1:53 After all of these years and all of the times I watch this scene, I always feel a hollow place where it was my heart. The best ending for the best show.
I was looking for a comment like this, as when i was watching the ending monologue it made me realize just how much the show really did mean to me. Hell, it was honestly just the beginning of seeing my childhood become just that. My childhood, first Gravity falls finished, then came regular show, and to put a cherry on top. Adventure time, by the time all of them had ended, I was already at a state where i wasn't even watching tv anymore (CZcams, Netflix, anime seven seas, you get the idea) but when each of these shows reached their timely end. I felt a part of me not necessarily die, but rather... Grow colder. As if even I myself knew that I had finally encountered the first realization of the idea that I'm growing up, that time is passing and the things i grew up with will now live set in stone. One day, I'll acquire each of the 3 shows complete media and watch them all. Start to finish, just to make that inner child proud.
Fun fact, there is a deleted scene where Dipper literally snaps Dippy Fresh’s neck. So they’re allowing what happened to Pacifica’s dad, but they’re not allowing a simple broken neck. Disney logic everyone!
