    Hello
    Is there a way to speed limit this scooter using the famous grey cable ? Not the p7 speed settings, it affect only the rear motor...
    Thank you

    • @EvNerds
      @EvNerds  Před 8 měsíci +1

      I was not aware to be honest that only rear motor is affected by P settings limit. Are you sure about that? Thats not an usual practice in escooter controller making. ? But to answer, i do not know of any other way and i am pretty sure max power is the speed we got in the test.

    I know they are basically the same scooter but is there much difference between vlaken and kugoo g3 pro.
    I know they list different powers but is this actually the case or just one listing peak motor and other listing what the motors are actually rated for.
    Also is there much of a different made by the difference in batterys between the two?

    • @EvNerds
      @EvNerds  Před 7 měsíci

      From what i understand, differences are in listing power/peak. Powerwise they are the same. Battery that Vlaken has is from Thinkedpow battery company and i never opened Kugoo version to know what they use. This one is very good! Not big voltage sag, regulary works the same from day 1.

      I do not have an escooter with me now, but with 21700 cells and even the same 18650 cells i think you could pack at least 28 Ah inside. The escooter has more or same space then Vsett 10+, and Vsett 10+ has 60V 28 Ah version. I did not see Vlaken offer 60V. Maybe you can write to them and ask. This is a hard one. X10 is like ninja due to suspension! This one does not have suspension that makes you feel like it is ready for anything. Hero has more power and larger battery. However, g3 pro is very good. It is just a dollar question actually. You get alot for little from G3 PRO.

      Yes thats what i am confirming in this review. I have over 1000 KMs on Vsett. It does not need dumper, but G3 is much more reliable on higher speeds and less bouncy. I do not know how else to explain; it is just better. Even with damper, G3 feels better; at least to me.

    What comparing it to roadrunner rs5..how about customer service with g3 pro..what if I get a flat

    • @EvNerds
      @EvNerds  Před 11 měsíci

      Flat? You can change flat at any store that sells escooters. Same tires are on Kugoo, Vlaken and Roadrunner version. Customer service highly depends on place where you bought it. So, i suggest buying local. And flat is usually not considered warranty. For warranty, do check all terms before buying ofcourse. In my country i have 5 stores at least where i can change any escooter tire.

  • @aptrm80
    @aptrm80 Před 19 dny +1

    Are you sure Roadrunner is part of the same company?? I get that the frames are the same but Roadrunner clearly try to distance themselves from the cheaper versions sold on AliExpress etc. RS5 has a 30amp controller, Faster top speed ,NUTT Brakes , Tubeless tires & updated controls. Roadrunner obviously listens to their customers & you can see that in the newer RS5 MAX with the 32AH LG Battery , new door lock, tidier cable set up, throttle , mode/light/horn control & looks way better in Blue .
    I bought the Kukirin G3Pro last September & honestly wish I’d paid the extra $1000 for the RS5 Max , I’ve had lots of problems with my G3 Pro & Kukirin customer service isn’t efficient at all ….expect to wait for parts 😳🛴💨

    • @EvNerds
      @EvNerds  Před 19 dny +1

      Hy dude⚡ Vlaken is the factory. Vlaken customers like companies mentioned choose their parts, battery, controllers or even do extra r&d like RS5 company and improve the product. So it is not like you can get the same thing when two escooters look the same and come from same factory. Kugoo is pretty simmiliar, and the USA based company has massive improvment of original product for those that put "extreme high end features" as the most important benefit of escooter. So these are two different things. The factory & the customer.

    • @aptrm80
      @aptrm80 Před 19 dny

      @@EvNerds thanks 👍🏼 I’ve just had a really bad experience with Kukirin Canada & Kugoo USA got involved as well, my controller was faulty straight out the box E006 fault & it took 5 months & 2 wrong controllers sent to get the correct one, my charger was also faulty & they kept sending me the price of a new controller & dismissing my issue until the charger basically would only give a maximum of 51.3V output so I was left without a scooter for months due to incompetence. My battery sags really bad & most I’ve managed is 40km range at mode1 flat road etc nowhere near the 80km advertised.
      I’ll probably spend more upgrading this with scooter with parts from Roadrunner RS5 MAX than if I just paid the extra for what looks the best 52V version of this scooter, I really like the fine details that Roadrunner puts into their videos 🛴 🔥

      Yeah I have the Roadrunner RS5+ 2.0 very similar but my Roadrunner handle bar controls are much better. Has 28ah battery removable battery. Roadrunner has been using this same platform for a couple years now. Also there’s another brand that uses this same platform they offer a seat that bolts onto where you would put your one back foot on while standing and riding. I’d like to find it again and get it and see how it would feel to ride it while sitting. Also I’d really like for them to come out with a better front headlight. It’s bright but pretty narrow light beam so I had to add a second headlight mounted on the handle bar.

      Sorry to hear that, the one i reviewed is still going well, has around 3800 Km and friend is using it every day for job to home commute. While the performance of Vlaken and Kugoo are the same, battery brand and capacity are different. As for the warranty etc.. , Vlaken is the actual factory for Kugoo, and Kugoo service for customers are their own. I do not know anybody at Kugoo, but i would not let them go so easy if i had problem. It is unfair if you proven your problem with video to pay anything. One thing is to pay for part to be shipped, another is to pay for parts that were faulty. Anyways, i hope your new controller keeps on going for miles..

      @@EvNerds there is no support at all be warned, if it goes wrong your on your own buddy. Initially i emailed them and was asked for a "video of the issue", which i found bizaare.
      Basically it wouldnt power up at all and wouldnt charge. so i took footage of that and sent it, they then said they were on a chinese new year holiday for two weeks, so i waited, at the end of their "break" i emailed again.
      They simply totally ignore me now, no reply, no response and i ended up stripping the scooter down myself and diagnosing the control unit had blown.
      Now they will supply me with a new control unit when i order it off thier website which ive had to buy out of my own pocket at a cost of £130 and fit myself.
      But my scooter was only ten months old and had covered just 55 miles, all dry, i put it away in my garage after using it and it was fine, i suspect it has blown whilst on charge.
      Now these things happen, but the only way to get it fixied is if it was fixed - by me.
      Because the "support" from Kugoo, even the .UK website just isnt there, its non existent and whislt you can buy spares and have them delivered within a couple of weeks there is no support at all, they basically ignore you until you give up.
      Id never ever buy another Kugoo product, id rather walk out of principle.
      The scooter itself is priced reaosnably and wehn it works it works well, but the whole Kugoo experience has left a sour tase in my mouth and im not wonderign when itll blow the control unit again.
