After watching this video Ariana tweeted that it gave her chills and that she was sobbing at the end. She also noted that she had forgotten that she had that many songs.
Yeah she’s got a million hits lol
I could see the excitement when you were explaining the details like, "hear the drums?" or "his voice is so pure"
You're really becoming a true pentaholic and I couldn't be happier!!!!!
Lol yes!!! They are so amazing!!!
The new guy you didn't recognize on the bottom left is Matt, the new bass, who joined the group when Avi left the group after the 2016 tour. Everyone else were original members when "The Trio" (Kirstin, Scott, and Mitch in the back row) added a bass (originally Avi) and beatboxer (Kevin) to become Pentatonix in 2011. Kirstin and Mitch have gone through a lot of changes in looks over the years, but have been in the group from the beginning.
The "Evolution of..." series are amazing because not only are the transitions between songs smooth and flawless, but they shoot these "live" in a straight-through take rather than editing together multiple takes. It may take them several takes to get everything perfect, but what you're seeing is essentially a live one-take performance just like you'd see in concert.
Thank you!!!
Along with their Grammy Award-winning arrangements, PTX are known for their mastery of transitions allowing them to create seamless mashups/medleys. A few more examples are 'La La Latch' and 'New Rules X Are You That Somebody'. The longer you go down this path, you will discover that there are no "bad" videos or songs in their impressive collection. While mostly known for their covers (which often outshine the originals), they do have several PTX originals as well that are more than worth checking out. 'Run to You', 'Love again', 'Can't Sleep Love', 'Sing', and 'Cracked' are a few.
Once again, really enjoying watching your journey of discovery. It reminds me of my own.
Their transitions are other worldly! I’d love to be in the room to see just how they do it!
Daft Punk Medley" was shot in a group members home.. in the closet and kitchen. It won them the 1st of 3 Grammy Awards.
Please check out their 2nd Grammy win, "Dance of The Sugar Plum Fairy"! It's not what you're going to be expecting btw. It's dark. The Grammy, they were awarded for that was under a new category. It goes something like "Best Arrangement of a Classical Piece for Instrumental or A Capella" I may have the "wording" out of order.. but you get the gist. It's a freaking killer number!
"Can't Hold Us" and "La La Latch" are freakibg awesome! The latter is a mashup of two songs "La La La" and "Latch". LOVE it!
Love your energy and appreciate the suggestions! Hopefully you subbed because we have much more to come!
The new guy is Matt, he replaced Avi( he was in Bohemian Rhapsody). The one on the top is Mitch he's been with PTX since day one, he just changes his hair style. And Mitch can go higher on those notes. All 5 have the most incredible ranges.
Thank you. We are still learning who is who.
@@ESMRRevengers there is a video called Beginners guide to Pentatonix it tells you who is who and some things about their back ground. Check it out just for your own when you get a chance its very informative....czcams.com/video/lDxIfwfCmQE/video.html
Dear their angel they don’t fight they are best friends . They are five of the most humble people . Their net worth now is 66 million as of now . Smart humans .
Daaaamn!! Very true!!
"They sing like angels bro" I honestly can agree to this cause when I saw the Michael Jackson one I was like🤯 but I’ve never heard of them too until y’all !!!
Awh. Glad ya like them!
You should watch their cover of Can't Hold Us. I think you would enjoy it. Also, Scott and Mitch have their own channel called Superfruit that you should check out. Pentaholics, comment which Superfruit videos are your favorite!
They definitely should react to Feeling Myself and Defying Gravity
And among their originals my favorites are Deny U and Guy.exe!
1. Imaginary Parties, Fantasy, Worth It (Perfect), Keep Me Coming, Goodbye From Lonely, Sexy Ladies, Guy.exe,... Ok just do that *whole album* because there isn't a single song on it that isn't great, & there's a mv for each song (except the bonus tracks I think) that makes it even better.
2. The Promise (their newest fabulous cover, not original but still needs mentioning!)
I love all of them , the videos for Hurry Up!, Guy.EXE, Imaginary Parties, ( just so fun)
@@Qwanaille Defying Gravity is how I was introduced to mitch and scott. I LOVE it.
@@anessalyn1035 omg same for me!! I found their channel and then their PTX channel thanks to that video as well 😍
Scott, the guy in the middle, does a solo cover of "Should I Tell Your Mama on You" by Red. I think you guys might like.
Awesome! Thank you!
Please react to kevin olusola (beatboxer) solo stuff it will blow you away. I recommend 'down'
Yeah I’ve been seeing that a lot lately!
I am hoping that your next PTX reaction is their cover of John Lennon's Imagine..
I'll add it! I have so many to do.
The live concerts- some videos it’s the AUDIENCE singing along that’s hilariously good. A massive group of their original fans are choir babies/musically trained in some way. So they freaking HARMONIZE. We choir babies finally have our own rockstar choir babies 😅😅
Lol yessss!
Also, do make him watch bohemian rhapsody or daft punk by ptx. He'll realise their potential, maybe?
We did both!

Daft Punk- czcams.com/video/ZMdFfeb0wAI/video.html
(edit: got interrupted & didn't realize I forgot to mention the songs I was suggesting were Superfruit, not PTX)
I 😍 every PTX original & practically every cover. They have all also done individual stuff. Someone commented to suggest Superfruit favorites you should check out, as they are mostly originals (but not a capella):
These are all Sup3rfruit songs btw. A fun project Scott and Mitch did as part of their channel they created in 2013. Sup3rfruit is a channel about their friendship (8 yrs old when they met) and they wanted Pentatonix fans to see they're real, non-superstar types. Connect on a down to earth level. The two of them began the channel when they were splitting rent with some other struggling artistic types. The other members of the group lived nearby for ease of getting together and arranging music as well as filming early music videos on a couch like they were using in this video.
They only added some music later to try to get more subscribers. It was NOT what the channel was about.
Amazing info we appreciate you!!
Thanks for the incredible detail!
Make that dude watch Hallelujah 😅
We did it!! See below!

I meant the guy joining you since he laughed at your “angels” comment haha I saw your reaction and loved it! That’s my favorite to watch people react to, but it’s rare that it’s not blocked 😑
Everyone is the same except (Matt) the guy on the left
You should react to marawan pablo abu mecca
Coming soon!
