I love this because he isn’t only talking to you, he’s talking to your inner child. For me someone hasn’t done that in years and I instantly melt when I watch this. Right in the feels man
I love your comment! I can definitely relate to what you are saying. Steve sending this message made me want to cry. Blues Clues with Steve has always been my favorite show. When he left it wasn’t the same.
So well said. And couldn't be more true! I cried because of this. I started to tear up and then I *bawled* uncontrollably. Like oh, no, it's coming down!! *wipes eyes* 😅
I had a very rough childhood and there were certain shows I watched to "escape reality". Blues Clues was one of them. I remember just feeling so calm and at peace when I watched Steve and Blue. I was so sad/mad when he just left and we never knew what happened! We never got closure!! But he came back, and he gave us that closure in the purest way he could.
I'm so glad he did this. I'm so glad he didn't forget about us, and I'm glad there's many here that didn't forget about him.
I needed this. I think we all did. Even if we didn't know it.
Thank you, Steve. Thank you. ❤
Couldn't have said it any better. ❤
Made some waterworks watching this…. 😢
@trevorbrune @blackdogbrown I've watched this before but I found it whole looking for the outro song I had stuck in my head. I cried so much I couldn't believe it. The first time I watched it I figured it was because the message is sweet and the memories. This time I realized it's deeper. No one connected to my childhood has ever told me they are proud of me or that I look good right now or keep doing what I'm doing. It's crazy how this person who doesn't know me could trigger these inner traumas I didn't realize still exist. It's so important we encourage our children.
“I never forgot you…ever” I think my heart got stabbed the way my inner child screamed in tears
I still remember when he told us he was leaving and going to college, it was a Saturday morning

In all of my 27 years on this planet, I've never once been told I wasn't forgotten about, except by the man that kept me company growing up and taught me some crucial things about friendships, and how to work things out if there was ever a problem. Steve was that man, and hearing how we weren't forgotten while he was away, makes me wish my other real friends would tell me this, too. I legit teared up after this video.
My grandfather passed away when I was young and I only have maybe 3 or 4 memories of him. Watching Blues Clues in his apartment with him is one of them. Now I’ve graduated college and this really took me back.
As a teenager who grew up with Steve, I cried watching this. I had a difficult childhood, divorces, abuse, mental health problems. I was also very physically ill, but we never figured out why until I was older. Blues Clues was always my favorite show, and as a kid, it temporarily took all that pain away. I used to have problems with a self-h@rm addiction a couple of years ago, and my stepdad being sexually inappropriate towards me. My mom doesn’t see what’s happening. Seeing Steve in this video made me feel like a little kid again. I’m still technically a child, but I felt more…free.

That show defined a generation and a lot of us learned what we know from Steve. He was our first teacher, our first mentor, and most importantly, he was our first friend. That "I never forgot you... ever" hits like a truck in my heart.
MUST. NOT. CRY.
I don't understand why! I was 13 watching this for my little bro. Why does a TV character who never knew me make me wanna bawl by not forgetting me? Help me understand these tears
I was a parent but I'm crying cuz I knew how much he meant to you guys
He never knew me
Man you literally made me cry reading that 😊
Let go, let it out
Man this was the only show I watched as a kid I remember being kicked out of school sitting back watching this show helped me in ways a lot of ppl don’t get I can honestly say for a kid that had a spotted past this show really helped me solve some issues
I always loved Steve as the main guy for Blues Clues, and every time I watch it with my nephew, I’m always surprised by how genuine and kind Steve is. He really is like an older brother.
I'm a 42 year old male. Didn't have alot of TV growing up, but i watched blues clues with all 4 of my girls when they were kids. My youngest had just turned 18 when this was posted. I have personally sat and watched this message with each one, and every time we both ended up in tears. I could have lived the rest of my life and still died a happy man had I never seen this, but the fact that I did has made the lives of at least 5 people better.
🤗❤️
It sure sounds like you did and that’s worth everything.
Thank you so much for sharing, 42 year old male❤
It's the most supportive thing I've heard in years.
Youngest 18, how old is your oldest!!!
Nostalgia 90s 😁🇺🇲
Him talking about him still being our friend hit me hard.
Me too 😭
Why? I don't even remember him talking like that in the show.
@@Anti-HyperLink it was just sad, not seeing a friend in so long.
He left and had us believe he killed him self for years. And then have the nerve to get on live tv and talk about us being friends. Wheres blue at steve. Wheres blue. 😎
@@noahramey9593 he left you 😳
I never even watched the show, but I know how much it meant to a lot of people. And despite never having seen it myself…I cried watching this. I really did.
i never forgot you either, steve. you were the brightest spot in a really dark time in my childhood.
IM 24 AND IM CRYING. WE NEVER FORGOT YOU STEVE.
We kinda aged out at the right time.. before he retired.
💯
@@user-xl1rb5ll4k He's 24, he would have 4 years old when Steve left. Too young to fully remember. The crowd for this is around 26-34
@@mog_3825 Apparently I was watching reruns then because I only Remember Steve until like 2006.
Steve is always been a great part it my life
“It’s enough to make a grown man cry. And that’s ok”
Wish I could feel this 😪
Grown men don’t cry about a man leaving a show. YOU AINT GROWN!
@@SVTJD couldn’t you have kept that to yourself, this is not nice. He didn’t say anything wrong
@@SVTJD show me your credit score.
But not this man! get back in there tear!
2 years later, I come here when I’m having a rough day and Steve helps me.
Hope you're having a good weekend man. God sees you he loves you still.
it hurt hard when he left, everyone cried day and day and never to return back. now he dont have the money or popularity he wouldve had if he wouldve stayed doing the show. ❤ have a blessed day.
“You look great by the way. Whatever you’re doing, it’s working.” I’M SOBBING, STEVE. I’M CRYING.
when he said “I never forgot you, ever” it made me wanna cry for real 😭
I'll cry for you.
Bro I cried
Im still crying after seeing it a second time
For me , it was the “ you know ?” “ I know you know”.
Let's all be real for a sec ... we all cried at least a little
My son loved watching Steve and blue in preschool and now my son will be 27 next month.
Steve we love you for making our childhood amazing.
"society is on the verge of collapse. It's all gone crazy. We are so divided and angry... What can we do? Is there anyone with the power to save us?"
*Steve steps into the light like a goddamn avenger*
[rising violins and trumpets]
Yes lol!
Steve will provide the love, while Shaggy will provide the pain
@@EVP5309 Bully Maguire will try to put some dirt in Steve’s eye also.
Exactly! Lol.. ps I love this comment so much by the way that I had to screen shot it!
