Hello everyone, and welcome to a video where we look into the story of Hakon. Easily one of the best characters in the game, Hakon has a very interesting backstory in the events leading up to Aiden arriving in Villedor.

That's the one I got. I was 1 decision away from the true ending unfortunately and i knew i was making a mistake but damn Lawan is a baddie
Hakon is by far the best character. Glad I saved him. He's such a good character
I think hakon is one of the best characters
Went nearly all survivor on first playthrough. Spared Hakon, got Lawan to spare him, and let Hakon save Lawan. Surprisingly, I got the ending where Lawan leaves with Aiden.
Did the same thing and got the aiden leaves alone ending

@@theinfection9513 Explains it. If Frank dies, he can't warn anyone of more missile attacks. The city gets destroyed, and I assume Lawan stays to pick up where he left off.
I spent a week getting the good ending for DL2, spared hakon, made lawan spare him, stopped the nukes, and beat the game just for the final cutscene to not load, just the audio playing and i didnt hear hakon or lawan in it so i dont even know if i got the good ending, fml
I wish there was an ending where both Hakkon and Lawan leave with Aiden.
That would be awkward asf 😂 Aiden and Lawan getting together and Hakon 3rd wheeling

Another great video. Nothing wrong at all! Fun Fact: Hakon in the Art Book received by pre ordering the game shows Hakon as just some random white guy, not David Bell, on Page 57. Also Cillian used to be named Hank.
to get the leaving with hakon ending, spare hakon and lawan spared him. Save lawan from detonating the explosives. hakon comes in and tries to Mia with Aiden saving lawan. villedor destroyed and you got the hakon ending.

Hakon is the best. But, yeah, I think that the photo of Hakon and his military mates was actually Frank on the right and Cillian on the left. Anyway, thanks for making this.
Oh god, now it makes sense. Just finished the game, and no wonder Hakon looked familiar. He was Leito all along from Banlieue 13!

Wasn't hakon friends with Frank before he established the Nightrunners? They where in the Military together. On the Picture in Cillians hut in old villedor, the person on the far right hand side looks like Frank to me.

I hid under a table to get the eye icon then fast traveled and I kept the invisibility while crouching until I swung my weapon or used my parachute.
this game wouldve been 11/10 if they worked on the character development more, like when you meet veronika she literally dies the same mission you meet her, making her death less impactful. idk just think they shouldve spent more time on the characters and their stories
Is there any lore on the castle in the distance. I read about it on a collectible and there are a bunch of collectibles talking about elysim
A year Late but im going to answer anyway. The castle is called the citadel. It’s a part of a cut area in the game known as „Elyseum“. It is likely to come back in a dlc, at least some developers say so 👀
I’m really annoyed I missed the hakon church quest with the fight, I accidentally sided with that snake Juan and missed out on an entire plot line, so hakon did survive until the end but for some reason let’s himself and lawan get blown up, I was confused because his dialogue is screwed up as well and Aiden tells him he should have killed him when he had the chance yet I never seen him again since he was shot by lawan near the beginning

I think Mia isn’t really he’s sister but more like there devolved a deep relationship with each other that adien saw her as he’s sister but Mia could be more of he’s love interest to adien

Do you think you can make a video on the phone calls they are a bit odd. Or maybe on the guns bc there is so much talk about it.
Guns no longer exist in the world, least not in villedor. As for the phone calls theyre more additional stories that give ideas on life before the apocalypse. Kinda like the cell phone recordings you find in division
Is it ever announced which ending is the true ending like they did for the ending of The Following dlc
I tryed to play as real piligrim, help only ppl who gives info about Mia, and out, didnt care about missing or etc, got ending leaving alove from city, best ending for real piligrim

Pretty interesting, but a little surface level. Instead of having so many characters, they really should have just focused on two or three. It feels like Sophie, Aitor, and the General are barely even characters because of how absent they are in the game.
Yeah I know. There really was not much about any side characters. I literally had to scour the entire game to find stuff out about Hakon. It probably has something to do with the fact that Techland parted ways with their main story writer halfway through, so I guess that’s why it seems disjointed in terms of character development
Poor Hakon, his alive ending is probably not canon. I can't imagine Aiden would let the city get destroyed.
Oh well Lawan is a pretty good consolation prizes l. At first i was meh with her but over time she grew on me. Still poor Hakon, sorry buddy

How in the hell do you get that ending with either of them leaving with you?? I can only get the good ending with Aiden leaving alone after Mia dies and hakon saves lawan from x-13 exploding
Did you pick up Mia and leave with her?
I left with her, I did use all but 5 inhibitors in my first playthrough though
1: Make Lawan happy
2: Save Frank (Save Aitor which will automatically make the herbalist that will help him didn't get accuse for the recent peacekeeper's member death)
3. Give comm tower to Frank
4. Don't let Lawan kills Hakon
5. Trust the colonel
6. Save Mia
If you did right:
1. Aitor may appears at Fish Eye
2. Lawan becomes the nightrunner's leader
3. Matt will attack you with his peacekeepers when The Colonel (The Butcher) sends you to X13 with his driver. Frank, Cillian, Hakon and some other veteran nightrunners will come and help you by confronting Matt and his peacekeeper.
4. Lawan will stay with you all the time when you're at X13 until she got shot. Hakon comes to save the day.
5. Hakon may or may not side with the renegade during your last confrontation with the renegade at X13. He will not try to kill you if he sides with the renegade at that time.
6. Hakon will save Lawan when she detonates the bomb in X13. Both of them will survive. This may trigger an ending with Lawan if follow every major choice on the top. Always trust The Colonel.
