    Justin Richard has collected a wealth of information using a continuous glucose monitor to experiment with different foods and their effect on his blood sugar. He explains how monitoring your glucose can help you stay healthy, too!
    Justin has a family history of type 2 diabetes, so he wanted to learn more about insulin resistance to prevent the same fate. He noticed his energy levels diminishing in his late 40s, especially after eating certain foods, so he began using a CGM (continuous glucose monitor) to investigate.
    When he first experimented with the CGM, Justin followed his typical diet, which consisted of many highly processed foods. These foods elevated his blood sugar, and it remained elevated for quite some time.
    Anytime you eat, especially carbs, your blood sugar rises. Depending on the type of food, you'll experience either a slight or dramatic rise.
    Justin was surprised by the effect white flour, bread, and whole wheat bread had on his blood sugar. He explains that there is a minimal difference between white bread and whole wheat products when it comes to blood sugar. Ezekiel bread has the lowest impact on Justin’s blood sugar.
    Justin explains that stress and lack of sleep significantly increase his fasting blood glucose. Eating close to bedtime leaves his blood sugar high for 6 to 7 hours.
    Justin recommends eating carbs with protein, fat, and fiber. This slows down the rate of digestion, lowering the blood sugar spike after eating. Apple cider vinegar mixed in water also slows digestion and significantly lowers a blood sugar spike.
    Justin suggests these tips to eliminate bad food choices and bad eating habits:
    1. Don’t go to the grocery store hungry
    2. Say no to junk food at the grocery store
    3. Go for a walk after a large meal
    4. Don’t consume sweets after a meal or when you wake up

      The keto diet is not healthy, as it tends to eliminate most carbs. There are good carbs and bad carbs. You need to know how to manage thegoodones.

      Yes! I do intermittent fasting, and when I am riding a wave of hunger, I tell myself "This hunger pang is temporary---an amputation is permanent." Four of my family members had had amputations from diabetes.

    I’m also in the 40s and noticed a decline in my health….now recently in the past 4 weeks I’ve been doing intermittent fasting, virtually cutting off all processed foods and eating a low carb diet…..I’ve noticed my irregular heartbeat that I’ve developed over the past few years is gone, my blood pressure is no longer high, my joint pain is gone….i can feel my body is detoxing but I feel if I keep this up for another month, I will reap the full potential benefits of this

      I’m on my 50’s have all the same things going on. I’ve started Whole Foods eating but I have slipped away off and on. Every day is a new start to eat healthy and needed to feel better.

      @@jayesh5131 mostly eggs in the morning, salad for lunch …..about 40-50 grams of carbs per day….before I was indulging in tangerines eating 5 a day and drinking very sugary probiotic drinks every day. I didn’t realize how much carbs I was consuming per day even though I thought they were healthy, but now I only drink low carb probiotic drinks and low carb vegetable juice and add just a few grapes, blueberries, or strawberries to my salad ….doing 16-8 intermittent fasting and drinking water with squeezed lemon juices

    Day 42 carnivore and I have realized that prior i was both a carb and sugar addict. Now I have clarity, sleep well, dreaming again, b/p down, weight loss, more energy, etc. Yesterday, I had a coke zero and it tasted horrible.

      Coke Zero has always tasted horrible! LOL 😂 But congrats on seeing results from your diet changes. I'm 60 days in with taking medication (after my Type 2 diagnosis) and 42 days on Keto and I'm seeing similar results. Can't wait for my next A1c blood test...

    I ate poorly in my 40s and 50s. In my 50s I felt tired at the end of my day. Now that I'm 70 I feel better now since I've been eating wholesome foods for the past two years. I've been avoiding eating any package foods from a store. He speaks the truth about not buying processed foods at the store. Remove that temptation.

      I’m 65 and working on excess belly fat and lowering carbs. I educated myself with a few years of the CGM, I now the foods that raise my blood sugars. I messed up earlier this year by being drunk for months. I have to undo the results and this time it was harder. Aging also plays into this. But I’m on board to try again.

      @@yolandasilva1921 the only thing sweet was orange juice lemon aid. No bread or any carbs. No coke’s. Just meat and vegetables and water. One meal a day. I lost a lb every 3 days. My bp went from 210/110 to 120/80 in 6 months.

      Some carbs kick in quicker, but adding in fats/proteins will cause a big rise after 3-5 hours.
      PB and crackers is a tough one, without insulin upfront your sugar will rise quickly, then stay elevated from the protein.
      I love PB, just eat it earlier and differently now. It's great on a burger with no bun.

      Could be drinks too. I noticed my blood sugar raised during sleep when I drank a can of sparkling water. Later found out that natural flavors in those "healthy" fizzy drinks contain huge amounts artificial sweeteners, which is apparently what triggered my insulin response. What's even more upsetting is learning that sweeteners don't have to be listed in the ingredients and nutrient label because they can be clumped into the natural flavors umbrella.

    Another thing I noticed from my CGM is that after chewing two sticks of cinnamon and drinking a glass of water brings down my blood sugar levels

      @@Jen.X.65 Get a prescription from your doctor. They may be resistant because you don’t have a diagnosis and insurance won’t pay. Tell them that you know that and still want one. They should go ahead and give it to you. Either ask for a FreeStyle Libre 2 or 3. If you get the 2, you’ll need a second prescription for the reader. If you get the 3, make sure your phone is compatible with the app before getting it.
      I got the 3 at my local CVS and paid ~$83 for two, which is one month’s supply. They’ll find a discount for you. I’d check around at different pharmacies to see if any are less. My daughter paid ~$70 at our local grocery store chain pharmacy.

      @@Jen.X.65 You can do the same tests with a blood glucose meter and finger pricks. Test 1.5 hours after your meal. If your spiking over 160 your slowly causing damage and need to change your diet. My goal was to stay under 160 for meals, but I got it down to 125 or less for almost every meal.

    I used to be a sugar addict. My dentist is my witnessed lol But I have cut sugar out of my life for a couple of years now. At first it was hard but now I don't crave it anymore. The only real sugar I get is from blueberries and some carbs. But I try to keep my carb consumption low. I eliminated bread and pasta from my diet. Still eat rice but not as much as before. You get used to it. A couple of years ago I had a bite of a donut and I thought I was going to die. 😂😂 When you stop consuming a lot of sugar, you will automatically know which food has a lot of sugar as soon as you taste it. Also, make sure to read food labels. Stay away from high fructose syrup. Hope this helps.

      Search out substitutes so you don't feel deprived . . . buy 95% or 100% Chocolate ("Bakers Chocolate).
      Buy pasta made from edamame or other low-carb veggie. Eat hamburgers made with Keto buns.
      Instead of ice cream, make smoothies with strawberries, Keto vanilla shake pwder, greek yogurt, splash of cream and milk, add ice cubes and blend. I have the smoothie or some nuts if I get hungry between my routine of 2 meals a day..

      I find it astounding how much tastebuds can detect sugar in food when you're completely off sugar - like salad or pasta or any other sauces like far east asia foods etc. (where we really don't need any sugar in it).

      @@ylcalif3681 I honestly don't feel deprived. I'm happy with the sugar I get from blueberries alone. Your body will get so used to not eating sugar that you will not miss it. Same with water. At first I hated it but now that is all that I drink lol Please be careful with some of the keto products you mentioned. Always read the ingredients on the back. ♥️

    I learned so much from watching Justin's videos. I got a CGM myself and was shocked at what would spiked my glucose level. What I found for myself is that I have to eat carnivore diet. I losing weight now and have reduced my CGM level. I also found that if I eat food that does spike my glucose level it takes a day to return back to my baseline. I now understand that A1C is a 3 month reading that remembers all the time you ate the wrong food. Thank you both for educating me on how to reduce my glucose with only 6 hour eating window and the carnivore diet. What Justin said about flour and rice does negatively effect me too. What I have found that anything processed and sold at stores is bad for me. Any type of sugar no matter what it is called, is still sugar including honey and I have tested this with my CGM. Thanks for talking about sleep and how it effects my level. I noticed my morning fasting glucose is higher then in the afternoon after a noon breakfast of bacon and eggs. I have two torn rotator cuffs that wakes me up in the middle of the night to move around to reduce the pain from the tears. I thought that eating plain popcorn was a good snack until I ate popcorn and saw my glucose level to increase. My doctor had me see his dietitian 10 years ago who had me on the government pyramid and my A1C kept going up. I tried the carnivore diet since I was not making progress on lowering my A1C. Six months later my A1C was below 5.8 and my doctor was shocked when I told him what I did and now he is recommending carnivore to some of his other patients.       Yeah. We cannot control our genetics but can try with diet but a lot of people need support and knowledge because they have been fed the wrong information for years. I cringe and usually open my big mouth when I hear people saying "oh this is low fat" in the store lol

      If you're not a type 1 diabetic or a type to your blood sugar is going to stay within a range that is normal for evolutionary biology. You can track it, but you might as well be tracking your hormones and minerals levels.

    I’m liking how this guy says “for me”.
    Twins have been monitored with these glucose monitor things and insulin spikes were triggered by different things. This from memory, one was triggered by rice while the other wasn’t and the other by white wine while the other was not.
    Gut bacteria was speculated as a possible reason.

      I get TWICE the blood sugar spike and it STICKS with rice. Not so with bread. I am diabetic btw. This explains why eating rice or rice noodles puts me to sleep.

    I tried Doritos after almost a year on the Carnivore diet. I tasted like chemical flavored cardboard. However, before carnivore it was something I really "enjoyed"

      I can literally remember moving to a new state when I was a kid and seeing ‘rich kids’ who got chips in their lunches from home and they introduced me to Doritos and I didn’t like the look of them but tasted them and went ‘ick’
      I had an aversion to any snack food that had orange cheese powder
      But when I was re-introduced to them again in my 20s at alcohol chips and booze parties I started eating them and was ‘addicted’
      But as soon as I got healthy again I didn’t like the taste of them anymore

      I have been gluten free twenty years now. About 7 years ago I needed to buy the rolls for a dinner party. The moment I would pick up a bag of rolls they would smell moldy. Kept shopping until I found a store that had rolls that did not smell moldy. A small shop that bought from a small bakery.
      Everyone raved about how good the rolls were.
      When I was eating gluten products I had no ides that most bread smelt of mold.
      I buy bread for my husband from a woman who makes it. It always smells good.

    The late night eating/6 hour blood spike part freaked me out, because so many of us have done this and just think of all the DAMAGE that high blood glucose is doing to our eyesight, capillaries, nerves, and other organs over those hours! Also, I 100% agree with all his blood glucose/energy level findings. I too grew up eating the carby breakfast, not just cereals, but so-called “healthy” breakfasts of meat, eggs, orange juice, whole wheat toast, oatmeal, etc., and would drag through the day feeling washed out, headachy, and what we call “logey” all day. I went low-carb back in 2004 after several friends lost significant weight converting to it, and within two weeks my migraines were gone, my daytime energy level was off the charts, and I felt like “everything worked properly”.

      T-1 Diabetic here, meat and eggs are great, just have to watch later sugar rises from protein/ fats. I use good butter, avocado oil, and olive oil. Avocados will help control sugars and spikes too.

      Generally, the timing of food intake matters....no matter the form of caloric intake.
      Our human body, its organs & its physiology.....runs on a clock.
      "Departments" inside our body....works better during specific times of the day.
      Likewise, they don't work as well at other times of the day.
      Departments "close" or "shuts down" or go "offline" - depending on the time of day.
      And if you are working on a busy schedule, your system's fuel necessities are different each day & different compared to someone else's life schedule.
      Sleep is necessary for all of us.
      There are those that can function with little to no sleep, but are paying for it in other ways & collections may happen latter or sooner than planned for.

    I just got Signos CGM three weeks ago. Best thing I ever did for myself! Almost instantly I can see what my food choices are doing to my blood sugar and I can see how my body reacts to my “old” favorites. But an unexpected bonus was now I also see how good exercise is for me! I can’t wait to exercise now because I see how my body reacts! It’s not some vague concept anymore, I see how my food decisions, sleep, stress and even exercise are all effecting MY health in a positive fun way. I feel hopeful and in control….IT IS WORTH EVERY PENNY!

      @@WinsomeWinslet I drink a tablespoon of ACV with 1/2 teaspoon of potassium bicarbonate (available in wine & beer making stores or on Amazon). This is recommended in one of Dr. Berg's earlier videos about Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV). Hope that is helpful!
      I forgot to say, dissolved in water, and also that I no longer get leg cramps.

    Justin is constantly demonstrating that glucose is glucose no matter what form it takes.
    Here is the thing: your liver makes all the glucose you need. Any you eat is extra whether it spikes your blood glucose or not and represents a problem of storage and disposal by the body. It has to be burned or stored before any fat burning can begin. If you constantly eat carbs, you never burn fat.

      Glucose is glucose no matter what form? Not really. There's a reason processed foods are unhealthy and unprocessed foods are not. And glucose is vital especially for those who do intense training and HIT like myself.

      Not me eating carbs and losing weight 💀 Just don't exaggerate with the carbs, which many people tend to do and you will be fine. My grandma reversed her diabetes going on walks and measuring the amount of bread and rice she was eating, 2 fruits a day, and no sweats. Before that, she will have 3 chocolates late at night watching the TV and never leaving the house 🤦‍♀️

It’s all about the insulin response. You get a smaller insulin response when you eat sugar in its natural and original form.

      @@rodagrail3231 8 Kilometers which is about 5miles here in the US. Might not sound like much but I’m losing weight with ease now. Of course diet and my supplement stack are helping also but I believe walking after a meal is making a bigger impact.

      This is good advice. Move after every meal. Sometimes we don’t have time to go for a 30 min walk. When I’m fine restricted I’ll bang out 50 push-ups after a meal just to get some of that glucose sucked into the muscles.

    i had HBA1c 6.74 . 3 years ago
    at that time i was Drinking sweet Tea 9 to 10 CUPS a day. plus 8 to 9 Chapati (Roti) Bread
    after that i remove sugar and reduce chapati ( roti ) Bread from 9 to 2 (Whole wheat Stone mill Grinded ) per day & zero Cups of Tea per day.. after few months my HBA1c was 4.68 it was very great for me then i added some rice and little bit sweet some time in a month then Hba1c was 5.3 & now 5.06
    I was 77 KG at the time of 6.74 HBA1c
    and i was 58KG when my HBA1c was 4.68
    now
    I AM 65KG and HBA1c is 5.06
    I am eating little bit fruit some time in a month. and salad daily... and i only eat two times a day and 1 bread at a time. NO tea NO soda NO bakery items. just dry fruits some time and i did 16 to 18 hours fasting many many months from last 3 years
    I reverse my diabetes and now its in control.
    Thanks to GOD.

      thats great. I cut bread...pasta..all process junk. I value my health more than a short pleasure boost from food. I didnt know how bad the FAKE bread was and the pasta and the sauses...and and the coffee creamer are for us. GOODBYE. feel wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy better....50lbs gone down the terlet.

    Look out for the ingredient *maltodextrin* in 'health' supplements.
    I just found it in a favorite beet juice powder.
    It is not listed as a sugar.
    Maltodextrin has a glycemic index (GI) of 95-136, which is higher than table sugar's GI of 65. This means that maltodextrin can cause blood sugar levels to rise quickly, especially if consumed in large amounts.

      It mainly is used for two purposes. In gainers as a fast carb because it is considered nice to the stomach, and as a diluting base for artificial sweeteners but that is only in very small amounts.

      @@bgezal I would like to point you to research on the 'vascular endothelial glycocalyx' as our shields to emphasize the importance of keeping the blood glucose normalized (no spikes).
      If I am using artificial sweeteners to control my blood sugar, and maltodextrin is snuck in there, it defeats my purpose.

    Regarding sourdough bread: For over 12 years, I was dealing w awful morning digestive issues, coupled w migraine issues every couple of months. I went gluten free, tried stopping sugars (probably not as strict as I could have) etc, but it was only after I completely stopped highly processed seed oils that I found some improvement.
    I began my own sourdough starter and have been making my sourdough bread w unbleached flour (it's the only way the natural fermentation works). EVERYTHING else is bleached flour. Like what you put in you swimming pool. Talk about stripping your gut health!
    For me, it's the potatoes and rice that spiked my sugars and now I eat my bread and solved the 12 year torture sessions almost completely.
    I have heard that good home made bread can detox some heavy metals as well. Thank you, Dr Berg and guest. Always appreciated.

    I also monitor with CGM and have found very similar results as Jason and has been a game changer. At my age my peers are all struggling with diabetes. I have convinced several to start CGM. One more thing I can add, if getting off track and my blood sugar starts trending higher, skipping a meal will get it back in line.

    At the beginning of my Diabetic Journey a Chiropractor said to me "if you look at food your glucose will rise" A hard boil egg w/ noting on it will make my Glucose rise. CGM are not always 100% correct, they can fluctuate. I am so in tune with my body/gut, I can tell when the CGM is off. I prick my finger to check, and reset the Dexcom 6 CGM
    I am 100% sure it is all the Sugar, Processed Foods, Chemicals, Dyes that is damaging people. I believe that all people react different to one food or liquid than another person. A lot of us (like me) won't be diagnosed until it is too late then get the wrong information from a Western Dr. For example... actually had a Dr. tell me "When you eat pizza, make sure you have pepperoni on it" Why I asked. "Because the pepperoni will counter-act the Carbs" What he should have told me was EAT VERY LITTLE CARBS because carbs convert to Glucose and your Glucose will always be High if you aren't careful.
    After a conversation w/ a Nutritionist about Oatmeal, she says to me: "You can eat Oatmeal just don't eat as much" WRONG a table\ spoon of cooked Oatmeal will shoot my Glucose HIGH.
    Each on of us needs to figure out what is best for our Body, Gut and Mind. I stopped snacking. I eat two times a day. When I get hungry. There's is a difference between hunger pains and glucose pains!!!
    If your stomach is not feeling EMPTY and feel like it is in knots then you shouldn't eat.
    I no longer have Brain Fog, I have not developed Neuropathy because I am CAREFUL of Fog/Nerve Foods that fry the brain and veins. Careful of what Western Drs. tell you. Research Research Research and figure out what is best for you BEFORE it's too late.
    BTW Daves Bread - seed breads is my choice. Read the labels find the ones that have the least amount of Carbs and Sugar. One slice at a time and only when my craving for bread takes over. I love toast. :-)

    I had stopped bread all together and hardly eat pasta. During a wedding reception I had a bunch of bread at an Italian restaurant along with pasta, potatoes which resulted in me being sick the next day. I can only imagine what my blood sugar was like. I felt horrible and had no energy. This all makes sense and I can't believe I thought just one meal wouldn't hurt me!

    Great Video, I enjoyed this so much. I have a similar story, I purchased a CGM and found out I was going in the 180's and 200's after eating fruit and smoothies and potatoes. All things I thought were healthy. I cut back the carbs and am feeling so much better. I was having diabetes symptoms. Constant urination, tingling and numbness in arms and legs, trouble sleeping, constant hunger and many other diabetic symptoms. I also ordered an A1c test which said 6.3. After going low carb for 3 months, my A1c is now 5.7 and I am doing much better. My moods are alot better too. I was so cranky before. Anyway, lets do more of these shows.     My God! This video is so timely. I just got a CGM last weekend and it’s such an eye opener.
    One thing that really surprised me was that I take on empty stomach 2 capsules of vitamin D3/ K2, 2 capsules of TUDCA, 2 Capsules of Vitamin B1 and 1 capsule of vitamin E and the sugar spike is just surprising. And here I was thinking that I am in ketosis 😢

    I love sugar and sweets, a problem I inherited from my family. My late parents were both diabetic, and suffered greatly from complications. I used to binge on sweets, especially chocolate. I'm definitely an addict. My best solution is to toss every crumb of it out of my house, everything. I tell myself constantly that I refuse to be a slave to my tastebuds. The fake food industry is worse than the old cigarette peddlers. They will never control me.
    As I listen more, motivation to quit junk food completely can come from many sources. In my case, I developed seizures from a brain tumor. The tumor had likely been there many years without affecting me. But despite my low carb diet, I was extremely stressed due to family problems and only 4 or 5 hours of sleep every night, thus the seizures. The tumor needed to come out. For three months before the removal surgery, I didn't cheat on low carb at all. I was highly motivated. The surgery went well, and I am now recovering. The keto lifestyle doesn't fix everything, but it is still worth the effort.

    I'm 53 and was diagnosed as a type 1 diabetic after a case of acue keto acidosis put me in the hospital. Ive always worked out but my diet wasn't the best. Now i find im very sensitive to sugar spikes. I've gone to a low carb diet and cut out all sugar. This allows me to skip insulin injections at meal times and only have to give myself a 24hr long acting insulin injection. A CGM has been key in figuring out my diet. Good info here.

    I would be interested in a monitoring device. But... My biggest problem with these continuous monitors is WHO ELSE is reading YOUR personal data? My doctor, who I can absolutely NEVER trust ever again? My insurance? Advertisers? The government? I want a truly absolutely closed circuit unit that is NOT internet enabled AT ALL and I will manage the data on paper. My data is 100% private or I can't use it. Read: I would rather die than to give up my absolute privacy.

      Then a continuous monitor may not be for you. You can get something like a keto mojo monitor. You have to prick your finger but you can get blood glucose and ketone levels. You could use it without the app and manually record your data.

    I’m currently pregnant and instead of taking the one time glucose tolerance test for pregnancy, I opted to monitor my blood sugar at home and I’m so glad I did!
    It really showed me what type of foods affected me, which is worse and when I’m most sensitive to sugar/carbs (which is in morning/lunch time, usually dinner I do better with carbs).
    Though I ended up not being diagnosed with gestational diabetes, I still continue to eat healthy, limit carbs in the morning and I feel so much better. I’m not as tired during my pregnancy and my sciatic/piriformis pain went away after a month of eating better.
    I totally recommend pregnant ladies no matter if they have gestational diabetes or not to monitor their blood sugar and make better choices for there’s and their baby

    I started eating Chickpea Pasta after Justin tested it, and it did not spike my blood sugar. So, I’ve found a great alternative to regular pasta.

    I just have started to watch DrBerg channel 1year ,however i have followed his advice such as : exercise everyday, cut off sugar,skip breakfast, no snacking ,2 meals aday and drinking 2 litres water aday .My weight from 57 down to 47kg in 1 year.     Since moving to the Philippines over a year ago my diet has really changed.
    I had become type 2 and it was extremely difficult while living in the U.S. to control it even with meds.
    But now I'm on no meds and my foods don't have an ingredient label.
    My weight has dropped and my energy has went way up!
    Fasting these days are so much easier, I don't wake up hungry.
    My next move is to purchase a CGM✌🏾❤

    Great session! Justin spoke about something very important: the cravings, the temptation and the gratification from junk and sugary foods. I would add that finding nutritional foods that satisfy you without that feeling of "I'm being deprived" of something that makes you happy, is crucial and equally important. I used to bake my own bread, croissants, focaccia, cakes, cookies, cupcakes, brownies and I ended up pre-diabetic. Now instead of grabbing a croissant, my breakfast (after fasting) is something like an omelet with veggies, mushrooms and avocado, or breakfast bites with bacon (uncured), spinach and mozzarella, and dessert is something like cottage cheese or chia seeds pudding with various berries, chopped walnuts or pecans and cinnamon. Equally satisfying... for me =). When the sugar spikes and crashes stop, your energy levels improve, your digestive system quiets down and recuperates from all the past abuse, the cravings stop too.

      Diagnosed T-1 4 yrs ago, and I loved sweets and carbs similar to you before.
      Finding replacements for what you crave is the key. I like the things you mentioned. Also Quest chips and some certain protein bars.

      I was horrible at cravings. I would visit my brothers vacation house and literally spend 10 hour snacking. Then I tried low carb carnivore and I did not go in kitchen except for a hot dog.

    I bought a loaf of sourdough from the farmer's market, that bread was so sweet that it spiked my glucose to the roof. I've never understood why people put sugar in any bread.

      Or tomato sauce, you see that in most commercial versions, you can make your own bacon pasta sauce with fried bacon, in the grease brown a cut onion, chopped garlic, basil and oregano. Add a 28 ounce can of crushed tomatoes, stir and simmer for 20 minutes on medium heat, crumble the bacon and add it in. Stir and simmer another 10 minutes, I gave some to a guy who was a chef for high end restaurants, he said he would serve it in them. You can use any meet you want for that sauce.

    I started using the G7 CGM and I was sick from what I learned. I never really ate sugary things but have a high blood sugar level - For me Pizza, Pasta, Any Chips - Zaxbys, Chinese, fastfood, anything fried or processed takes me from 120 to over 400 - Super crazy, now if I just add some sugar to my coffee or have a little snack just raises it a little. I also do better with 2 workout s day- 1 hard weight training and 1 light cardo / stretching 8-10 hrs later by far helps me the most and light fasting in between. - I Do good on whole foods salads, proteins, meats, snack on nuts, diet drinks /water - unsweet tea - Having a fruit whey shake everyday keeps me feeling full till time to eat. I am going to do another 6th months of the G7 and try to perfect everything over a long term

    Whenever I give my kids *any* kind of sugar, the rule is they *must* have “protein first” to help balance their blood sugar. We’ve don’t this for the last 10 years.

      I always told mine after they had sugar they had to brush their teeth. It did actually seem to make them decide against at times. But they got the sugar out of their teeth as well.😁
