Hey everyone! It's going to be an insane month for SF6 news. Akuma details, balance preview and a new mode coming for the battle hub called "Giant Attack". I'll do my best to keep everyone updated. We still haven't heard about Season 2 yet, super exciting.

I main Kim and the problem isnt the opponent doing it themselves as much as its me not being able to do it at all because currently they already have invicible dps which can be used to stop my pressure and can leave me cornered if Im able to use drive reversal I can come back myself. Currently I cant do much.
If thats the case they need to definitely nerf her command throw damage, because thats not fair to akuma, unless his ass does more damage to her than she does LOL
@@lxvxiexi personally don't think Akuma will have 9k HP , makes no sense how cammy , or kimberly or any other fast character has 10k while Marisa has 10.5k but akuma 9k . No sense absolutely. Just tone down his damage less than Ken and he will be fair .

With the Ed Patch they added a new Manual Modern Controls option where you can learn the Motion Inputs while still using the Modern Light Medium Heavy Buttons. I don't really know that it removes the Special Move Button but it could be that it's just so Modern Players don't have to read the Classic moves and learn on their own which moves Modern is missing.
Seems like Raging demon is a different super than the lvl3. Lvl3 should have 2 version, a regular lvl3 and a CA version when your health is below 25%. But when you are below 25% you unlock raging demon as a second separate CA.
Thats what the blog post was making it sound like based on how they worded, but it just didn't seem like it would make much sense to do that Cause they're not gonna get rid of akuma's classic demon input, but at the same time, it isn't very sensible to completely replace a lvl3 super you can combo into with demon as a ca which notoriously hasn't had many combo routes into
@@MansMan42069 you can also see it on a recent post on the official SF acount, it showed the movelist, the part of supers of Akuma, and it the level 3 it says "this move gets powered on 25% health" then you have Raging Demon on it's own entry that says "this move it's unlocked when at 25% health"
They need to fix Kimberly’s Hidden variable, her L,M,H buttons all do the same. That should not be. It should be different distances and appearances in different places on the screen. Ex. She disappears in place (fake), in front of her opponent and behind the the opponent. She’s a ninja!!
Is going to be nice. Is mainly a range increase thing for me. gives routes without having to immediately drive rush when is a far hit. f hp, stlk Dr strike throw mixup is going to be more real now. or you can just cash out meter less with df mp lariat
Got my fingers crossed for the Dee jay buffs. Make that forward mk an overhead. Low profile on the heavy kick sweep. Add some invulnerability to jus cool. We’d be in business
Another thing about Akuma, the official twitter of SF uploaded a post talking about modern inputs and showed that theres no 1 button Raging Demon BUT ALSO it showed that Raging Demon is not Akumas CA, it's is own thing
I genuinely think Luke is still going to be in the top 5 for best characters in the game, and Ken to be Honest mostly because of utility. Unlike other characters who rely on gimmicks or follow a specific game plan. Luke and Ken have buttons to deal with every situation since their shotos. Remember when Kimberly and Manon were considered top tiers, then everyone learnt how to deal with their gimmicks, and then they just became low tiers. Another Example is Menard. When He meets players who can deal with Blanka's gimmicks, he switches to Luke. Even when you look at last year's Capcom Cup qualifiers. Most of the qualifiers used Luke, Ken, DeeJay and Chun-li who are all shoto like in nature. Remember, Jp was considered the best character at that time, but even he had less use cases than DeeJay and Chun-li, why? because JP's a zoner by nature. He has a set game plan. The only character I think that has potential to be better than Luke or Ken is Ryu mostly because he's major weakness is just that Luke and Ken exist, but if they keep buffing him and nerfing them, there's a chance that all the shoto players will navigate to him. Mind you Ryu's damage hasn't even been touched yet.
Dang akumas teleport idk about using that now although that command grab looks awesome it depends on how fast it is blocking/parrying might end up being better maybe it should have s at start up
AKI got +1 frame on cr MK. Used to be +4, st HP is 12f unless they meant the fHP which is 16 so now it should be even faster. Note the shotos have 10f. The poison leap is already frame 1 inv till first active frame. Prob meant it has more I frames after to make it a more consistent punish against fireballs so she doesn’t get hit out of it.
Sounds like im prob still not playing this game then considering i think this system is garbage. Before thinking im some kinda bum or something with a shitty opinion i quit playing around 1704 MR, so while im not a pro, its not a skill issue i just genuinely hate drive as a mechanic and how the game revolves around it and the shitty responsiveness of classic control(and the screen freeze that they pretend they fixed but still feels awful)

So happy about the Ryu denjin charge change. It was so awkward using donkey kick to send someone full screen only to then walk back into close range because you didn't wanna throw a fireball lol.

There were some buffs for KIM reported it was like 2 or 3? Right now i dont remember them all but some of them were: OD ground tatsu combos into Lv2 It was a buff to a move so that she now can combo OD Izuna drop after it Edit: it was H.Vagabond edge And also it seems she can choose to or not to expend a spay can on her Lv1

Desperation wakeup option. It being 20 frames is too slow to beat most meaty options. Is going to end up probably like trying to wakeup super in granblue into meaty buttons.
What is the point of Akuma’s teleport now if it doesn’t have any invincibility whatsoever? Not even projectile invincibility? I mean I don’t mean to complain as Akuma has plenty of other stuff to work with but like at that point what’s the point. Get rid of the move lol.

This doesn’t seem like a “big” balance change. The game will likely stay the same if this is all they could come up with. The game at its core is still in need of serious changes. The drive rush, drive impact and burnout state all need changes. There’s still little defensive options for players and the guessing 50/50 every turn is still there. Hopefully there is more because if not, the game is still a joke
Why do they refuse to give Kimberly an OD reversal IDGI 😔 She's one of the only characters in the game that just has to hold that when getting pressured on wake up it's stupid. Her offense is not even OD like that

yea i kinda agree cuz everyone keeps saying season 2 BUT have they forgotton, Akuma was slated as the last SEASON 1 character. Plus phase 4 just started, so they are gonna just start season 2 in the middle of a phase that recently started? I would imagine a new season would surely coincide with a new phase at the same time, right? I imagined season 2 would start with the release of the 1st second year dlc character
Anyone wishing for 1 button demon don’t deserve to play akuma. You already have 1 less input for modern demon if the classic control input is the original demon input.

Nah. That be waay too much. I love and main guile and i think it make the move too good. Its hard to whiff punish and its already plus on block. I like the back knuckle mind games too. Like, if you notice your opponent parrying your booms a lot, you can throw a boom and follow with drive rush back knuckle. You will be plus 7 on their parry of back knuckle.

Your phase placement is whatever your highest MR is, not what you end on. If you hit 1800 at least one during phase 3, then that's your placement.

i dont understand why they balance the game based on the small handful of the best players in the world....i mean they are already good enuff lol, why not pay more attention to the mass of online players....even high level ones, thats fine....but nerfing Cammy for example? Like, how many ppl are winning alot at a very high level with Cammy? I can tell you.....its very few. Cammy is NOT a top tier character....theres just a small amount of top tier players that are amazing with her so ppl bitch about her cuz they cant deal with her. Your average player, even average master level player....are not like that with her
if capcom wants to add new sh1t its welcoming but for rank players they are only focus on playing r ranks.....the casual player will show up and have his honey moon with the game and F off as in playing other games. The dedicated gamers on here are those who stream for a living and pro players so why is everyone trying to spend insidious amounts of hours in this game in ranks just to win for nothing??? Nah. That be waay too much. I love and main guile and i think it make the move too good. Its hard to whiff punish and its already plus on block. I like the back knuckle mind games too. Like, if you notice your opponent parrying your booms a lot, you can throw a boom and follow with drive rush back knuckle. You will be plus 7 on their parry of back knuckle.
