- As colder weather sets in, I decide to add a windshield to my Polaris Ranger EV and settle on the SuperATV Heavy Duty Scratch Resistant Full Windshield for Polaris MIDSIZE Rangers. I show you how I installed it and share tips for easier installation and caring for the windshield.
You can buy directly from SuperATV but they also sell it on Amazon. Either way, shipping is free.

nice video as I am consdering a windshield for my Kubota RTX
Very nice setup you have there.
Thanks!
More Polaris Ranger EV videos please!
Not to worry. More are in the works. Thanks for watching!
Great idea Martin. Will make those chilly or windy days much easier to get around. Have a Happy New Years!
Hi Gord! The windshield make a big difference for sure. Happy New Year to you too!
💥 Well that sure is slick! That will make for some more comfortable riding. Excellent video!
*Keep on tractoring!* 👍
Thanks, Jon! It makes a huge difference when riding around in cold weather, even with the sides open and no rear windshield. I’m very glad I got it. Thanks for watching!
That looks good Martin. It will keep you much warmer. Happy New Year! See ya in the next one!
Thanks, John! Happy New Year to you too! I see you have a couple new videos out I need to watch. Looking forward to them!
Excellent job, Martin. Loved the program interruption with the subliminal message, lol. Thanks for sharing. -Ed
Thanks, Ed! Glad you liked it!
Windshield sure do make riding more comfortable, same with the rear windshield too! I just installed a superatv one on mine as well. I did go with oem for the front as I wanted a modular 1/4 or full style. Thanks for sharing Martin
Question for you Tyler, is the rear windshield protects better while it snows? Just wondering, as snow will travel with air drafts. Thanks!
@@FromSteelToWood Hey Joe, It definitely helps with the blowing snow. It gets rid of the blowback / suction coming in from the rear similar to how the rear of a pickup gets covered when driving down a snow-covered road. Helps with keeping the cold out for the same reason too as a bonus! Haha
Hi Tyler! Do you also have doors on yours in addition to the front and rear windshields? Thanks for watching!
@@DIYMyWay Hey Martin, I don't have the doors for it. They really get pricey when looking into them. While it would be nice for long winter drives I don't do that enough to justify the cost at this time
You make it look easy! SuperATV should refer to your video for installation! The windshield is great for rain too! Thanks!
Bon jour, Joe! Merci, mon ami. Oui, c'est bon aussi pour la pluie, mais j'essaie d'éviter de rouler sous la pluie. Merci d'avoir regardé!
Good evening Sir ! I like the subliminally quirky message of yours 🤣 Great installation video Sir and that will keep up warm 👍😊 Have a great evening Sir Cheers !!!
Hi Dave! Glad you like it! I used it sparingly so that it doesn’t get annoying to subscribers. The windshield makes for a warmer more comfortable ride in cold weather. Thanks for watching! Cheers!
@@DIYMyWay Sir ( sparingly ) that is a new word for me and I like it a lot !!! Cheers !!!
How's she goin'? Nice job on the install Martin. The windshield fit pretty nice and I like the Velcro clamps. That will make for a more comfortable ride in the cold weather eh!!! Happy New Year and take care!!
Thanks, Mike! It sure does make a more comfortable ride. More so that I thought! Happy New Year to you too!
Another great install video. Thank you. BTW, when you were installing the WStriping I noticed (being a retired electrician) a rats nest of what look like wi-fi or antenna wires behind you in the corner of the garage at the garage door. Care to elaborate? Cheers.
Thanks, Paul! Yes, that’s my WiFi rats nest, complete with UPS. I plan to do a video on it in the future. Thanks for watching!
Another great how-one-might video. Given all the gentle care requirements, I am curious to know how much more the glass windshields cost.
Thanks, Terry! As I recall, when I was researching them, glass ones started at around $600 and went up from there. Thus, I went with the polycarbonate. If it doesn’t last, I guess I’ll spring for a glass one.. Thanks for watching!
@@DIYMyWayI imagine the glass one would be quite a bit heavier, too. Good luck with it.
Just wondering how you window has held up since you made this video? Would you still buy this one or pay more and get real glass? I have been looking and still can't decide if I want to spend extra to get real glass. Thanks
Hi Paul! It is still holding up really well and hasn’t gotten any noticeable scratches yet. We ride on trails, open fields on and local roads. I take it off during the warmer months for a cooler ride. It sure helps to have it on during cold months to keep the cold air off our faces. Super easy to take on and off. I’d still buy this one. Thanks for watching!
I tow my ranger alot on a trailer, will this windshield handle 70mph?
Hi John. I don’t know for sure but I don’t see why not. You might check the SuperATV website to see if there is a spec on it. Thanks for watching!
