About Spider-Man Movie:
After incorporating elements of comic book style and design into many of his films, director Sam Raimi helms this straight-ahead, big-budget comic book adaptation, which also marks acclaimed young actor Tobey Maguire's first dip into live-action blockbuster filmmaking. Spider-Man follows the template of the original Stan Lee/Steve Ditko source material, with hero Peter Parker an orphaned, intellectual teen loner living in Queens with his aunt (Rosemary Harris) and uncle (Cliff Robertson), and dreaming of the girl next door, Mary Jane (Kirsten Dunst). On a field trip to a Columbia University lab, Peter is bitten by a genetically altered spider and overnight he gains superhuman strength, agility, and perception. At first, Peter uses his powers for material gain, winning a wrestling match with a purportedly lucrative prize. But when Peter apathetically fails to stop a burglar from robbing the wrestling arena, a tragedy follows that compels him to devote his powers to fighting crime -- as the superhero Spider-Man. When he's not busy fighting crime in a spider suit, Peter moves into an apartment with his best friend, Harry (James Franco), and begins work as a photographer at the Daily Bugle. Meanwhile, his do-gooder alter ego finds a nemesis in the form of the Green Goblin (Willem Dafoe), a super-powered, megalomaniacal villain who happens to be the alter ego of Harry's father, weapons-manufacturing mogul Norman Osborn. Sequels have their advantages; they can simply say "this person has these powers, there is a problem, let's go tell a story"
I still prefer the built not born storyline . I gives more depth to characters who aren't gifted with powers but are smart enough to create their own solutions. Kinda why I liked Andrew and Tom's Spider-Man better than this one.

I really like the concept of Spiderman having an organic web, it makes him more unique. It also makes sense since his powers came from a spider.
I personally like the web shooter concepts, cause it allows him to run out and also have more unique combinations. With that said, I do think at some point they should give the mcu Spiderman organic webbing to grow his abilities as a hero and so he has a backup if his webshooters run out.

Organic webbing is the best, relying on a synthetic web shooter when that’s your main ability really isn’t a good thing. people always say that Spider-Man making his own webbing is supposed to show how smart he is but there are plenty of other ways to do that

Danny Elfman (the composer) said that he scored the music based on the scenes and it really shows, because the music fits perfectly to what you see from minute to minute

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure he already knew he had the ability to shoot webs from his wrists prior to this scene. He was doing it earlier in the film. One of the most popular scenes in the film (his fight with Flash) literally started because he accidentally flung a tray of food at him with his webs.
This scene was just the first time he actually tried using them to swing, nothing was being foreshadowed here.

Something I feel like gets underrated bout this movie is its soundtrack.
Specifically right here when hes climbing the wall. U get this feeling of suspense and jus utter surprise and almost like a shot of adrenaline with each step he takes climbing up and up that I feel serves the scene really well

This scene is so epic in every way. And Tobey McGuire’s reaction to when he realizes he can climb up walls with his bare hands and shoot web fluid from the veins in his wrists is just priceless. And seriously, how could someone not whoop like a banshee when something like this happens? You’ve just found out that you have an almost god like ability to swing through the air with ease and beat on criminals with acrobatic agility that would make most gymnastics athletes jealous, and you want to try and contain your excitement? Ha! Good luck with that. This film really was ahead of its time, and just the fact that it released around the same time as X-Men made it all the better, because it showed that superheroes were finally becoming a part of the modern age. I hope to see Tobey come back for Spider-Man: No Way Home.

People think it's not realistic for a highschool kid to be able to make a gadget that might just be more high-tech than the military, from the same movie that a spider bite makes you jump high and climb walls.
Yeahhh agreed, but this is crazy unrealistic. Think of the amount of calories you'd need to consume to produce this much material lol. The web shooters make way more sense, but I like the "natural" version more.
