Kitaco Oil Cooler Honda Grom Installation Video
Very easy only takes about 8-10 min to install.
In this video we go over how to install a Oil Cooler on the Honda Grom.
Our Bike already has a Kitaco Clutch Cover with Oil Ports Installed.
This Oil Cooler, will ONLY work with Kitaco BBK or Kitaco Clutch Cover.

you have hose clamps facing engine witch would make it impossible to tighten any further if need be, or replace a hose without taking off banjo fitting thus the need for 2 more washers would be required....
Can it be mounted upsidown to get the cooler higher and more tucked?

What’s the torque spec for the banjo bolts on the cooler/cover?
The Manual that comes with the Clutch Cover and/or Cooler shows Torque setting is 15 N/m or 11 lb/ft

Does the hole in the banjo bolts need to line up with the hole in the hose? Thanks for the video!
it's a groove inside the fitting for the oil to flow around, so doesn't matter.
Hello. Will this part work with the Takegawa super oil pump installed as well? I am looking to have the lines running to the BBK as opposed to the clutch plate.

Yes indeed.
We actually RECOMMEND having the SUPER OIL PUMP installed as well, for best results.
+HardRacing will it be ok without the pump or cover? All i have is exhuast and ride in Arizona so with summer coming im looking to lower temps as much as i can.

Unfortunately, no. You cannot just drill a hole in side of motor. It must be purpose built.
My bike is XR 200 honda which does not have any oil coolers. is there any possibility to have oil coolers installed in it?

The fan won't do anything unless your bike stays still and the lowest temp the oil could possibly get is just as hot as the temperature your riding in but it's very unlikely that it would even get that cool so yeah no need for modification

Would definitely, recommend using our Kitaco Frame Bracket Mount for the Cooler. Much more secure.

Yes, indeed. The 5 row mounts just like the 3 row.
HardRacing i see lots of people mount them low.. is that just preference? ill be looking at the NEO kit eventually... that will have to mount low is that right?
They mount them low, because that is what comes with the Kit.
The UPPER Frame brackets are alternate mount.

I mounted it the same way and when I rode for the first time, the first hard stop I did, the cooler hit my fender sending the fender into the back of my tire and breaking off about an inch off the back of my fender. It also caused a dent in the bottom of my cooler. I ended up flipping it over and mounting it where the airbox used to be still utilizing the same mounting bracket. I also had to trim a little off the inside of the shrouds to clear from rubbing. If the shroud brace was an inch longer, it would have fit perfect with no mods

The fittings are different on the oil lines, and You would need to make your own custom brackets to mount the oil cooler.
Or you can get the FRAME Bracket mount.

Oil cooler cool the oil to prevent the engine from overheating, the pumps the oil trough the cooler and all of the "fins" dissipate the heat.
who knows? Perhaps they filter fuel to the carburetor

Their taking about a decrease in engine oil temps accomplished by utilizing the oil cooler, not the conversion between Centigrade & Fahrenheit
