Married couple Corey (he/him) and Daniel (he/him) discuss navigating their personally hard year of 2019, and some of the affects 2020 has had on them, including the pandemic, Black Lives Matter, and missing family members overseas. The two talk about the life they've built together in the U.S., but also where they could be in the next ten years, whether the U.S. or the U.K. and if they'll have children and how many.

You can tell their conversations are always like this. They are communicating like the camera isn’t even there. They listen as much as they speak. They communicate with each other so beautifully.

Wow...felt like I was eavesdropping on their typical after-dinner discussion. I forgot about the cards and the camera. The part about "why is it so hard to just love each other" hit me. 2020 in the US was rough on everyone, but I felt it was definitely more for BIPOC and LGBTQ+ people.
I loved this because you can clearly see they’re in love but at the same time, have real life reservations. Very healthy to be aware of reality when in a relationship. They have a strong bond and you can see that. I wish them a lifetime of happiness and growth!

Basically "the American Dream" is a big lie. In Scotland you'll have more days of (proper work life balance and opportunity to travel and visit family overseas) social security, health care, safety, less violence, proper legal security, more rights for employees, social stability, Europe around the corner. The only thing about the US would be the weather, depending on where you're living.
You're correct. I'm American, but I live in Spain and that's where I met my soul Spain. He wanted to live in the U.S. but I never wanted to go back. Once he came with me to visit the U.S. he changed his mind. We are both happy in the Canary Islands.
Well America is a turbulent wave. This good and bad rights for LGBT+ are being changed constantly. Aside bad things as trans deaths have gone up.
It's basically proven "the American Dream" is only if your rich and white... 🤷🏾♂️

What a couple's journey towards REAL love sounds like!.💖 A moving dialogue that must continue to see the light when moments in time can appear dark. Marriage coaching/counseling would be invaluable NOW for the perceived challenges/conflicts ahead. One particular point stood out for me the most - "I give 120% to what I do ("work") - needs to be unpacked in the PRESENT between the TWO of them!

Ps. Reservations when you mix 2 different people with 2 different lives are natural. As long as each of you are willing to sacrifice and compromise at different stages of your relationship, you 2 will be okay.

gorgeous couple inside and out. black&white male love is so extremely rare, it's the most rare of all the love, and therefore when real incredibly beautiful. the world does not want to see two guys in love, and definitely not a white guy with a black guy, but its just breathtaking.
i dunno. seems like most out blk men in relationships are with white men. i think there is a greater discomfort in media seeing two out blk men together. within the context of gay relationships, i dont think seeing a blk man with white guy is that rare.
