wooooow, what a great cover. This song is definetly my favourite from Parahesia and you nailed it without even using many plugins or effects. I was surprised that you managed to pull off the breakdown sound using the slide on the start and then bend and not a whammy bar. I don't know how Tosin plays it but your take looks interesting, loved the cover, thank you for you hard work and sharing tabs aswell!

Man you're amazing!!! The amount of technique you have is insane. I would like to improve that selective picking and to be more clean with the left hand, what can you tell to a noob like me?
1st of all, thanks for the kind words! I don't really think you're a "noob". You definitely have some playing in you, and you just gotta let that flow out. To develop a new technique or to improve a weakness in your playing, you need to have a plan, stick to it and put it into practice.
To get clearer playing, you need to study your phrasing with a metronome. It is vital to study each and every subdivision you fancy playing with the presence of the click so that you understand the basic accent of those rhythmic figures. It is also good to have some backing track grooving in loops so that you can dig yourself in.
As for the economy picking technique, it has much to do with legato playing and how good you are at it, so I would advise you to get your legato in check before jumping into economy picking. It will save you some time and avoid frustration. As the name suggests, you pick much less than usual, and that's thanks to your left hand doing most of the hard work, so get that spot on first.
Last but not least: record yourself playing. It presents a huge impact in the way you see things and in your critical thinking towards your own playing. I got to understand a lot about myself, my strengths and weaknesses, what I needed to invest more time practising and to put more attention to once I started watching myself play the pieces of music I picked up to cover, and as I said, it was a game changing factor in my opinion.
