- One thing for sure, Queens has no shortage of beautiful, upscale neighborhoods. I headed over to Beechhurst intent on making a video of all the nice homes there around evening time with hopes of getting a vivid sunset, but of course the usual mass of clouds rolled in out of nowhere and obscured whatever sun was beaming in the first half of the video. Regardless, I still got some great footage of the area, which is full of mini mansions, Tudor’s, a few modern homes, beautiful landscaping, cool Halloween decorations and even somebody’s pet rabbit that was hopping around outside loose! Overall, it was a nice short autumn stroll around another pleasant part of Queens.
Beechhurst is a neighborhood in the northeastern section of the New York City borough of Queens. It is northeast of Whitestone, bordered by the East River to the north, the Cross Island Parkway to the south, and the approaches to the Throgs Neck and Whitestone bridges to the east and west respectively. It is also bordered by the westernmost section of Long Island Sound. The neighborhood of Beechhurst, derives its name from its rich canopy of beech trees that once flourished on its lands. In the early 1900s, Beechhurst was primarily a summer retreat for wealthy New Yorkers seeking a reprieve from the city's hot and crowded streets.

What a beautiful neighborhood even with the clouds! The landscaping around these gorgeous homes is striking. The Halloween decorations were an added bonus and the rabbit too❤. Thank you for another wonderful, peaceful tour.
The rabbit was a definite highlight of the walk!
A really nice walk Paul, I loved the rabbit too, just hope he gets out from under that van and stays out. The gorgeous mansion at then on 13 th was huge, and that weird looking tree was for sure spooky enough for Halloween.
The rabbit hopped through the fence of the big house it was in front of. Guessing it lives there?

Hello brother, how are you? I like watching your video. Does it seem like there are no people living in these areas, but it looks like a long ago settlement of big people. It is a ghostly area. I saw a skeleton in front of a house.But skeletons are kept here why do you think there are ghosts I see ghosts a relative of mine talks to ghosts all the time they can tell me everything
