You don't need to put very many points in Jump. The pots from Marketplace are CL 3, and at level 5 you at +2 to caster level making them effectively Jump +20 pots.
I ran this build I think one or two lives ago. I used the old version (swf), and I was disappointed with the damage output in R1. Glad you made this one work!
Looks like a fun build :) I tend to make my own artificers more defensive & support focus so I prefer tier 5 in mastermaker then destiny-wise I'll go for shadowdancer since it gets that full 10 melee power each tier, instakills...between the automatic shield proc, the triggered one for the party & meld into darkness plus your repair aura constantly ticking you can be incredibly hard to kill.
@@Rood67The original one I had was a while back before some of the new additions unfortunately. But i'm levelling another at the moment, a dwarf, and the rough plan is to go SWF & warhammers, taking knight's training for a boost there & the construct body ones too. Metamagic wise I'll be taking maximise, empower, empower healing, quicken & accelerate. For enhancements, it'll be primarily mastermaker, a little in harper to get int to hit then spell for damage & i'm going to put a chunk into illusionist too, at least the minimum to get colour spray. It won't be a super powerful offensive build but should have some solid crowd control & support capabilities.
Holy Cow... I thought I was the only one that can't stand the Click Click Click of the repeater crossbows. I mean, it is borderline torture. We did an "Arti Party" once and I just played with the sound off. 4 arti's all click click clicking away. hahahhahha.
With Macrotech, would you still run this as pure 20 Arty or would you consider something else? I assume SWF/TWF together wouldn't really be an option (unless taken late in epic, maybe with an extra tome sitting around). How would this work with a Dwarf and D. Axe? (Construct body) Finally, with Macrotech, would your feats change? With decent Rune Arm damage, epic including Maximize and Empower also work with Tactical Detonation. I assume Dragon Lord or some of the Sunder triggers do not (always?) interact perfectly with Arty "sunder effect".
I've been trying to single weapon fighting version of this build in the linked guide and enjoying it so far, but I'm wanting to try the two handed version in this video and I've got a question about how to build it. I need to start with a 15 Strength to boost up to the 17 needed for the two handed feats. The linked guide only has a 13 strength build, so what do I lower to get the extra points for Strength?
Here, check this link for a quick loot at the tool tip: ddowiki.com/images/thumb/The_Dragon_Keeper_description.png/420px-The_Dragon_Keeper_description.png The tooltip indicates that the damage is based on Charge tier as well as artificer level, as it uses that in the formula. Every single rune arm uses this notation in the tool tip and can be verified through testing.
@@Strimtom oh yea, always thought that it was low damage compared to the base damage, with how slow it fills it seemed better to just spam tier 1-2 and the bonus level damage was pretty inconsequential. I think mostly it was that at low levels the extra damage to every bolt on a repeating xbows far outstrip the rune arm damage since you have low level and low melee/ranged power, so you just don't waste the time using the rune arm, so by the time the rune arm does anything close to decent damage you have just gotten used to not using it.
I'm up to level 10, and realized that I am not doing damage with intelligence. I believe I need to get strategic combat II. But in your picture of your enhancement tree, this is not selected. Is there another way to do this? Thanks

Love me some good warforged builds and some pop culture references, so definitely will try this out

I already tested this Build with Bastard Sword. It really looks very good, even without all the proposed equipment

new build with Machrotech soon?
Don't recall anything saying rune arm damage based on artificer levels. I thought it was strictly the level of the rune arm and spell power.

Yes, you cast the spell insightful damage. It is a level 3 spell.

As a long-time X series fan... I'm doing this lol
Pretty sure X only uses the sword in MMX 6. A Zero build however is closer to what this is.
The problem is Zero doesn't change his buster, so X was my only choice. It's too bad he didn't get to keep a copy of the saber.
@@Strimtom Let me introduce you to Mega man x 3.

Did this change it says on the runorm that it scales off of melee and arranged power
The added damage to melee and ranged attacks scale off melee and ranged power, the actual blast is spellpower
Have you done any indepth guides to sentient weapons?
I don't have a guide. If this comment gets likes I'll make one. Or if people really want it. Both are good metrics

Nice
I just hate the runearm animation ... why does it have to be cocked when charging? Just looks dumb
When is the next hard core sever up?
Bladeforged?
Warforged is better for this build since you don't need the reconstruct from the tree, and pure artificer is better than 19 artificer/1 paladin
Woot, im the 1000th view!
Now I almost want to play a warforged again. Almost.
