    Thank you for this video I see in the instructions it's very important to make sure that that cable is adjusted properly and to see that you took the feral out of the shifter on the transmission and then put it all the way up into the park position and put the barrel in the check to see if it had played I think that's the critical area of where we make mistakes.

    Does not adjust correctly with 700r4. Followed instructions and rechecked. If you adjust on low, swivel doesn’t go in in Park. If you adjust in Park, swivel doesn’t slide in in Low. If you adjust in neutral same thing. Threw that garbage shifter in a lake.

    Why does video show a downward slope of cable when braket mounts off pan bolts and is located by edge of pan thus malking is straight? THis cause a binding action when moved to the upward park position which is a short radia.

    I have your C4 cable 8ft. Approximately ten years old started having shift problems. For example started by when shifting 1st thru third the third required to shift twice. Made son adjustments and all went back to normal. Now the problem has returned. Long story short I feel like the cable has stretched. Now when I adjust for 1st gear position. Then move to park the nipple doesn't alien requiring min of 2 to three turns. So my park will not engage and it's in reverse.on or it won't go to 1st gear. Or requires multiple shifts to engage gears. I'm assuming I need to replace the cable?

    Are all B&M shifters tough to get through the gears? I have a new megashifter on my 2nd gen Camaro, with th350, installed and routed cable as per instructions but really have to force the shifter around and it often jumps over a gear or doesn't make it far enough, i.e. you think it's gone from park to reverse but it's revving in neutral as it skipped slightly past reverse.

    • @BMRacingPerformance
      @BMRacingPerformance  Před 5 lety +2

      Regardless of shifter or transmission, you should not have to force your B&M shifter from gear to gear. It sounds like it's a simple adjustment issue. Try to disconnect the cable from the shifter, row through the gears and see if it still acts up. If that does not work then you should perform the adjustment procedure over and pay close attention to the fine details (ensure that all blocker pins are removed, cable bracket is correctly installed onto the correct trans pan holes and performing adjustment in the correct GM gear). We also have a Support Team available Monday through Friday by calling 707-544-4761 that can assist with troubleshooting the issue.
