I wish they had this out in about 2005 when I prefabbed a bunch of curved panels to replicate waves or whatever it was they had in mind for a burger joint in Virginia Beach. I had to do this with 1 5/8 studs then pre hang them before lifting and setting elevation the hard way. This would have cut the time in half easy! This would be a hot item for custom home builds!!

UNION CARPENTERS ALL THE WAY. FUNNY HOW THIS ALL STARTED - WHEN THE LATHERS UNION WERE ASKED ABOUT TAKING ALUMINUM STUDS FOR CEILINGS FOR THEIR OWN TRADE THEY SAID, NO THANKS GIVE IT TO THE CARPENTERS. THE CARPENTERS UNION SAID THANK YOU VERY MUCH & WE JUMPED INTO IT WITH BOTH FEET. BUILT MANY A COMPLICATED CEILING FOR MANY JOBS. THANKS LATHERS.

That dw grid is to weak, any suppended ceiling should be no bigger spacing than 4ftx4ft and hung with 9ga. wire, i was a Union Lather in Michigan for 35years, we did tests for USG and Donn
These are special t's that armstrong just recently designed. Its only for 1/2in board i believe

BULLSHIT. EACH & JUST ABOUT EVERY PIECE BENT IS A DIFFERENT SIZE. DID IT EVERY DAY FOR MONTHS AT A TIME IN NYC. UNION COMPANY NASTASI & COMPANY.
If I wasn't personally familiar with the age gap problem in the industry, I would say there is some serious nepotism going on in the casting for this video.
