Super Robot Taisen 64 - Final Fight

  • The final battle with Avi-Ru, Jye-Ren and Val-Ah. The three bosses start at 130 morale so they have early access to their strongest attack. As there are no grunts in this stage, the only way to win would be to send out units that can raise morale on their own or have very high damaging weapons which do not require morale.
    After beating all 3, they revive again and they have to be beaten one more time in order to complete the stage and the game.

    If they ever do get the rights to the 64 originals back, a simple way to use them (at least the protagonist ones) is to have them be developed in the OGverse as Mk1 mechs to the accelerated development of the Mk2 (Advance/A Portable) series from the Shadow Mirror world.

      Why not have them as part of ZEXIS dimmension for when Terada finally bows down to fan demand and gets Z into OG?

      If only that were simple. What happened is when they ask for 64 original designs for A they were denied.

    @CreepyGreenMonster It has many other route splits which leads to many different missions. But the ending and major boss fights are still the same.

    @BradRy2 Well the basic designs of the Main character mechs were reused for SRW A. That and This was one of those side games that gets put on a system when Terada couldn't be bothered to make an Alpha-tier game for it. Though I think this was made around the PSX era.

    Question, what's exactly the plot of this game? Cause I can't really read Japanese...

    • @serenemountain6769
      @serenemountain6769 Před 5 lety +2

      You have the main story line of the game that consists on the Super Robot Taisen 1 to 5 , the 4th isnt translated yet ....
      Then you have the Originals Story Line
      Then the Paralel Worlds Story Line ( Paralel Universes of the Main Story Line, the What Ifs ) like A,Z,J etc etc etc
      This game falls in the Paralel Worlds story line, the plot consists of a Paralel World where a Group like the Londo Bell called Shadow Mirror Rules the Universe, they soon got bored because they basically conquered everything,
      so they develop a way to travel to other Paralel Universes,
      after their inicial troops got crushed because of not being on their home turf, they try to conquerer it from within,
      by inflitrating the native organizations and make then kill each other off, like a divide and conquer game ...
      The Heroes are always oblivious to whats really happening in the shadows,
      untill they twart enough of the shadow mirror plans, and force then out for a frontal conflict ...
      The Shadow Mirror is invading many Paralel Worlds, Like Super Robot Taisen A ( A Portable is fully translated to english have a whack)

  • @Fishman465
    @Fishman465 Před 11 lety

    they'd have to re-arrange things, though I feel it's not likely as A basically has MkII of the original mechs.

    Not so sure about that, I think it's more most of the licenses in this are rather obscure or being done by more recent games. For one I don't think Banpresto could get their hands on Giant Robo's license again easily if at all.

    @BradRy2 Apparently, Banpresto worked with another company to develop this game (Hudson?), so they co-own the property. It's why we haven't seen a remake and why the 64 originals can't appear in OG. Banpresto doesn't want to pony up the cash to secure the rights from the other company.

      There won't be a remake; they couldn't use the Super Robot Taisen 64 Originals in Super Robot Taisen A because of some copyright problems so they had to make similar looking ones. You're not gonna see a remake of this any time ever.
