    Info and tips notes:
    - Tuning: D, A, DD. Related tunings will work such as G, D, G; C, G, C; A, E, A; etc.
    - This is the same melody as What Child Is This? if you didn't realize already
    - The melody is the same for further verses and choruses
    - The melody note is the highest pitched note on any given syllable. It will probably be easiest to start by just picking out those notes before adding chords. Chord notes on strings higher than the melody string are left out as to not drown out the melody.
    - The chords are often strummed at the beginning of each measure (though my tempo slows down a bit part way through, woops)
    - Go slow to learn fast
    - Slower! Slowing down the tempo does not decrease the value of the music
    - Play as slow as you can so that you're not losing the beat while reading/memorizing the notes
    - Bends are a little tricky because you're using your ear to get to the correct pitch. This will become more natural the more you play it and you will improve.
    - Believe in yourself. Become the bard!

Every part of my instruments, except the hardware, are crafted by hand so reach out for custom orders. I love the traditional diatonic fret layout but chromatic variants are also an option and make songs like Greensleeves a bit easier to play (no bends necessary). Chromatic frets can also be retro-fitted.

The colascione renaissance long-necked lute lives again :) Great job!
