I actually have met and worked with Levi long before I heard of Joshua. I've heard him speak, play the drums, sing and pray. To this day, he is a symbol to me of how beautiful every person inherently is. I can vouch for every single word Joshua says in this poem.
Joshua Bennett is truly an angel. Words find meaning when he speaks them. I have followed him for years and will continue to support his career. This guy... poetry will never be the same, thanks to him, Carvens, Alysia, Jasmine, and Miles. Thank you Strivers Row for continuing to share their talents with the world.
This poem has always been a favorite of mine for years because of how much it resonated with me, even though at the time I had no idea why. Now years later I have been diagnosed as autistic, and I am so lucky to have this poem. Thank you for a beautiful piece of art that taught me that my brain is beautiful. It’s complex, it’s hard to understand, but that’s what makes me so interesting! Thank you for being there for me when the diagnosis felt like a target. There’s not enough words to describe my gratitude.
The ability to put those words into such a poem and deliver them to move people they way you do is such a gift from God. The feelings that you are speaking and insights you are sharing are a different gift, to God, and to all of us. Thank you.
every sentence a Staccato hymn sung in the mist of a world who has forgotten how to value silence when did the brain become an appliance.. Wow that got me
I am going to watch the video again so I can have the lyrics. It is truly amazing how his words can make the entire world come to life in such a way I've never seen before. This gorgeous man truly has a wonderful God given talent for spoken words!
