This is a beautiful version of a beautiful song written by Todd Rundgren.
One of the most under rated female singers to come out the UK love this version of the Todd hit.
Not really - I remember on the UK version of the TV series Solid Soul (can't remember the name of the show - back in the 80's) that when she was being introduced the presenter remarked that Jaki had been voted Best Female vocalist in the UK!

I think Todds drummer Willie Wilcox had something to do with the writing of Todds hit

One of many 1985 songs that remind me of my first love, Kirsty. A week long holiday romance that we agreed, because we lived so far apart, we would just have a laugh & didnt plan on staying in touch. By the end of the week we were so in love, I'd never been in love before & it broke both our hearts splitting up on our final night together. I never spoke to anyone about her. Kept it to myself & only recently I have been told I must talk openly about it as it has badly scarred me mentally, over the last 38 years. Thanks for sharing.
