I salute V for her sacrifice and character growth. I'm really hoping that V survived or got cloned like J and makes a comeback in a future episode.
Me too, it wouldn't be far if they don't J dead a lot and she come back as if nothing happen to her. So why not V?
Yeah I loved how much V has changed and grown to trust Uzi and I feel like her telling Uzi that she trust her will be the factor that may stop Uzi from destroying the world. Also either V has a backup or J goes to rescue V
You’d think so considering she’s a fan favorite and a main character, the clone also does help us cope, knowing she may be back
Yeah Same The evolution of V has improved, means that she’s not really interesting in the episode 1 the Pilot until she was respectful. She is the first to sacrifice herself from her friends, it's incredible!!!💛

It wasn't really mentioned in the video, but the main reason V wore the glasses was because it kept her from getting bootlooped by the sentinels.
So why not equip everyone with something like that? Surely there is a screen protector somewhere.

In episode 5 V needs the glasses to see better, and in episode 6 she asks if she managed to hit the sentinel after throwing the bullet. It's not that the glasses prevent a bootloop but let her see better

That doesn't make much sense:
She is wearing the glasses whilst throwing the bullet, so the only time she's displayed to have bad eyesight (as a murder drone) is when she's wearing the glasses.
(Also, I would not take V from the mansion into account since she's been augmented and changed since then and they could've easily fixed her sight a while ago)
Also, she isn't scared of getting bootlooped during her fight with the sentinels until she loses the glasses, then she suddenly and immediately gets scared of getting bootlooped and starts blocking the sentinels out of her vision with her arm and starts looking away, almost as if those glasses were protecting her from getting bootlooped.

Fun fact: if you turn on the subtitles in the beginning of the episode, the scared drone running from the Sentinels is named "029", if memory serves. This implies she's among the batch of drones being tested on, meaning this incident could have been *waaaaaay* in the past. Not confirmed, but possible.

Yea no way she only got caught after 19 years, either alice, the homicidal drone, only recently became homicidal, or 092 dying was 19 years ago, right when the core collapsed
later in the episode you see Alice chopping off her head so her death mustve been more recent
@leCuttlefish Robots don't decay. It very well could be that out of the massive pile of corpses, Alice only just got to 029. After all, it's clear a LOT of Drones died there, and not only does Alice seem to use the parts for upgrades and repairs, she also prefers Disassembly Drone parts to those of her fellow Workers.
The implication is simple; if the death was recent, how did the Sentinels activate? Why now? It makes way more logical sense to assume the Sentinels were either activated by Nori on her way out, likely to try and make Cyn's life harder, as her prophetic madness shows she knew what the Solver was planning, Cyn herself did it while in Nori to clear a path, only to have Nori yoink control from her at an inopportune time, the humans activated then just before the core collapse, likely right when Nori went rogue as a method of containment, or they were activated as a failsafe from the destruction of the planet. Perhaps even remotely by JC Jenson, but that's less likely.
This was such a good moment for V as moments for her usually relied on N, instead of V herself standing on her own. The fact V explicitly letter-by-letter, says UZI for the first time? God. Liam. Kudos

The only gripe I had about the episode is that Tessa didn't say "Clever Bot." at any point.
I mean there were raptors and she has an Australian accent. The opportunity was there!

At the begging of the episode, J says that they made clones of "useful drones," meaning that they probably have body clones for V, giving a possibility that they could just upload her conciseness into the new body, keeping all her memories and stuff.

If she were to come back in episode 7, it would be at the end since the majority, if not all of the episode would be in the final floors before the burn down the place & escape, or the burning/escaping would take place in episode 8.

Uzi sounding like Cyn is just showing the Solver evermore, slowly corrupting her. Also, the way N and V glare at each other after Uzi tries to use the Solver before mommy-I mean V's sacrifice (I genuinely cried) just shoes how they realise that Absolute Solver poses a bigger threat than they first expected. But also "A HUMAN security system only a HUMAN can get through-*Access Denied*-...maybe"

Also yes the way V and N now both realize just how bad it can get really has be wondering just how much Cyn affected V. The fact that N now desperately wanted V around shows that He doesnt want to kill uzi or at least wants V around so that he can get through it

She is also shown to have a soft spot for N, but states she can easily make another (which is seen in the basement)

A theory I have for the next episode is that we might see N's personality (temporarily) change.
Think about it...he suffered a lot in this episode. Not only did he find out that Uzi is possessed, not only did he find out that the Earth was destroyed but the drone he had a crush on sacrifices herself and (probably) dies in front of him. Everyone has a breaking point and I think N might have just reached his.
I imagine him going from happy and friendly to grieving, to cold, silent, bitter and pissed.
What do you guys think?
I would love that, honestly. I think it would be great to see for his character, considering everything that's been happening. We got to see a glimpse of it when he got frustrated at V in the episode Cabin Fever, for keeping secrets. I honestly think that he's definitely gonna have a more serious and angered tone during episodes 7 and 8.

Guys keep in mind we still have 0 evidence that V is actually dead. She wassnt killed on screen and the episode cut before we saw anything. Theres evidence in the episode that V might come back if she died. the main one being towards the begining J said "Effective drones were cloned more," Which explains why J returned after being destroyed by Uzi. We dont know what glitch has in store for us. So We'll have to wait for episode 7 to confirm it.

Some things I wanna point out are a theory and a something else that is still likely:
First is the theory that Tessa isn’t quite human. This is because she emphasizes that she is human, she mentions the air is toxic yet the sentinel bites a hole in her suit, and the computer shows a picture of her sitting there with it saying [redacted] over her.
Second, it’s likely V isn’t dead for several reasons. She’s the show’s poster character essentially, J mentions that there are clones of the drones, and she could turn into that centipede robot that will try and rebuild her.
The hole in the suit could've been sealed, plus the air would most likely be of a better quality inside. The redacted picture is probably to hide the identity of what would most likely be a high ranking person at the company. While it is still very possible she isn't full human, there's still counters to this evidence so who knows. I would also like to mention that just because she doesn't get boot looped doesn't mean she's a human, as at the end of the episode we see V not get boot looped because of her glasses.

I don’t V’s actually dead, but they are definitely playing it out where it looks like she is, but shes gonna come back in an epic way. Cause to me the sacrifice felt like the end of a chapter in V’s character, not her entire story

I know I was sitting there watching this episode and thinking that the development between N and V from episode 5 was kinda pushed aside for Uzi and N, but this video does help me realize that atleast V’s development from that episode still remains

Vs sacrifice was undeserving and just made me sob so much that I couldn’t tear and sleep correctly. My mental health for the first time actually went down because of a Shows death. It got so much that I made a memorial playlist for V. It was just a character I related to so much
Not gonna lie I shed some tears with that ending scene with V. She's grown so much from the psychotic killer girl she started off as,, and I've got my fingers crossed this isn't the end for her and that we see her again. Curious to see what effects her sacrifice has on N and Uzi, and the group in general. N, V, and Uzi have this interesting, triangular dynamic to them and I'm curious how her loss/sacrifice will effect that, especially if she does come back later down the line.
Honestly would not be surprised if she ends up somehow "taming" the sentinels, it seems like something she'd do. Plus the image of V with her own little robo-raptor squad seems pretty badass to me.
This episode is certainly my favorite by far and has definitely confirmed V as my favorite character.

I loved this new episode and also how the story goes on is only epic. The sacrafice from V at the end of this episodes hits so hard, but still i love this show and hope we may see V again. If not we will never forget her sacrafice for N, Uzi and Tessa.

V’s sacrifice is a legend of the Season.💛 Respect for V🫡😔 The final round (V vs The Velociraptor) was insane, so FIRE but at the end I crying for 2 hours.😔😭 This episode was EMOTIONAL, AWESOME and INTERESTING. I can’t wait for the next episode. When V come back with her friends, Uzi, N and all will be happy to see her again.

I dont exactly believe V will be gone forever and re-introduced in some of the future episodes since as J said, there are clones of the murder drones with basically there memories and what not transferred over to the clones and i feel like Uzi probably also wont die at the end of the series because, well- shes the main character of the entire series but oh well no one really knows except glitch and everyone else working on the series
Fun fact: the Neutral Network creature is called Beau, as Alice calls him that a short while before they both die.
I really enjoyed this episode. It furthers the plot evenly and sets characters like Tessa and Nori in the right ways

I’m just surprised by V supposedly “dying” because they basically killed off the mascot of the show. Yeah she was a good character, but that was most of the blow for me
Let's have some small talk here,
i just used the wayback machine for lookin the fandom about J's status on Nov 1, 2022 as "Deceased (May Return)" which described that she's gonna back as now. Meanwhile V's status on the fandom for now described as "Unknown" which describes something that happened on her where we didn't know until the next episode later.
I remembered being kind of pissed V died. But after seeing your analysis of her death makes me realize a bit more that her death is a bit more a symbolism to her character growth and her realizing what’s happening with Uzi
I do think however, Her death could’ve been better. To me- it feels like (in terms of plot progression) the reasons the writers decided for her to die was to stir up more tension during the climax and finale.
I personally feel like although we saw her getting more attached and empathetic, it was done subtly, which, isn’t a problem until looking back at it her entire character arc kind of felt like it was in the background or like not happening at all.
I feel like it would’ve been nice if we had one more moment with N and V bonding, truly cementing the bond they had as all we really got was a few Side glances from V showing her regret and or compassion.
The episode also didn’t feel like a proper send off for V, of course she doesn’t have to Star it but she didn’t really have much of an iconic moment in the episode until her death. The only moment I can really say was her most iconic was her saving Uzi. Which, don’t get me wrong it’s a good moment, but it’s not the moment that truly cements V for a good Send off. The moment arguably is overshadowed by the robo-baby’s sacrifice or Uzi creating the fleshy blackhole. Of course it was integral to V, now realizing what was happening but it’s not a key moment for V but I think it’s the best moment for V in this episode. V now realizes how integral uzi is. V was integral to the moment and it shouldn’t be changed but I feel like a moment truly needed to Star V, other than her death scene of course. V was always a mysterious character, knowing more than letting on from the start, so we never really gotten to know her because of it. So her ‘dying’ just didn’t seem impactful to me. A moment when we truly get to know the real V was needed. Episode 5 showed us what V may have known but it didn’t progress anything for her character wise. Just one more moment cementing V’s character is I really needed to be more than ‘shocked’ by her supposed ‘death’.
Then again, her death could really not be a death as we didn’t see the body, absolute silver could repair her, and she could have a clone either way. (J)
This show is only 8 episodes and rather fast paced so I can’t be too mad about her death and I am rather content with it. I hope she’s not actually dead. I just personally think her death could be better but again, everything in the world can be better so this is more of a ‘how’d I’d do it’ sort of banter than a proper critique. Rip V
I agree, the only thing that’s bothered me so far is how little N & V’s relationship has developed - or at least the low amount of interactions/communication (like you said, to cement the relationship)
Other than everything being super fast paced, it a really good show overall.
The fast pace can also help the series be more intense.
Although more episodes would definitely help ease everything out, but unfortunately Glitch can’t really do that due to resources and what not.

I’m not too much of a fan of things too fast paced (or too slow) but I can enjoy really fast forms of media. There is bias in that factor that fast content isn’t always my jam (can be but you get the gist) I just wish we had more V and N moments. Not in a shipping way but more of a establishing a visible connection kind of way. You are 100% right with how the fast pace can make things more intense which, it does, effectively so. So 100% with you rn
Episode 6 honestly blew my mind an the trust that V has in uzi shows me from contray they do actually have a bond.
Hot takes incoming, V’s Death was horrible and It wasn’t impactful, and here’s why
1. Drones can be brought back (J is an example) so her death looses meaning.
2. Writing wise, her character development slowed down a bit since episode 3 + Her relationship with N was put in the backseat (except for the ending of episode 5, which really felt like they were setting up N and Vs relationship)
3. She hesitated to kill the sentinels multiple times, so her death feels so forced. (she didn’t shoot when N and Uzi were “texting” with their faces and decided to use her laser ok the elevator cord and no the sentinels.
4. Nuzi. Along with her character development taking a back seat so did her relationship with N, and instead we get a lot of Nuzi moments. Had these moments been focused on N and V it would make her death and N’s pleads much more impactful.
**In my humble opinion.**
I could go on more but I dont wanna make too many people mad. No im not a hater, I love this show but this episode just made me sad for all the wrong reasons.
Finally someone who agrees with me! I could STAND the comments being petty about hee even IF hee death was impactful and meaningful to the plot.
I honestly agree with the points you are making. While I still cried at V's death it didn't feel that impactful knowing that she can be brought back.
I really enjoyed how they characterized Tessa this episode: instead of being outwardly bigoted towards the drones or overly loving she’s almost like the equivalent of a slave master who’s lived with sand slaves all her life. She clearly cares for them on some level but still treats them somewhat dismissively and her flaunting the fact that she’s a human throughout the episode could be a result of her being told humans were inherently superior to drones all her life. It’s also kind of implied that aside from the drones she grew up with Tessa doesn’t really have much interest in any other drones. She clearly doesn’t see Uzi as anything more than a potential threat and doesn’t even entertain the idea of helping the infected drones in any way
the thing is, V, J or N being sacked isn't as big of a deal because they might be able to come back cloned, but if Uzi sacrifices herself... I don't think we're gonna get her back. Or any of the worker drones. They won't come back.
V is my favourite character because she had the most character development and personality, this episode adds to that but sadly probably kills her off. RIP queen

I feel like someone should correct parts of Dronecut's recap: the Disassembly Drones were given an mission by Cyn (who seems to have taken over CJ Johnson) to investigate the hidden underground lab after clearing all nearby life and making their spire (which is what that mountain of bodies surrounding the ship N, V and J came in got to be), Tessa wasn't supposed to be on the planet at all. That's why there's a bunch of DD corpses in the lobby. Course this also means that almost all of Copper-9 drones communities aside from Uzi have already been wiped out
I am hoping that V does not die. If she gets cloned, the New V will not have all the character development Our V has gone through.
I find the similarities between the Sentinels head and Uzi's Absolute Solver form's tail to be very interesting. Those raptors were designed to be Drone killers, and it looks like Uzi has one of their heads on her tail. Does that make Uzi a predator?

i hate to say it, but i think the cable snapping for the elevator was symbolizing V's neck being bitten off by the sentinel that jumped her last second.
Okay ill be honest they wouldn't kill off V especially offcamera, honestly she could return but as what? She could return as an eldritch monster but tbh anything is better than permanent death.

To me, my theory is V was the same V we saw in the manor. But she hid that version of herself and pretended to be a murderous monster, she did kill drones yes but still maybe in her eyes she killed these drones to stop the absolute solver from spreading as we see in the fight scene in episode 4, V remembers cyn, so she already knew about earths destruction. When she was sent by cyn she played along with the murdering the worker drones because her plan was to stop cyn from infecting the drones but in the end she didn’t know about the zombie drones and the different camps that the absolute solver was studied at, you could also say she was killing them to survive with N. But deep down she cared about him. We see her fear about N and Uzi falling for each other and how this may cause N to figure out the truth or could get put in harms way by Uzi having the absolute solver. Hence why she wanted to kill Uzi. The saddest part is when N and V tell Uzi to not use the absolute solver, V looks at N realizing he found out about earth and what happend. So she ends up revealing her true colors and sacrifices herself for N and trust Uzi and gives her time before she my come to her demise before she gets destroyed by the sentinels.
7:43 I'm pretty sure the reason they stared at each other is because they both were wondering how the other knew that something would happen to Uzi if she used her AbsoluteSolver powers. N knew because of what Tessa told him, and V knew because she witnessed Uzi get taken over by Cyn for a few seconds when they were being examined or whatever by Alice.
I have a feeling Glitch tends to take fan service into consideration. Seeing how V’s death may cause backlash, they decided to leave an open window with J’s line earlier in the episode “Effective drones were **cloned** more” as in the V we saw may not have been the real deal, much like how J in episode 1 and 2 turned out to be a fake clone. That way Liam Vickers has an out just in case the backlash is too immense. And judging by a lot of the reaction, I feel like Liam is gonna have his hand forced on this one
Let this episode go down in history as the quick essential episode where the fans started getting so mad at GLITCH.
My frustration with the episode was that so many important character moments happen to off-screen it's frustrating that we don't know exactly what Tessa was showing her told that made V want to do this. It makes it feel like it wasn't an earned moment.
I doubt Uzi will die, but who knows. I will say, wouldn't the cure be easy? Just remove the bad code from Uzi. But I'm not a JCJenson technician, a writer of the show, or even a coder, so maybe I just don't know something. Honestly, at this point the show could really go anywhere. I wouldn't be surprised if they leave us on a cliffhanger in episode 8 & announce it continues in a season 2.

Honestly, until it's confirmed in the show, I believe we should take that ending with a grain of salt when it comes to V's fate. It's still technically unknown whether or not she's going to get killed. The episode ended just before we saw the Sentinels attacking her.
Let's not also forget J could still possibly save her. I mean, I don't think it was a coincidence that Liam had her stay behind in the episode. It seems way too fishy that she was just there to "mind Tessa's ship."
Sure, it's possible they'll go through with it and she'll tragically perish, but if there's one thing I've learned about cliffhangers in shows is that you can't take them at face value. Just like the last episode 's ending where fans thought the next episode would open with a huge fight scene between the heroes and Tessa's group, it instead showed them teaming up. Well, mostly teaming up anyway.
All I'm saying is, let's not make any assumptions until we get more information. Honestly, I really hope they don't go through with it because I like V too much to see her gone. She's the best character on the show IMHO.
Yeah that stung. Usually i wouldn't even blink at a scene like that, but:
1) V is my favorite flying giggling vampiric murderblender.
2) Liam Vickers seems to enjoy undermining the established storytelling conventions, so i really wonder if he thinks "plot armor" should be a thing.
V is not the type to go down without a fight, we will definetly see her again in a future episode or the next season.

I do hope V comes back even if it's just a copy that doesn't have the memories of the V that was presumably killed in episode 6 possibly in the form of some copy of V's personality being backed up in some Database I mean Tessa made them so she could have made backups of her favorite Drones so that if their bodies got destroyed she could bring them back

Based on hos ive observed so far.. In the previous episodes Tessa didnt really care much about V, and in ep 6 she says to N that she and him will save her given how N cares for V and tessa seeing them as "pets" but I dont really think she could get cloned.. Since J said that the effective murder drones would get cloned, we dont know how many clones V already has or not have any clones at all. I also didnt see tessa showing any hint of affection or favor on V

V went from character who i thought should have died in the first episode to someone who i cried about when they did die.
I honestly doubt she actually dies because it would have shown like R.I.P V thing when the credits rolled and why would she die? She is like one of the most favored people in murder drones

Tbh id actually be satisfied if this is it for our V, its the perfect end point for her character arc...
And even if there is more V clones they might not be our V.
Heres how i understand Vs character arc:
Throughout "Pilot" and most of "Heartbeat' V has been blissfully ignorant, knowing that things are not right but instead of doing something about it she closes herself of and just goes with the flow to distract herself, from her inner turmoil.
This behavior was selfish and played a part in turning N into the anxious mess we saw in ep1, she knew this wasnt good for any of them but was to afraid of confronting her own demons to do anything about it, resigning herself to just do her job.
But when the status quo is shatterred and N slowly starts recovering his memorys and sense of self, She also starts rediscovering her past kindness through the shire goodness of N, her friendship with Lizzy and her begrudging respect for Uzi.
Despite all this she knows that she can never return to the way things where, or the way she was...
Shes too different, the situation is too different, going back to the status que is no longer an option and she knows that even if they where to go back to "blissfull ignorance", theyd just be miserable again, so she goes along with Uzis plan for the sake of N.
Then she witnesses N and Uzi slowly fall for one another and begrudgingly she is happy for them...
Even if it means that she cant be with N. At this point her personal happyness isnt so important to her if he is happy, for his sake she even accepts the risk of the possible threat that Uzi poses.
In "Home" she is forced to confront her trauma, reliving the events that ruined her simple happy life in the first place, but this time things are different because of Uzis intervention.
Thus V starts to respect Uzi for what she did for her and more importantly for N (even if they still argue and bikor with one another).
So when they reach a "Dead End" and everything seems lost she does the only thing that can preserve her friends, through a final act of self sacrifice, kindness and trust she trades her own life for that of her loved ones, trusting Uzi, someone she once hated, with everything she loves...
In her final moments she became the kind V from back in the day once again.
In her final moments V was a Hero.
Of course this is only my interpretation of Vs character arc, i could be completely off here and she could be back next episode, i just think that this would be a fitting and beutifull end for her.
V sacrifice took me by surprise but something bothered me about it and I found it to be unlikely that she was actually dead. I ended up making my own theory video covering it. I'm sure you yourself will cover the topic as anything murder drones implies but doesn't actually show is usually untrue. My video will mostly be unseen given CZcams's algorithm. So if you want to use anything from it feel free as a theory video is only a theory until the question is answered. meaning it will lose all relevance when episode seven comes out.

The (most likely temporary) loss of V is indeed a tragic one, but is required for the show to go on because... Plot!
Of course, I am very sorry that V sacrificed herself to save Tessa, N and Uzi, I hope that she survived and destroyed these teranids who ate other worker drones, because as we can remember from episode 5 or even 4, Sin is the administrator of N and V and so far she has blocked "Absolute Solver" and seeing that V was in a terrible situation, Sin can give access to "Absolute Solver" to save V, because the authors cannot just take and cross out one of the main characters of the series, if this happened, then the plot of the series simply shifted into a mess in which can not understand anything.

I think i have the events about the serie's event:
Cyn was destroyed after she killed all the humans in Tessa's mansion, but before being dismalted she uplouded her conciusness onto JCJenson's software and became a virus that we know as the Absolute Solver that could infect drone and turn them into killing machines, with N, V, and J being her first victims. Eventually Cyn made her wade to Copper-9 and began infecting the drones there, but the humans in Copper-9 found out about what Cyn had done and to took precautions to prevent another massacer, that being turning a training camp into a slaughter in which infected drones such as Nori were disposed of, but Cyn realized this and made Nori blow up Copper-9's core to kill all the humans there. That was propaply because Cyn is a Zombie Drone, and Zombie Drones need oil to stay alive, and without a body, she now kept herself alive through the drones she infected, by making them consume oil and overheating them if they didn't
It didn't seem like the infected were being disposed of as Nori is happily showing off her powers in front of a human and clearly wasn't disposed of.
Also if Cyn was destroyed it would've been mentioned. Tessa herself said that Cyn sent the Murder Drones and her to Copper-9 before disappearing, so she obviously wasn't destroyed.

From my understanding, the learning of Cyn's actions is what inspired the research to begin with, that's what Tessa made it seem like, cuz they wanted to find a way to control that power.@@juliangandara9552

No, I am fairly certain what made V trust Uzi is because Uzi saved V despite her absolute solver going nuts. The sentinels were about to kill V, when all of sudden a singularity appears and kills the sentinels, and Uzi's faceplate is smoking behind her healing, implying she saved V. In that moment you can see V processing this while she looks toward Uzi. This is literally the moment you can see V changes and is now actually concerned about Uzi which is what leads her to seem mad about what Tessa may have said to N.
Honestly, I have no idea where you got some of the things you are saying about V in this. It all seems made up and out of nowhere.

I do believe N will start to be a bit off from this seeing how he likes V and they were extremely close before becoming murder drones, then they remembered the past episode, I think this will make N feel off about Uzi knowing what she is and how V sacrificed herself for her, when V comes back I can imagine N showing his liking for her real quick

Hmmm I mean Im pretty neutral when it comes to ships but like I feel like this episode is trying to ease in N x Uzi but then again there was the part where V blushes because of N so I would say both ships have been given stuff
Uzi’s slow descent to becoming Cyn due to her powers is reminiscent of King Ice’s tragedy. She will definitely have to utilize her absolute solver at least a few more times in the next episodes and with each instance she gets closer and closer to the end of no return, just to protect N and Tessa. This parallels with Simon Petrikov having to use the Ice Crown to protect Marceline, to the detriment of his own sanity. Just something cool I’ve seen.

I just finished it and it honestly made me cry at the end 😭
My reasoning for why J looks confused when Tessa tells her to guard the ship, is because in the last episode, she has already locked it. Unless the worker drones are the ones trying to get in, there's not many people to protect the ship from.
