    There are two ambient temperature adjustment tables. How do you know which one to use? One says 30c and 40c?! Thanks.

    Thank you for the video I have a job site situation. I have 9 circuits (general use receptacles) to run in a 1 inch EMT. So 18 current carrying conductors. number 12 thhn. So 50 percent adjustment on 30 amp wire. Is that ok on a 20 amp breaker. Thank you.

    Why do you size the wire to the full 90c 194f if the terminating terminals are 75c?

    • @ElectricalCodeCoach
      @ElectricalCodeCoach  Před 3 lety +3

      Great question brother, the code allows you when you're doing temperature Corrections or bundling adjustments to use the 90° C for the adjustment.
      I explain in full detail in this vide

    Ok maybe this is a dumb question or maybe I missed something. But How do you know what your ambient temperature is going to be?

    • @ElectricalCodeCoach
      @ElectricalCodeCoach  Před 2 lety +2

      Great question. Real world you really don't know unless you were in a factory or other situation with a fixed temperature.
