- LSU is known as "DBU" because they have produced so many big time players at those positions, and Kevin Toliver was expected to be the next great one. He had a crazy college career and did not live up to the complete hype and in today's video I want to talk about his story and journey, enjoy!

You owe this guy nothing but with this type of journalism I’m sure if he sees it, he’d appreciate it. You are a great journalist to minimize his flaws and to not also popularize his strengths. The thought process in itself to have an article of this degree is immaculate. I pray for your success also Scott.
I'm still rooting for him. I hope he finds happiness period.
Colts bout to make good use of him
I remember and seeing him in practice and was fantastic but during lives games it wouldn't transfer. I watched him close at his first Chicago Bears rookie camp and he was amazing but the same thing happened in his live games as a pro.
Congrats on 100k Scott
Who is another prodigy or recruit i could cover next?
Trent Richardson Bama
Cecil Collins, phenomenal LSU RB
soso jamabo, one of the best rbs to ever play in texas
just wanted to say that your videos are awesome
Great video 💯
I'd love to see a vid on Atlanta Falcons RB Tyler Allgeier. Went from pushing shopping carts to make money for rent as a walk-on, to a super productive NFL rookie season
I have a thumbnail made for him, i may do that this week
That’s fire! Had no idea, he runs with an Arian Foster-esque passion and competitiveness. Love and respect his game! Would love to hear a breakdown on him. I’m a VA kid for life, went to the same HS as Allen Iverson and got to see HS Micheal Vick & Ronald Curry play went I was in elementary school.
Use to play basketball with Tyrod Taylor in random pickup games.
I love the stories about players who make it in any capacity, I know from certain experience on the media end, that all of it is a blessing to be a part of and experience in real time. I got to interview the late great Marty Schottenheimer after a championship win in the UFL. He was so respectful, clearly truly joyous about the victory and humble considering he won at the highest of levels.
What are your thoughts on Toliver?
He got suspended one game and Greedy Williams took his spot
I was just in Dallas for work and all the XFL teams stayed in hotels in Arlington including two teams in my hotel. He looks like I saw him walking in the lobby. I'm rooting for the young man. I ran in my hometown back to back natty chip AJ McCarron...he's a QB for one of the teams
I started at trinity the year after he left and I saw him the year before. I was always a special guy. He wasn't just good but he was a good guy too. When he found out one of the guys was stealing out of lockers. The coach was going to talk to the kid but Kevin decided to handle it himself, informing his teammate that he was off the team. The the theif attacked him, which didn't work out for him. Loved watching him play
You've got to do a story about Ron Powlus the most hyped pre internet recruit ever. He was supposed to be a three year Heisman winner at Notre Dame, but lost his starting position as a senior.
Do a video on Cecil (The diesel) Collins. RB at Lsu in the mid90s. His senior year in high school Over 3000 yards and 42 touchdowns
He went to high school in Leesville down the street from me and that dude was a grown ass man in high school and still hold state records
You could argue he was top 5 ever at LSU
As an LSU fan tolliver career was a disappointment considering how much hype he had. The attitude off the field didn’t help for sure but also was a bit inconsistent on the field. Not creating turnovers didn’t help either like you said. Hope he does do well in the XFL though
I played pop Warner with him at sweet water he was my guy his dad a real one too
Duvalllllllll
He’s still a legend here in Duval.
He was all hype right here in Jacksonville and …… tht school produces a lot of hype talent tht don’t do nthn
He wasn't as athletic as expected and had no ball skills. Dude loved LSU though. I think he committed as a sophomore and stayed committed the entire time. Like somebody else said, I think he would have been better moving to safety. That's what LSU does now, they move guys around to see where they best fit.
It's different when the lights come on like IRON MIKE SAYS EVERYBODY EATING POP CORN DRINKING BEER WATCHING YOU ITS DIFFER
Bears legend
Stars ain't nuthin' ⭐⭐⭐s. Recruiting don't mean jack.
A player has to prove and improve themselves at EVERY level.
Reputation/hype does not equal results.
tyrann matthieu played at lsu too
I'm a fan, but it just seems like this guy has other stuff going on in his life besides football and he can't separate them. When you are on the field, you can only do football.
Do Ty Isaac he was a former 5 star that disappeared
1:50 this is my high school
LSU 2019 team is the greatest football team of all time am I correct?
Right behind the 01 hurricanes
No
Heck no! Miami hurricanes were wayyy better wayyyy more swag wayyyy more dominating wins vs top opponents. 2019 lsu barely beat Alabama
Yes
2008 Florida gators were absolutely insane. I think 2019 LSU is behind the gators.
Noise at 6:31?🤨
FSU is DBU. Jalen Ramsey, Derwin James, Asante Samuel Jr. Ronald Darby, PJ Williams
😂😂😂😂😂

Leroy butler, Terrell Buckley, Antonio cromartie, Patrick Robinson, Xavier Rhodes, Bryant mcfadden, samari rolle
University of Washington had nine or ten db in NFL last year
i forgot to mention most wins ever against top ten opp.
I remember senior year on Twitter I called out Kevin toliver & Torrance gibson out for being overrrsted. I, the unheralded kid had no idea what I was talking about apparently lmao. Even as kids you could see they didn’t have dog in them.
Washington had ten db in the NFL last year
Unfortunately a lot of players see those stars beside there name and you’ll see a huge drop off in production after there junior year.
I think he went to the wrong school but he still has a shot
What happened to terrence Toliver?
Really, he was just a average player on the field. He was heavily over ranked coming out of high school. He prob shoulda did what Malcom Jenkins and the Honey Bagger did, moved to safety right out of college
Heck yes your right. GEAUX TIGERS TIGER BAIT
i blame the coaches, they claim the player had no accountability and thats because none of the coaches held their players accountable.
Sometimes the stars as in his case 5 star isn't deserved.
Yeah these highlights aren't flattering I don't see a player that jumps off the screen to me. That's what a 5star player does he flashes. He's pretty good at wild cat other than that maybe a 3 star at best
Miami is😤
Alabama is def DBU. From 1st round picks or actual NFL production (All Pro). Humphrey, Eddie Jackson, Minkah, Diggs, Surtain
He was slow . Real slow for SEC and NFL
