Thanks for the video, I've been doing only a field strip. I know it needs more than that. I have several thousand rounds thru it, and I really try and clean it as good as I can after two to three hundred rounds but I know there are area's that I just can't reach. Your video's give me the confidence to do a complete teardown.
Since the manual doesn't recommend this how would Smith recommend cleaning the internals. There is no way you can get to to it without doing this? I try and wedge towels and patches etc and no way I can get the insides as clean. I can get the feed ramp spotless without doing this though. I'm just a little apprehensive of getting this apart and back together. The upper and lower receiver parts that is. Bolt assembly piece of cake. Just worried about the rest.
I don't really believe it is hard, you just have to pay very close attention to detail and what you are doing. The manual basically recommends a armorer/gunsmith to do it.
Do you offer any mentorships? I’m interested in getting my start in gunsmithing but don’t currently have the money to enroll in SDI courses. Would be more than willing to help out with any yard work/chores that you need done around the house in exchange for knowledge/training!
Thanks for the detailed video, very helpful!
You are the Guru. Thank you.
Thank you

Don't lose anything! Parts are hard to get.
@@hollowpointdefense Believe me I'am aware of how easy it is lose parts. Those pins in the bolt have a mind of their own if your not careful.
