- The Paris Olympics are just around the corner, and in this series, you'll discover what you can do in Paris - whether during the Olympics or whenever you travel here. Paris is timeless! 😍 We start this first episode with the river Seine and its iconic bridges, where the Opening Ceremony will take place. We also go for a stroll around Île de la Cité to see the Notre Dame Cathedral, Sainte-Chapelle, and Conciergerie, then head to the Latin Quarter and Le Marais. It's a beautiful walking tour around the oldest parts of Paris.

► WHO AM I?
I am a Brazilian-American journalist living in Florida. After traveling the world working with sports, news, and events for over 15 years, I realized that what I really love is the travel part of it all. So I exchanged life in the newsrooms and stadiums for the daily challenge of being an independent content producer. I created this channel to share the beauties of the world... stuff that, for so long, I only kept to myself. Also to help people planning similar trips and to inspire more people to venture out and enjoy life!
P.S.: The funny guy who appears in the vlogs is my husband, Gordon. He is Canadian-American, and he's actually camera-shy. That's why he's behind the camera most of the time 😉

Also, the French national football team ⚽️is currently playing in "EURO 2024 in Germany", and if they champion, I think the city will be incredibly excited.⚽️🇫🇷🏆🥳

Just returned from Paris and had a fantastic time. I have been to Paris since birth and speak French. I love the Île St Louis. Thanks for your video…I sure miss Paris.
Fantastic, how many days did you spend in Paris?
Oh man this is making me miss Paris…i havent been there since 2017, and i was so happy that i went into Norte Dame there on a whim…considering what has happened now, I’m glad i did. I never did go into Saint Chapelle and now i definitely want to go inside…the windows are absolutely stunning.
Fantastic! There are so many places to see we barely got started.
It's a really fascinating city. Thanks for the amazing tour. The people waving at you from the boat were probably tourists thinking you were a local friendly french girl 😊
Truly is a fascinating city. Quite probably, or they wanted to be in my shot, haha.
I liked the reason why that area of the Sorbonne University was called the “Latin Quarter.” Didn’t know that they spoke Latin back then amongst the students and the in the churches etc. Thank you for the video.
Thanks a lot for watching ❤️

Great , Super, Renata you smashed it in Paris 🎉🎉🎉
Thank you! 😃 I really appreciate!
Bonjour Renata. What a wonderful city, Paris is such a lovely city. Merci beaucoup.
One of the main reasons I wanted so much for an opportunity to work and live in Europe is learning their heritage and legacy. C'est la vie.
I have a leather jacket that has the word nortre dame at the back, I bought it at a sports shop in Seville, Spain, 1996.
Bonjour Renata, j'espère que vous et Gordon prendrez du plaisir à Paris lors des JO. Vous serez les bienvenus.
You are most welcome.

Bonjour Renata et bienvenue a Paris, Loved your videos of Australia and New Zealand and hoping to see more nice places in Paris, but correct me if I'm wrong Isn't Paris also known as Le Cite de L'amour? Or is that another city? Anyway Je vous garde le rendezvous pour la suite, A bientot😊
Thank you. You are correct about city of love. Guess its known for 2 things...among others.
Enjoy my beautiful city :)
We love it! 🥰 Paris is always a good idea ❤️
❤🎉😊
Thanks for watching.
Paris is of my favourite cities in the world, but not when Muslims pray in the streets. The last time I was in Paris, I stayed for a week, but I knew I could easily spend a _month_ there, without even getting to any other European cities!
สวัสดีค่ะ❤

There’s a lot of French people here they don’t speak English here others do speak English only a little
Is it not required schooling to pick up another language?
@@RenataPereiraTVyeah I know
@@RenataPereiraTV Exactly haha
When go to Indonesian again miss
Planning on it, not sure at the moment. I hope next year.
Never been to Paris
I wish you get the chance to visit in the future.
I like the Netflix series ‘Emily in Paris’. 🇫🇷
Do you know it?
‘Emily in Paris’ is a masterpiece of romantic comedy, and this video feels like watching that show.😄
It’s ‘Renata & Gordon in Paris’.”🇫🇷👫✨
Wow, thank you! I will check that out.
Hello my friends.
Hello, happy Sunday!
Wow you’re gone to Paris
Yes, fortunate to get this video out before the games. Thanks for watching.
@@RenataPereiraTVyeah
Than show me the Reviere beach
HAHA, would love to visit, especially during summer.
i thought it was the city of LIGHT
Actually both light and lights are wrong. The correct translation of lumière from French would be enlightenment. But as both light and lights are widely adopted in English, that’s what we end up using
Still touring around the touristy area of Paris. First time visiting? Haha.....!🤭
I see you didn’t watch the video nor previous ones. That’s ok. Welcome to the channel.
@@RenataPereiraTV I am Paris'. old timers. What you introduce were 101 in Paris.🤣I thought you will talk about Olypimic in Paris 2024. However, not much...except the city hall deco.😐
HLO
Hello Zeeshan, thanks for watching.
FYI: Local Parisians do not wear berets, especially not red ones.
Ahhhhh! 😂😂 I guess that’s the effect of old movies and stereotypes on me
@@RenataPereiraTV Yes, I know. But a beret in any shade now screams "tourist!" There's a video by an ex-pat who lists things to never do in Paris & wearing a beret is one of them (unless you want to be identified as a foreigner). Of course, a history of French fashion references the popularity of the beret, notably in black. But this hat style is now dépassé. I just googled 'do Parisians wear berets?' I'll paste the reply:
Whether guys or girls, Parisians wearing berets is just a stereotype that is not true. Not that no one wears berets in the city. Few do that, but since the late 20th-century, berets, just like hats, are no longer popular in Paris and most places in France.
Hello mam How are you' APA kabra kamu oke ya,, good 😄😍🙏✌️👍💞🌟🌍🇮🇩

got a hunch there won't be an Olympic summer game.. there will be a mass boycott.. due to something..
yes about the guillotine but usa have still the horrific death penalty
Paris was not one of my favourite cities, in the 70's the traffic was horrendous, pedestrians put their lives at risk as drivers ignored the rules of the road, as for their parallel parking if the gap wasn't large enough they enlarged it, every 2CV or Renault 4 was very battered. One needed a reasonable command of French as Parisians' refused to speak English even if fluent with it. They just laughed behind one's back at one's pathetic attempt at French.
The Eiffel Tower was a temporary structure when erected for a Great Exhibition but they fell in love with it and the City Authorities kept it. The same as the Crystal Palace in Hyde Park, London, that was relocated and destroyed by a fire in the late 30's.
Well, I think we have come a long way since the 70s. In these big cities I don't think I would ever own an automobile.
Paris is in chaos with protests and riots ....
French riots for a bad fart from a politician.
For anything every single day
Nothing to be surprised for
Die Franzosen reden nicht gerne Englisch und gar nicht gern Deutsch
