      I pretty much agree with this theory, and even if it turns out to be wrong, it won't take away the bad feeling I've had for a while, which started in Episode 5 and has grown since: I I feel like it's too easy. I felt like Cyn was too easily hacked by Uzi, and this list of Drones infected by the Absolute Solver seems like a big trap to me. I think it's part of Cyn's plan (wouldn't be the first time she's done this to us: in episode two, she tricked Uzi into thinking she couldn't do realistic holograms and she nearly killed the heroine of the series; in episode five, we showed how she tricked everyone in the mansion into thinking she was just a malfunctioning Drone Worker, when in reality it was a Zombie Drone), that this list either never existed, or that it was destroyed (perhaps by Nori) and our heroes are falling headfirst into a trap, probably done to incapacitate Tessa, N, V, and J (because they're the ones who, right now, would give her the most trouble), and Tessa must have probably guessed it, and sent J to her ship so the latter could be near from the planet if things got really bad. Serte, it's only a guess, but it's very likely, and it would be interesting for you to develop this possibility on your side.

    This theory can really be true. Tessa a tear in her suit yet she's breathing just fine. She's spraying her blood everywhere like it doesn't hurt. Also with her being rude to Uzi because she's infected, it's extra suspicious when she says she can look at Uzi when she was hurt. And even towards the end of the episode she's saying my robot about N, like he's her property and when Uzi is losing control she's pulling N into the elevator but since N wasn't going to let go of Uzi, she pulled them both in. Pretty strong for an injured woman who couldn't try to pick up N earlier.
    Like my own theory is that if V is dead and N has to make a choice, Tessa might knock N out and just kill Uzi or kill N with Uzi because she's viewing the drones less than her friends and more of expendable toys to reach her goal. I like to think that if N is taken and leaves Uzi behind, Uzi would try to fix herself with the murder drone parts with possibly Doll's help but she'll have to cover he eye like Doll did. Because every time the solver takes over, it's always the right eye that changes into the symbol.

      The first spacesuits were segmented(especially at the neck) and had oxygen pumped directly to the head, it was only the modern nasa spacesuit (either from the moon landing or the space shuttle missions) that had oxygen pumped throughout the whole body, so it's not entirely unfeasable that the space suit is segmented into body and head parts

    • @proclarushtaonasat
      @proclarushtaonasat Před 8 měsíci +6

      also, tessas isnt in space, per se, just on a planet with toxic athmosphere. so explosive decompression and other outer space problems arent really a factor, so its currently used more as a hazmat suit.

    • @zero69kage
      @zero69kage Před 10 měsíci +66

      Exactly, I've been saying that the singularity is more than likely referring to a black hole for a while now. Everything I've seen in this episode only makes it more likely to be the case. I think Deep Cut likes his technological singularity theory to much.

    • @TheFrostedDev
      @TheFrostedDev Před 10 měsíci +18

      problem is tho, black holes just do not work like that, in any way
      said singularity could mean the centre of a black hole, but if it did, it would require a lot more explaining and lore around it to get it to fit with the rest of the elements of the story and world
      the only other note i have though, is that the [null] voids that the absolute solver generates do look visually similar to a black hole, my only real question would be: what is the purpose of creating a black hole though...

    • @zero69kage
      @zero69kage Před 10 měsíci +18

      @@TheFrostedDev we've seen the Absolute Solver do things that would be considered impossible if you apply real word physics to it. Multiplying knifes and turning an arrow into an organic creature being some of the more egregious examples. I don't think that it would be completely out of its capabilities to just spam matter into a single point until it creates a singularity. The only thing that actually lines up with physics is the fact that these smaller black holes break down very quickly after their created. Black holes are hypothesized to break down over time in to Hocking Radiation. The more mass a black hole has the longer it'll take to break down.
      However, you did just make me think of another possibility. What if it's a literal null space? Instead of creating matter it deleting matter. Doing almost the exact opposite of a black hole. I wonder how the physics of something like that would work?

    • @TheFrostedDev
      @TheFrostedDev Před 10 měsíci +8

      @@zero69kage yh true, my main point with it probably not being a black hole is that it just simply doesn't make sense for any motive for cyn or the solver to do this, narratively there's no gain or incentive yet.
      (also the black holes shown should have much stronger gravity or much smaller event horizons or if they are black holes but that isn't my point)
      it's almost certainly within the capabilities of the absolute solver, i just don't think they are black holes exactly since i feel like they do something different than just have an event horizon and singularity. they either just aren't black holes and they're something different, or they are and something unexplained and significant is afoot here
      ig one other possibility is them being some sort of cover or censor, basically something hiding it from the drones' perspectives possibly
      orrr it's just that I'm over analysing a stylistic choice, but it's more fun theorising

    • @TheFrostedDev
      @TheFrostedDev Před 10 měsíci +3

      @@zero69kage hmm it could also be literally creating a null space, i mean that would sorta explain its appearance and effects, that's definitely a fascinating and plausible possibility
      I'm still wondering about what the solver's end-goals actually are, I'd guess it would be universal control in some way, but why is the solver so constrained atm if it already has the ability to basically transmute matter into whatever it wants?

      Not only that but this is merely a show and I know that they wouldn't cut one of their characters off the 3rd time you have seen them. Or cut them off at all since they have only been seen in 3 episodes. Also this isn't real life they have a absolute solver that can physically create matter.
      One more thing, why would she tell you the air is toxic and then have a cut and everyone knows that they have a cut? They all know and yet they don't care meaning that they physically know it wont kill them as they have some type of air filter.

That atmosphere was breathable before the core collapse, so it must contain oxygen. If Tessa's helmet can filter the toxic substances out, then it could use the cleaned air to replenish what leaves through the hole.
      In the book _The Martian_ by Andy Weir, Mark Watney's spacesuit is punctured. The suit uses stored nitrogen to keep the pressure stable. It's exactly like that.
      ...also, it's possible Tessa isn't wearing a spacesuit at all. Just a helmet. If the pressure's the same, then you only need an air filter or oxygen supply. Also warm clothes.

    I really like this theory. To add onto it, J also revealed that Cyn instructed them to construct the corpse spire this ep. Seeing as the drones killed by the MD's aren't actually disposed of properly via the 'zombie drones' tape instructions, some of them can wake up as zombie drones. Cyn may have sent the MD's to copper-9 to create an army of zombie drones, and is also looking for that list to add absolute solver drones to it.
    Final reveal of the series could be Tessa is Cyn, and right as that happens, zombie drones start waking up in the spire. They fuse to make some eldrich horror, final boss battle begins.

    • @jeremycrenshaw9506

      I do believe the Cyn instructing part but one key issue is that Cyn could just make them all zombie drones as they are alive and they are doing that as some already have the absolute solver. It wouldn't make since for Cyn to do the exact thing that needs to be done and that is killing of all worker drones before they kill more humans since they don't have any cure for this thing.

Either creating a clone of Tessa or, more grimly, reanimating her corpse with cybernetics would potentially allow her to bypass the sentinels. This might also explain why, ultimately, the sentinel that bit her reactivated and continued hunting her despite its orders remaining "destroy AI" on its HUD. The blood freaked it out but upon reactivating concluded she was still AI.

    7:52 I would argue that Tessa is more ominous and cryptic rather than villainous, however, Tessa’s rude behavior to Uzi does seem a bit out of character for someone who genuinely loves drones. Tessa’s rude behavior to Uzi could be explained by the fact that Tessa knows Uzi has the absolute solver and thus, can lose control of herself if the absolute solver decides to use her. Tessa however did learn that Uzi is very important to N, and although she knows at the end of the episode, that the solver has control over Uzi, I do find it strange how Tessa is never seen to be supportive of Uzi or Uzi’s fate before then.

    • @Whitescarff
      @Whitescarff Před 10 měsíci +2

      She is suppose to love drones and yet she doesnt seem to have any form of sympathy for her drones. It maybe that she is either being controlled or has just changed her character in order to adapt to what is going on in her life

    • @NightmaricXD
      @NightmaricXD Před 10 měsíci +2

      I suppose that both options are equally likely to be true. If present-day Tessa is the real Tessa, she would love drones but fail to show sympathy towards them since the Absolute Solver program can be in a drone but stays silent until the drone activates the program. Meaning a drone can die not knowing it had the absolute solver program in them. Tessa would also show less sympathy to N, V & J as she knows that Cyn can be watching her using them, but is unaware that Cyn is no longer the administrator of N & V. However if present-day Tessa was being controlled by the Absolute solver, then that would solve all the oddities in their character, but it begs the question, is the Absolute Solver actively controlling Tessa? There are some scenes where Tessa doesn’t feel like herself, so is Tessa alive but loses control of herself when Cyn takes over, or is Cyn controlling her throughout the entire episode?

If you look at every time a red biometer is by one of the black holes you can start to see that cyn is trying to make her own organic creatures. like when uzi turned an arrow into a sort of fish like creature, when cyn turned some human dollars into some creatures too. or when uzi became her murder drone form she was in a biomater cocoon like a butterfly. so my own theory is that cyn mint have made a biomater humanoid tessa or tessa mint have been infected in a way.

Another reason for is that the sentinels and nori were probably really close, she probably treated them like pets and probably created them. When the sentinels saw uzi they didn't attack or flashed her, maybe because of the collar, and uzi being pretty much a 1 to 1 recreation of nori, so they probably "recognize" her and didn't attack even though their only mission is to eliminate all ai.

    The patch on "Tessa's" right arm might hint that Earth and the two other colonies displayed on the computer have indeed been destroyed. The patch shows a blue planet, probably Earth, and three stars. The planet and two of the three stars are crossed out, possibly being a nod to Earth and two colonies being destroyed.
    In my opinion, this might hint to "Tessa" being controlled by the Solver in some way because it matches the childish and playful demeaner of the Solver. At the same time, it could still be the real Tessa as she was shown to be a bit childish but that's because she was a child at the time.

    this makes sense, and it took me far too long to realize that the bow Tessa wears is extremely similar to, if not the exact same bow Cyn wears

    Let's not forget the amount of times Tessa gave is signs that she's actually Cyn. Coughing, her excuse being the air being toxic WHILE SHE'S IN THE SPACE SUIT, access denied, the silly dino robots attacking her etc.

      Also Tessa being seen with her back turned to the camera in episode 4 but without the spacesuit. If she were truly entirely human I doubt she could survive.
