I was a huge fan of miles when I started writing in middle school, now I’m 25 listening to this again and it had a whole new meaning
Here again. Feeling hollow no longer feels empty.
2024
2024 and I still come back to this ❤
This is still magic. Its 2 am and I am showing this to my boyfriend during a conversation about life, love and death. And its beautiful
Always incredible.
I am at the edge of myself…I’ve run laps around this body…the world cries…wait for me ❤😢😘
Still come back to this performance after almost 12 years 🥹❤️
I play this probably once, maybe twice a year if I’m lucky. This piece is second to none in my humble opinion.
❤ Person in the audience with an apostrophe in their name: 👁️👄👁️
Still so beautiful
Aged beautifully…
I ❤❤❤ this live so much, been listening to it for years
2024 and still as profound as the first time. Thank you.
Best spoken word piece ever 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Words made Poetry with meaning and feeling, love from UK
I remember adoring this piece during heartbreak in my teens, so beautiful ❤
To this day this one right here is one my favorites of all time.
still love this.
You truly a great rapper when poets even praise you. Drake could never!
This poem has nothing to do with my type of grief and loss .. But the line “find God in the darkness”

2024
10 years ago wow!!! I listen to this poem every Mother’s Day
I discovered this poem sometime around 2015… I remember repeating this poem just to help me cope with a heartbreak I was dealing with 2 years in… It’s 2024, and I’m still dealing with it. Even after many relationships…. And this poem really stood the test of time. True art will never get old, and true love really is forever. Even if they’re not around. 💔❤️🩹❤️

Soulmate of mine
Realizing the pressure I put on Harlem because Zora Howard exists has been something me and my inner child have real trouble reconciling
liked/shared
“That’s so hot… nobody ever said that to me”…….. SAME… hopefully someday someone will say that to me! ❤ only then I’ll believe it! 💖!
2024 and im still leaving a comment. another milestone of a loyalty
Years later and I still get chills from this one...wooh
2024
Still the most powerful poem I've ever listened to
The number of times I’ve run this back? Wow.
❤
2024?❤❤
💜
I always come back time to time, this video has been w me during the good and bad
2024......4/2......still HERE
Listened to the poem for 12+ years and today I finally felt the words in my life.I’ll miss that lady and love her forever 🥹💔
Me and my mother don’t speak much these days but this always makes me remember what she sacrificed to bring me here. Makes me remember when we were more correspondent. I miss those days
This is still bringing me to tears all these years later
This angers me…. But then. I guess it’s my cross to bear and dissect and digest.
Beautiful
Listening to this years later after my sister passed from gun violence, just walking out the gas station tryna buy a bag of chips. It truly is a different experience of listening now.
I don't know how many times I've returned to this performance over the years. Still so moving and powerful. Bless
I’m going to Paris for the first time this week so I had to come back to this beautiful piece
2024 and still here ... 🎉 Such a good poem
checkin in 2024 ❤
