Charlie AND Liz had actually helped with Ben's terrors along with Kenzie, they just only aired the ones with Kenzie. Had Charlie won, we likely would've gotten clips with Charlie.
Yeah reading exit press made me realise that was a bit of a blunder on my end...even in the finale they did show one scene of Charlie helping Ben. Always good to remember just how edited Survivor is!

I really hated the pre merge of this season as it was happening, but I think I can appreciate it more now. The slow build up of the fractures within Nami really paid off. Plus you could see hints of all the characters. Too bad Bhanu had to take up so much screen time early on
It certainly has its weak moments. Some season of Survivor are amazing week by week and others benefit from a binge watch style, and I think 46 is the latter. Especially if you know what happens and things like "Mermaid Dragon" make a lot more sense!

They need to know their place! There can be only one Survivor prediction whiz per household, use your mantle wisely.
6:30 as someone who's run a game with 4 tribes before, it would not fix it, even without the loss of flint. sit outs means that the losing tribes are more exhausted than winning tribes, and the amount of sit outs grows exponentially with an increase in the number of tribes.
A very good analysis and point. Do you think two tribes might fix it? I just want a season without a massively dominating tribe...
@@HenryHickmanSurvivor only if they are properly balanced, which is easier in two tribes, and there is no 'lose your flint' aspect (if there is, an Ulonging may happen).
also, I think two tribes may happened in a near season, since Dee called out Jeff for his reasoning on why they have three tribes on his podcast.
@@cblazerc I'm hopeful! I used to hate always having two tribes and now I'm sick of three...variety truly is the spice of life!

Pretty good predictions for a pretty good season! I certainly did not predict this season, though Maria was my winner pick after episode one which... I could have guessed worse. At least they gave the real winner a decent edit.
After episode 1 I had Charlie or Ben as my winner pick...so close yet so far...but I loved Kenzie as a winner! One day we'll get a social winner without a controversial win...
Congrats on the double bingo. BTW did you see the post someone made tracking how successful each 46 contestant was at taking out their target each round? It showed that Kenzie actually had a good track record of removing her primary or tertiary targets, especially in the hellish premerge she had (where if she had failed to take out her target, she would've been next to go). I think that would help in your next AI predictor, since that is something that is heavily edited (they wouldn't show a contestant targeting another contestant if it wasn't relevant to the season's storyline).
Yes I saw target tracker on Reddit! I think you're right about it being a useful prediction tool. I'd love if during the off-season they made one for earlier seasons as well (although it seems like a massive effort so I could understand why they may not!) The heavy editing route will probably be what I do next season, as finding trends that are placed on purpose by editors is probably more feasible.
@@HenryHickmanSurvivor : The other thing is that ironically, everyone who voted out their number 1 on this season ended up getting voted out, or losing the game. So much for "Resume".
The Yanu stacking fail was a cheat space as it was shown in the promo at the end of Episode 1. Tsk tsk. ;)
I agree that you just about got Ben and Charlie being like JT and Stephen, though. They were an inseparable duo who were close throughout and both made it to the end.
Whoops! I try not to watch previews to avoid spoilers so I missed that one, but a good call out!
I'd love to see either Ben or Charlie (or both) come back, both very fun characters that make a great duo.
Do you think Jess would have fared better on a 2 tribe season like David Wright?
Small tribes just leave to little room for any player that isn’t performing, like the next weakest player after Jess is probably Kenzie which is clearly an option that Tiffany and Q were not entertaining
I think it's possible, barring Ulong I can't think of a big one tribe decimation.
Also two tribes means Jess has four extra people to either click with or hide behind, which is always useful.
Honestly, I think Jess was struggling regardless, the game clearly hit her hard, but the stars aligning? Anything is possible!
