I’ve heard Joe say some outrageous stuff but doubling child support is the craziest thing he’s ever said I live below the poverty line after I pay my child support and I’m not complaining about that I make it work but if you doubled it I would have to get a second job just to pay it not to live to pay my child support
Years ago I made $17 an hour working construction. After taxes and child support support for one child,I brought home just a tad over $200. I would love to see either of these fucks make that work. I couldn’t afford gas to get to freaking work🤬

That’s legit insane. Child support needs to be completely overhauled and reduced. It’s crazy. I have my daughter 3 days less a month than her mom and I have to pay %30 of my gross wages. For 3 days.

I used to drink 4-5 cans of coke a day. I went cold turkey and stayed off of it. During that period I did have a few dreams about drinking an ice cold coke.

well taste is subjective. I think people are just used to sugar as a sweetener so they are put off by other sweet taste and think its "fake" or "artificial". There's several different sweeteners, and they all got their own taste. The scientific litterature on the dangers of extensive sugar intake is really big and well documented, and almost everything from sauces to meat to frozen pizzas got sugar in it. so reducing the intake of sugar from any sources could be really good for many people. And most of the other sweeteners contains no energy so you can use it without being concerned about your weight, while sugar is pure energy so if you dont use that energy it will get stored as fat.
It’s like beer. An acquired taste. Diet Coke and Diet Pepsi are definitely on the bottom tho.

Coke Cola is definitely addictive. I eat rather healthy and mostly just drink water and juice, but I get cravings for coke about once every 3 days simular to cigarette cravings. I dont get those cravings with any other soda. I usually cave to and get a bottle.
try coke zero it's pretty good. Most juice is also full of sugar. Make raspberry tea at home with Splenda is what I do

Dropped everything but water and green tea back in January, and I have not looked back. I've saved so much money instead of buying white monsters, coke zeros, etc. I feel absolutely fantastic and I can go into a convenience store and ignore 99% of the drink aisle.
I was off soda for years but craved a coke at my new job. they were keeping them in a cooler near freezing temp with yoohoos and other sodas. I caved to that ice cold coca-cola. you're not doing it right if it's not near slush level. got me some chocolate water yoohoo also

Soda is expensive. When you pay with food stamps you don't care as much than your own money.
Soda was all I drank when I was younger, I just got tired of it and knew I had to stop drinking it all the time because it was going to kill me one day. I still drink it on occasion but my palate is completely changed now and I find it way too sugary and pretty disgusting. Don't know how I ever drank it everyday.
Now, all I drink is coffee, water and beer. You don't need anything else and especially nothing with tons of sugar in it. Soda itself isn't addictive, it's the sugar and sweetness that is addictive. It's hard to start drinking water if you're used to the sugar explosion that is soda and all the other high sugar stuff we consume. Fast track to diabetes and an early death.

Im not sure if its because of overuse, or use period, but its supposed to cause joint problems. Id been drinking a drink mix that was sweetened with stevia, and didnt connect drinking it to the joint pain Id developed. My body is pretty beat up, and I have good and bad days, so it took me a while to put it together. I quit drinking that drink mix and the pain went away.
Regular sugars cause inflammation, which causes joint pain.
The alternative sweeteners all seem to have side effects.
Best conclusion Ive come to after 30 years, is to eat as little "added" sugars of any kind as you can, and stick to sugars less processed like honey and coconut palm sugar that are full of other nutrients and minerals. Whole fruits are the same, sugar...but minerals, vitamins and other nutrients.
A problem with processed sugar is it lacks the minerals like zinc, potassium and calcium in takes your body to process it...which leads to your body leaching it from you bones and teeth.

100% siding with Shane on no double child support. Dudes are already paying for more than what is typically going to the child. It’s an established issue that women are getting more than they need and then using it on themselves. Child support should mainly be based on the child’s needs and sure a little extra for the women to raise the child if the dad is not involved in that. But women are currently taking advantage of it god forbid we pay them even more. Guys will straight up not be able to afford it. What if the guy moves on and wants to have a family of his own?
