I’ve never seen someone so gracefully breeze through Margit and Godrick and then crumble to Ancestor Spirit lol, good job my guy
It happened to me with Godskin Duo, I literally struggled against them more than i did with Malenia, it’s weird and i still don’t know why i had a hard time with that boss more than effing Malenia 😂
@@igoonx15Godskin Duo is tough so can't blame you there

Spoilers dudes.
No not really, this place is a bit higher than liurnia and half of caelid

Also Davo: *Skips the explanation*
Davo: "What did I pick up?"

I hate people that do this, it always seems intentional. How are you going to skip a tutorial pop up that literally tells you what you want to know multiple times and then just be confused? I’ve seen people that play elden ring do this and then be upset about the game not explaining things like you are the one not reading 😭.
@@Coran_06 a lot of times people are just used to trying to get shit off their screen because when you pick up an item its often in the midst of danger so its just reflex
@@jm6406 I get that sometimes but he’s seen these popups earlier in the game before and it pauses the game anyways for you to read. Also this wasn’t a scenario of danger so he shouldn’t have been mashing through it idk.
@@Coran_06to be fair, he is recording and trying to constantly speak so it would probably make him forget some things due to multitasking
That dragonkin soldier boss is a really good example of how not using the lock-on for some bosses can be really useful. If you’re having trouble hitting a boss like that, just don’t lock on and aim your attacks with the left stick.
Bro let me warn you a bit, if you constantly keep running past all the enemies instead of killing them you're gonna have a tough time later because you aren't levelling up enough, you need to be collecting runes, you're also running past A LOT of hidden items and content
I’ll try to stop doing that 😭
@@davobands Ya really don't need to worry about it, the game is designed around literally just boss rewards would keep you reasonably leveled.
Like, you'll miss cool stuff but it's literally almost impossible to get everything blind anyway and I'm sure comments won't let you hear the end of it if you miss something really important
Από όλα τα μέρη δεν περίμενα ποτέ ότι θα σε δω να κάνεις σχόλιο εδώ αχαχαχαχχα
Quick tip, ive noticed you run past items or dont pick up loot from enemies, when you probably should. Crafting materials and dropped equipment from enemies can be super useful.
Also, almost every merchant sells a Note, which when bought gives tips or info on special items or mechanics, so definitely buy those.
Also also, there is a difference between slashing, pierce and strike damage, some enemies are hella tough to kill with slashing, where as a strike weapon, like a mace, demolishes them. Same goes with other resistances, so just, keep that in mind ig.
Im just gonna edit this comment rather than make a new one. When you were fighting the dragonkin, you locked onto its leg the entire fight, you can change where you lock on, on pc it's by scrolling dunno bout controller, but also, some fights might be easier when you are NOT locked onto the enemy, and just free aim your hits.
Also you're doing jump attacks kinda wrong, use a heavy attack there.
Last tip, in your inventory, i think in the last tab, the game keeps all tutorial mesaages as items, so read through those again if you're confuses by a mechanic
This. He might not be aware hes got an infinite inventory

reading the comments is ight you’ll find good info but don’t try to please everyone. i don’t even see the need to go back to stromveil if you don’t want to man do your thing. this is your playthrough not everyone else’s. true fans will continue to support no matter what ! great video bro
I actually really appreciate this advice man thank you
@davobands Yeah man go at your own pace, going to the beastial sanctum can be helpful but is irrelevant to the main games story so you don’t gotta worry about it.👍
Definitely. 100%ing the game the first play through isn’t necessary, just have fun discovering whatever you can!

My man, don't be discouraged from summoning ashes. My philosophy is this- if I start to suffer and stop enjoying the game, then I'll summon, because I'm not perfect and no one really is, and besides, it's kinda strange to care what others will think about me at my age lol.
problem with ashes is that you don't git gud, you rely on them and you don't learn how to play the game, thats just a bit dumb
@@bmaxime8771 you DO learn with ashes, though. It’s literally a part of the game’s RPG mechanics.
Elden Ring is ‘Action’ and ‘RPG’… meaning if you’re struggling to “git gud”, then you have to utilise the Game’s RPG systems to beat the game. Hence why it’s ‘Action’ and ‘RPG’
@@bmaxime8771There are a million players who are already "gud" that we can go watch. I just wanna see this guy explore the game and react to it, not bash his face against it for hours at a time and lose all his passion because he's too scared to play it his own way.
@@bmaxime8771 so basically "hrrr drr you dont git gud and learn how to play cause you rely on summons" bruh summons are apart of the game what a clown
@@1NotN its true though, not my fault you s*ck xD

You can find rune arcs in some merchant shops, scattered throughout the world, there are a few for sale at roundtable hold, and you can infinitely farm them by invading other players and killing them :D
also helping them beat bosses? dang bro you woke up and chose violence first LOL
The Marika's Scarseal increases your stats related to mage builds (Mind, Faith, Int and Arcane). There's also a version based on melee builds (Vigor, Endurance, Strength and Dex), which is very useful for you. These talismans only makes you take 10% more damage while getting +3 in every of those stats, which is equal to 12 levels. And you get Great Runes from the important bosses, like Godrick, the one you killed
Please never give up on this series, it is so good! And thank you for actually taking the comments suggestions.
To farm rune arcs, a way is invading players and killing the host, or you can be summoned by the host to help them beat the area's boss, which also gets you a rune arc, or killing an invading player as a hunter works too.
The giant rats have a very rare chance of dropping them too.
Merchants also can sell them, like the Twin Maiden Husks in The Roundtable.
Don't get spoiled too much from the viewers telling you to do certain things, I think it would be more interesting for you to discover and find things on your own.
Im of the opinion that viewers should only explain the things that the player has already experienced and maybe needs an explanation, but never get ahead of the player's natural route through the game
well said
its fine if he went through an area and missed something.
@@olaf8778 Pretty sure they mean him being told where the portal behind 3rd marika church is, because if you progress normally there's a "hint" that'll point you straight there, and by the time you find this "hint" you might actually have something to do at the place
Seeing the feeling of accomplishment after beating dragonkin is so nice I love your vids
That feeling is amazing. 🤩
Just so you know, theres an entire section of Limgrave right before entering Stormveil which you've seen to miss, it has a lot of important beginners items which you're kinda crippling yourself by not getting 😭
Babe wake up, new Davobands Elden Ring video dropped
LETS GO been waiting for another episode brother, this is easily the most entertaining elden ring series ive watched.. Keep it up 👍 💯
Also, use your shield, find a shield that deflects 100 physical damage and u won't take any damage while holding it up
I mean that’s one place style but it’s definitely not necessary
Nah..that's just playstyle preference. I didn't even use any shield primarily on my 1st playthrough except when i was parrying using small shield, just got good enough at dodge rolling timing over time. It took quite a while to be comfortable, but it's totally worth it for me
Thanks for the tip brother
@@davobands not really a tip but a playstyle preference, I personally hate playing with shields but you can try it out
YESSS i was waiting for this, love the serie and eager to see you face the later big boss
I would recommend buying the cookbooks from the merchants for when you’re interested in item crafting.
Also, everyone has to look things up in this game. It doesn’t tell you anything, just drops you in the world and says “figure it out.”
I mean, it doesn't tell you NOTHING, but it's usually rather cryptic.
This game is unreal. I had seen much of the over-world by the time I first stumbled upon Siofra. I was like “there’s more!?” The fact that the game developers put so much time and effort into something completely missable is insane to me. And the fact that this isn’t even the only example like this is even crazier.
That Bestial Sanctum NPC doesn't do anything until you talk to this other NPC that has a peculiar golden set of armor. If you do start that quest it becomes a treasure hunt with some interesting rewards.
It always makes my day when you upload. Also, going down the Siofra river well lift for the first time and seeing a beautiful wide open underground area has to be one of the coolest moments in gaming, for me at least, so I love watching other people experience it for the first time
I absolutely love your content man! Keep up the awesome work
Bro you are underrated, first youtuber I've subbed to in a long time.
He’s back 🕺
There’s so much peak in store for you gang, I been replaying the game too after 2 years. DLC gonna be crazy too.
Im deadass enjoying this series so bad, keep it up bro
A major advice that would give is: PATIENCE.
Don't rush a fight, watch the moves, learn, breath, attack when you see a opening, repeat. I know it's easier said than done, but this is going to get you far.
And don't worry, at your level, Siofra is a spike in difficulty.
The rats drop rune arcs sometimes.
Your editing is mad entertaining
I honestly love your videos dude! Never stop making them!!
A couple of tips;
1) You can level up your summons.
2) The only way to farm Rune Arks is to *invade*
*Edit*
You can also be summoned in as a co-op player and help the host beat a boss.
...or play normal PvE multiplayer and help the host kill a boss.
You can actually farm giant rats to get them
1st tip bad, dont neеd, tip for noobs
2) The only way to farm Rune Arks is to invade - This is incorrect. You can farm killing rats as they drop rune arcs and golden runes. Just like how they drop humanity in dark souls 1.
@husleman yes I know. I'm just trying to encourage the pvp aspect of the game
I'm so glad I subscribed to your channel, dude. You get me through my crappy job.
honestly bro you deserve so much more subscribers and views. your videos have been so fun and entertaining to watch.
I appreciate that!
I love the little edits on this video, they crack me up😂
Amazing stuff! Cant wait to see more
Yet another amazing video. Thank you.
Do not be afraid of trying new weapons, especially in the beginning. Most weapons have different attacks so try different types and pick the one with the moveset that has the best feeling. Love the videos man, keep going!!
i absolutely loved the vid bro keep it up🔥
We back baby. thanks for giving me something to watch today
Bro your content is so good bro, you deserve more subs
Oooooooo yaaaahh I was waiting for this. Keep up the great vids pls.
That Dragonkin Soldier drops one of the best weapons you could get till late-game, and even then it still packs quite a punch, especially with anywhere with a lot of water and/or rain like Liurnia and Dragonbarrow, or any swamp really. Oh and on really big bosses locking onto them can actually make it harder than free-aiming with the sticks as a melee build.
The Intro is already a banger😂❤
Love these videos can't wait for the next one . I know I said this before on a previous video, but for one the key story lines back where the father of the blind girl sat in the castle there should be an item
Video just dropped an hour ago, I log on and see you out with another banger. Congrats man.
You get great runes by killing demigods, those are powerful bosses at the end of major areas, Godrick is one of them. After you defeat a demigod you need to go to the divine tower of that area to activate the great rune. Godrick’s great rune is considered the best in the game, it increases all of your stats by 5
As a long time souls fan, and Elden Ring of course, it warms my heart seeing how excited you get from killing bosses for the first time and seeing new locations. Funny af to!
I legit get excited whenever I see you upload, and that don't really happen to any other creator.
You better hurry up and make another one! i can binge this all day.
Hell yeah! New vid from Davo less goooo
I'm glad you are having a good time with this game. Just remember to not let people's opinions make you not have fun. So many people rely on looking things up in this game, there are many wiki and pdf that help. Nothing is common knowledge in these games. Don't feel bad for using spirits in this game either. It's a core fundamental in the game and not everyone is looking for the extra challenge. But really fun to watch I can't wait to see more!
In the beast sanctum you can trade deathroots for spells. You find deathroots in major dungeons and there are 3 in Limgrave so just explore a little and come back to him
Once again great video ❤
keep it up my guy, love ur videos
Most underated youtuber 🙏 bro should have a million subs
Let’s go!
You don’t have to fight that right now 😂
The Demi humans are a decent summons with certain bosses, at night(eyes will be red) and leveled up
The great runes tell you which tower you need to visit to activate it
The gold pickled fowl foot gives you a percentage of extra runes when you kill an enemy, they only last a short time so try to wait until your close to killing them, try to save for bigger bosses for a better payout.
yeah so when you go to farm those rats at castle morn, use the gold pickled fowl foot for extra runes anyways, also i think some of the npc's sell the rune arcs too
I like your hat!
Also, faith builds use seals like the godslayer seal you got at stormveil, not staffs. The blackflame prayerbook in the chest next to it can be given to some NPCs like Cohryn (in the roundtable hold) who will then sell you some blackflame incantations, which are very powerful.
Yes a new video!! Please don’t forget to go to the Forelorn Hound Evergaol in the southern part of Limgrave. Do the boss battle and get one of the best weapons in the game, Bloodhound’s Fang! 🙏💪
I found your channel through CZcams recommendation and I’m so glad I did. Love your content as a fromsoftware fan myself I’m so glad you’re enjoying the game. I highly suggest once you finish it you try out Bloodborne, which in my opinion is the best out of the entire fromsoft library. I will give one tip. Try your best to find the talismans that heal your health and your FP after every kill it comes in handy. One of them is in the first area of the game.
Cant wait u finishil this game and become the elden lord . Keep playing and enjoy this game
Just keep going I love these
41:05 Yeah... No one ever really "agrees" to go to Caelid... but we're all gonna have to eventually.
I missed you bro
Keep em coming
My best advice for killing enemies cause I’m seeing people point out you running past them is kill every new enemy at least once. We all run past people we’ve killed but at least kill all new foes once (if you can) cause you don’t wanna be under leveled in the second half of the game.
babe wake up, davobands postet a new elden ring videoooo!!!🤩🤩🤩🤩
Welcome back elden lord
Siofra River is a bit tougher than Limgrave, good job on Ancestor Spirit and Dragonkin! One comment you made during the first fight did remind me of something. If you notice your spirits ashes starting to seem weaker, that's because they can be upgraded, so unupgraded spirit ashes will start to perform worse as you get into harder areas of the game.
The character who handles this is in the shack along the path leading up to Stormveil, but you have to progress her questline a bit. She needs a certain item that you'll find on one of the side paths in Stormveil Castle. After you give it to her, she'll move to the Roundtable Hold. You'll be able to figure it out from there.
Unfortunately there aren't many good ways to farm rune arcs other than helping other players in co-op or invading other worlds for PvP. Some merchants sell them, a limited number are scattered around the map, and they have a low chance to drop from killing giant rats, but that's about it.
Lastly, the seal you picked up in Stormveil is a class of weapon used for casting incantations, which are spells that mostly rely on Faith to use. If you go a little further down that tunnel you found it in, there's a matching prayerbook to pick up. Prayerbooks can be given to either the Brother Corhyn in the Roundtable Hold, or to another character you'll meet later to unlock new incantations.
That's all I can think of at the moment. Great vid as always, can definitely see the improvement with your gameplay! Hope this info helps.
As far as I know, it is pronounced sheef-RAH
Also, that gargoyle you attempted to fight, is literally the strongest version of the gargoyles in the entire game haha
I’m glad you picked up the samurai as your first class, it’s a really powerful class and good for new comers.
to save yourself from looking up too much stuff, you can check the item descriptions, those help a lot with navigating the game. love the content btw, keep it up
A fun Ash Of War I like is Flaming Strike, it creates a short range horizontal line of fire in front of you,
But the cool part is if you do a heavy strike into it, your sword catches fire for a little while.
Paired with a weapon that has a default build up (bleed, poison, etc.) its useful to add fire as well
you can also level up your summons at the roundtable. early in the game you talked to a girl in a shed with a red a hood and she gives you a jellyfish summon. when shes at the roundtable, you can upgrade your summons after a few steps involving her
The quest continues, let’s get it!!!
Wooohooo New video babyyy
You should go to those blue circles on the map;)
Also you need to try the dragon halberd is a fun weapon
The merchant in the soifrq River sell something called a larval tear that lets you respect once you beat Renalla.
Also you can get another katana from the death touched catacombs in limgeave. Which allows you to power stance them.
you can find great some rune arcs from randomly exploring places but its mainly from multiplayer PVP or PVE
Wake up babe. New devo vid dropped.
If you want a good summon, go back to the weeping peninsula, where you fought the tree avatar and look for a catacomb on the hill that the tree stands on, the easiest way to find it is to go to the grace in the church right in front of the tree (or above it, if you look at the map), exit and go straight toward the tree, don't follow the path, just go straight, you'll find the catacomb along the wall
A tip to boost your enjoyment even more is to read the remembrances that you get, its a great way to understand the lore
Make sure to remember that Faith is used for incantations and not sorceries. That means you need a seal to cast incantations and not a staff. You already have a seal: the godslayer seal you got in stormveil castle.
The godslayer seal you got is used to cast incantations (faith spells), you just need some incantations which you can buy in the roundtable hold
There are some rune arcs from the twin sisters - the merchant at the round table hold - and, as many people mentioned, at some of the merchants and in random places around the world. Unironically you can also farm them from freaking RATS. One of the best places is at castle Morne: there's the grace at the island before the boss (not the boss grace, the one after you go down the tower), that is close by a room with four rats where you fell off to get there, you can use that spot for rune arc farming. They are not that common though, so it takes a lot of ratatouille to accumulate a decent amount. Also, another suggestion since you are starting to suffer with damage taken and received: keep in mind your damage scales with your weapon a lot faster than with skill points, so it is important to not forget to level up your weapon and to use a significant part of the skill points you get from your character levels on vigor rather than damage stats, so you don't get one shot by the next bosses you will find (hence the "level vigor" meme: because it works!).
jellyfish is one of my favorite summons, its ranged, tanky, does a suprising amount of poise damage and can also poison the boss
You can also find more of those rune arcs for the great tune out in the open world sometimes but to get a lot you can farm co-op online and get summoned to other players worlds and help them with bosses to get a bunch over time. Your godrick rune increases all stats by 5 points and can be useful for meeting weapon or spell stat requirements
*picks up item* > *gets a detailed tutorial description of what said item is* > *skips the information* > Davo: i have no idea what that is.
TOO FUNNY
Da BOI has posted AGAIN
Another great video!
Tho ive seen you run past some of the enemies wayyy to often. You don't have to fight all of them but you should fight and kill a new enemy atleast once, some have surprisingly good movesets
I think before you move on from Limgrave you should focus on meeting all the NPC's!
Without spoilers there are:
-Someone camping south of where you stated the game
-Three NPC's on the path east in Stormhill (east from the castle entrance)
-A strange noise in a ruins near Soifra entrance
-The guy you rescued from the tree told you about a cave near the beach!
-Quite a few people have returned to Round Table
A good way to know if an enemy has dropped an item is seeing a white mist / particle effect emit from them once defeated, that indicates that they've dropped something.
The simplest way to farm rune arcs is to do multiplayer and help other players fight bosses
(use the yellow stick thing in your inventory)
If you are gonna go faith you should look for a seal instead of a staff. Staff is for intelligence builds. You can look up a seal you'd like or there's a decent but basic one that some merchants sell early on, I forget which sell them tho
The Godslayer Seal you picked up is pretty good
11:25 you can acquire an Unsheathe Ash of War in the south-eastern part of Agheel Lake back in Limgrave. That lets you keep the skill on your Uchigatana while changing the scaling (or it lets you put Unsheathe on a different katana that doesn't have Unsheathe by default). Might not matter much now, but later in the game Keen will help your weapon scale much better with Dex.
BRUH you already have the Faith magic item. The Godslayer Seal you got is one of them. Hope you also grabbed the black flame incantation when you got the seal, cause that's a nice spell that matches the item.
that ash of war you got (square off) is basically the unsheathe of short swords if you ever wanted to try them
You can use the Crucifix of Marika (the multiplayer thingy you were wary to activate) to farm rune arcs. Every one you activate once let you level your summon sing with an item (in the multiplayer menu) everyone you have activated at once so you have a greater chance to be summoned. If you help the host kill invaders or the boss area you get a rune arc.
