    I heard this for the first time at a show in Colorado on a Ranch. It was like a gut punch. Tears fell unbidden from my eyes at the power of this message, so thoughtfully expressed and beautifully delivered.

      @@dennishoertt9201 it was the botanical gardens in Albuquerque. It was was decent concert. Slaid seemed kind of stuck up though.

      @@ERuiz-fe1db He can be a bit shy. But I would describe him as anything but stuck up. Try again...I would say he is best to get to know at small venues.

    It's nice to see the cream rise to the top. Great songs always seem to find their way to the masses. I believe Hickory, Walnut, and Pine will be no exception. I equate H,W,P. to John Prine's Paradise. H.W.P., like Paradise, will be played at bluegrass jams for years to come. Keep up the good work.
