The Honda BR-V is in no-man's land

- The new Honda BR-V is no longer considered an MPV but rather an SUV. But does this mean that Honda has taken its beloved e-hailing-cab contender into a no-man's land? It is a shame because it is a great product. Unfortunately the price of the new BR-V is hard to compare to anything because there is nothing to really compare it to. And that means you could rather go for something more budget friendly or something a bit more premium. Time will tell I guess, but my guess is that it might not be as successful as its predecessor.

I would love to see you walk around the vehicle just to take in the exterior scenes, remember as I am watching, its like your taking me to to the dealership itself, so walk around let us see those exterior shapes and grille. The main thing for me is I’d love a horn test on these cars to see what they sound like! Also singing, more singing, singing is fun, we need more singing in life. 😊
Would like to see you test the lower down models of the spesific range of cars , that people realy buy. Not always the top model of a range.
I don't really have a say always, it is up to the manufacturers, but on the plus side, it is usually the top of the range models so I am at least always comparing apples with apples. :) But in two weeks time I will be in the Suzuki S-Presso so look out for it
@@julietmcguire Would something like a Spresso even merit a review. I would boycott all variants that don't meet a minimum safety standard personally.

Could this be compared to the Mitsubishi expander also a 7 seater and perhaps you could do a review on it aswell

Keep the hard work up, maybe something fresh would be adding one or two extra cameras for different views or shots. Love the rawness of you not editing things out.
Great, practical, straight to the point reviews. Sometimes one would like to share these with interested family members but the cursing can be overwhelming, even if it’s bleeped. It would be nice to also consider viewers who don’t like swearing (not saying change who you are), just be considerate.
Juliet, Theres only one problem….the BRV cannot tow a trailer. its not rated to have a towbar fitted. Towbars is not available for BRV, New HRV, Amaze WRV none of them
That’s what Honda told me, but apparently you can use a roofbox as an alternative.
Will definitely like to see more about build quality in your videos, quality of sheet metal, paint, suspension

seems like they’re trying to upmarket this car a lot with that price, cool features and all but i don’t think it’s very useful to have all these cool features if the car can’t get up a hill with people in it or be efficient while loaded up at nearly 500k when the entire car market is your oyster at that price

I'm a huge fan and have been for years, love your presentation style! But since you asked for our suggestions:
- Longer vids please!
- More swearing and more jokes!
- I personally would like it if you were better prepared and studied up before filming with the details of features and the engines. You have a habit of brushing over those by saying things like, "it has this one thing and all of that kind of stuff". I would prefer it if you actually told us what all that stuff is and in general if you gave us more detailed information because as it is, we now have to go find and watch a review of the same car by someone else, to get that same information that you could be providing. Tbh I'm surprised that the manufacturers have not already had an issue with that aspect of your reviews.
- As others have said, I'd love to see more detailed exterior shots with your commentary
- I'd love it if you could add one or two more cameras to your arsenal to record exterior shots and maybe an additional interior angle. Most car reviewers are doing that now and I think it's a really exciting innovation.
I still think you're one of the most entertaining reviewers and I'll remain a massive fan even if you don't change a thing!

Do features with Cirro ,Ernest and other car journalists. Then maybe do track days will be nice to see how car handles from not track enthusiasts

Hi Juliet. First off, I love your videos. I don't want to go on a tangent here, but South African car reviews are all much the same. Always new cars, always top of the range (mostly) and f$#@ing expensive. Why don't RSA journos do videos on secondhand cars? Or some people don't want double cab bakkies, but there will never be a video comparing single cabs...if you catch my drift. (I know you tested the Isuzu extended cab) Just my opinion though.

No point asking it to “change” as a CVT doesn’t have gears so it won’t ever change. It can’t.
Really it should be a 1.5ℓ turbo OR a 2ℓ naturally aspirated engine. It’s far too underpowered to be moving 7 people around in. Also, a torque converter gearbox should be used instead of a CVT.
I disagree with the review because I am happy that I will buy a fully loaded top of the line trim of the 2023 Honda B-RV anyway.

Love the videos. All good and funny and honest. Seems like all manufactures are going for these baby engines with no power. Why would you spend 500k on a SUV that only "sort of" goes on the high way. And the smaller engine makes them heavier on fuel, if you want to drive like a normal person. I will much rather stick with my 2013, 7 seater 2.4 Diesel that has 500 Nm, than spending money on a new under powered vehicle and I know of a lot of people that feel the same way. It seems like the manufactures has stopped listening to what the clients actually like and want. Just my opinion.
We'd like to see you curse out more drivers, pedestrians and cyclists. Yes, definitely cyclists!
