- To thank all of our 25K subscribers (and nearly 3 million viewers!), we offer the following behind-the-scenes look at our recording process. As you'll see, learning to prepare, deliver, and edit our lessons has been quite a challenge! We're so grateful to all of you for watching our videos and joining the conversation when you have felt moved. Storytelling is such a fundamental component of the human experience, and we hope that our lessons have given you new ways to appreciate the novels, poems, short stories, films, and plays that you love. Keep an eye out for more new video lessons in the weeks and months to come!
Thanks so much for all of your support, SWLFpack! If you have any suggestions for future videos, please let us know here. We're in the process of recording a few more and we can't wait to get them out into the world!
Thank you for all these amazing videos!
Thanks so much for your kind words, Justine! We're excited to get a few more out soon!
It's fun to see how these are made. Thank you so much for the hard work and effort that you put into these videos. They're incredible! As someone who just had their "introduction to literature" course in college, these were extremely helpful! Especially since English isn't my first language and text books can be a little complicated because of the difficult language they use, your videos simplified those concepts and ideas in a wonderful way that made it so much easier for me to understand. I have nothing but love and respect for every and each one of you, and I wish you the best❤
Wow, this comment has just made our day, Maya! We're so happy to hear that you're enjoying the series--and more importantly, that it has been helpful to you in your studies. If you think it'd be useful, you are also welcome to check out our transcripts for the lessons, which are available here: liberalarts.oregonstate.edu/wlf/oregon-state-guide-english-literary-terms
We're trying to make our project as broadly accessible as possible, and we're excited to see it getting out into the world!
Congratulations! It's fun to catch a glimpse of the process behind the product (and to see that adjusting to the camera is a universal thing)--here's to many more!
Thanks so much, Andrew! And yes, we are STILL adjusting to the camera...
Not only is it very informative to others, it also serves to be fun to watch
Excellent! Thanks so much for your continued support, Huesam3698!
Thanks for your priceless films. They help me improving a lot❤
Thanks so much, ivarlangseth! We're delighted to hear that you are finding the videos useful!
These videos are fantastic -- I use them in my undergraduate lit teaching all the time. Only today did I scroll through the whole list (and subscribe!). You all rock! Thank you for taking the time and putting all that work into making these; I've told my first-year students to bookmark the series and to come back to it throughout their career. Well done, OSU!
Wow, thanks so much, @kellyst-jacques27 ! This comment just made our day. If you'd like an easier way to navigate our series, check out the following site, which contains all the videos and the transcripts: liberalarts.oregonstate.edu/wlf/oregon-state-guide-english-literary-terms
@@SWLF Wowza! That’s one impressive list!! I’m going to pass it on to my students - and make sure my colleagues know about it, too! Big fan here (and I love the outtakes reel). Saluting you from the University of Ottawa in Canada!
Congratulations 🎉🎈🍾🎊
Album 💿 title equals 🟰 book 📕 📖 📚 title. Numbers plus Song title equals 🟰 Chapters Lyrics equals Details. In my opinion the number is a chapter which means a main division of a book, typically with a number or title while the song title is a song title more of chapter 1 leaning towards book 📕 📖 📚. For me as a listener studio album 💿 and book 📖 📕 are the same. Because both books and studio albums have a song title and a number right next to it which is book 📕 📖 📚 and chapter.
