I get why people do it but I personally think the poise meta is so stupid. I feel like people shouldn't feel restricted to barely a handful of armor sets to choose between, I love seeing people's actual fashion in these games
Completely agree. Currently, Solitude armor + Rakshasa Great Katana is the meta… It’s the new “dual Naginata” setup basically. So brain dead how people all wear the same items and run around abusing whatever “ign” tells them is good. Souls games are about using whatever is unique to your build and learning to strategize…but ER just turned the series into “what is the cheesiest thing that doesn’t get nerfed”.

Also just want to say for anyone who hasn't used the frame data tool, it's really easy to use. More importantly, my favorite move in the game, the hand-to-hand 1h running R2, does +260 poise damage. Now that's a fucking flying kick should hit!

Shame its light attacks are so lacking in poise that its hard to argue ever using em
Roar of rugalea is going to be a problem. I can be buffed by exalted flesh as well.
