Thanks for the two informative uploads on leech therapy. You're one of a few. Could I inquire as to where you bought the leeches and learned about the protocal? Referral links or mention. Ty.
A medicinal leech company out of Denver... and I had to piece togather the technique from all the places I could find it... its such a simple process, the guys who practice in the US don't like to give much away
I didn't do it well, but the turmeric makes the leeches throw up the blood so that they are ready to be used again alot quicker(the Ayurvedic practicioners also say that it cleanses the leaches of the toxins that they ingested).... in the video I only put the turmeric on a portion of the leeches and they were hesitant to release the blood,,,,,, in subsequent attempts I found that when I roll the whole leech in the turmeric, they vomited the blood easily, then I rinsed them off and they were as good as new..... Thanks for watching!
I dont remember... there's a few places that pop up when you search 'medicinal leeches for sale'.... pretty sure they're all good,,, I just picked the best deal
Hi! I've heard that you can only use the leech once for medicinal purposes and then you have to dispose them humanely once they completed their first "feeding". Where did you get the information that you can reuse them after making them vomit with the turmeric and salt?? I'm really interested, thanks!
Only the commercial places dispose of them after each use... in Indian Aryuvedic medicine (not sure if I spelled that right) reusing them is common practice...
@@thewell-roundednovice8852 I've heard that Indian Ayurvedic Medicine reuses them also but wasn't completely sure which was the safest option. I've heard that they use the turmeric to make them vomit as well and that they reuse them after 3 - 4 months when they have already fed. I'd love to reuse them though.
I was engaged listening to you talk and looking at your hands and the leeches. I felt relaxed listening to you talk. Thank you
Well I learn something from you again thanks for sharing 👍🏿
Going to be interesting!
Hmmm I’m going to have to do some more research. Love it keep the content coming!
Definately interesting stuff.... creepy little suckers though!

@@MOB415Sf if you're reusing them on the same patient, there is no downside at all.... the US places don't want to keep each person's leeches around
@@thewell-roundednovice8852 That makes sense! Thanks so much for replying back, I appreciate it!
