that.

It doesn't matter if you are with people you consider as friends or how short the ride is , if its a group of people then you should always be by your wife. You are her protector, and she needs to see and feel that. A woman feeling and believing her husband will always protect her is of the most importance
If y’all with friends what is he protecting her from. When u go to a family or friends house for a get together you don’t sit and mingle with people outside your man or husband I think this whole argument is ridiculous if he wanted to keep talking to the person he was holding a conversation with so he rode with them what’s the bid deal. And if she was so concerned about him protecting her then why would she walk off from him in the beginning when they were leaving.

I think Todd was innocent but it went wrong because it seem like you didn't think of your wife until she questioned you. I think Kandi would have been perfectly fine if you would have came to her before just leaving.
