Was just there on Wednesday. Unfortunately a lot of the features were not up. Just down rail, small cannon, and triple down box. Fun time regardless.
This is awesome! It would be great to have somewhere like this to go to where I’m from, Minnesota. I am happy that I can at least go for a few months out of the year. Love your videos! Makes me miss the snow in this 80 degree weather.
Us lower nor’easters home mountain is the poconos or in WV and we don’t even open til December. We’re closed by April too :/

Tommie did you take care of your hip pain? I use to run marathons it’s been 5 years since I’ve ran my last marathon due to IT band syndrome I’ve taken time of to take care of the issue. It’s those small issues that will get you in the end.

Nick, you are also not taking into consideration that it’s the only place of its kind in the United States… and it’s in NJ/NYC metro area. Where a lot of the guys you see in this video, only snowboard since Big Snow opened. The progression for them as Tommie showed in 6 months, can be through the roof. Terrain base learning, is for the “Never Evers” …..
Feels weird to be in full snowboard gear while everyone in the mall is in shorts. Just saying.
I mean yea it's rad. Indoor snowboarding. However, with all those employees the features should be a bit more dialed. Id be really upset paying that much money to have one tiny little jump to ride. Then again, maybe backcountry dudes like me that hate rails and boxes shouldn't go to places like this. When i was in high school it woulda been rad. But as a grown ass 34 year old man whos been riding for 25 years i know what I like and what im good at. Tiny little park features arent it for me. The DC booter at Northstar, or scotts on a pow day at Alpine Meadows is my jam. I mean, speed is not an issue here, so why not have a good jump line? Not 14 foot tall wedges but some fun big/small lip choice booters with ACL friendly landings. Id definitely fly out there 3 or 4 times every summer to rip, 100%. I guess living in Tahoe spoils me. Having Northstar 15 minutes from my front door is pretty steezy.

With global warming and if your a conspiracy theorist or not the great reset warns of decreasing allowance for humans to explore out parks and native wildlife. I do hope it is all a farce and we can all enjoy and help preserve what we have been blessed with but, just look around you friend. I live in cherry creek, every day i walkout and look at longs peak, i couldn’t see it for a month straight. I hate to be pessimistic but it just looks downhill
