Word of caution: If this is your absolute last resort, live or die gun, do NOT mess with any parts. Unexpected things can appear at the worst time when you start messing around with triggers, extractors, mags etc. If this is just a range gun... go ahead. If you are counting on the legendary reliability - use as it comes out of the box.

Use some emery cloth and polish all the trigger parts and put them back in your gun and you will have a 4 lb. Trigger pull.😊

Keep in mind that a Double Diamond connector as well as a Ghost pro trades more leverage for more trigger pull distance, which kind of cancels what Lenny said at the beginning. To accomplish the stated objectives that Lenny first stated can be done with the following: 1) Polish the internal parts. 2) Replace the OEM shoe with one that can dial out pre-travel ( or perhaps both pre-travel and overtravel). 3) Install a device that limits overtravel such as a modified trigger housing with an overtravel reduction set screw (now available for the 43x/48) or Ghost PRO connector. 4) Choose the appropriate striker spring to finish the assembly construction with a 4.5 or 6 pound spring. 5) Install a reduced power safety plunger spring [which won't reduce the trigger pull weight but make the pull smoother]. For about $45 you can purchase a new shoe and housing that will do everything for you. The 43x's connector will stay crisp yet the pull will remain short and as heavy or light as you want it to be. Again, the Double Diamond and Ghost connectors might be ideal for some, but they will produce a "rolling" break rather than the OEM connector's "crisp" glass rod break. .

I love the stock trigger pull weight. It’s a deliberate enough of a weight, that I don’t worry about accidentally pulling the trigger. However, I just want a more comfortable trigger shoe, and perhaps a better travel and reset.

I was nervous about dissembling and installing the new Double Diamond 3.5 connector myself but with the help of your excellent explanation I did it with very little trouble. Somehow I did manage to unseat that small spring at the end of the slid stop but luckily I didn’t send it flying across the room when putting it back into place.

Quick way to remove your trigger pin on your G43X (works first time every time) remove your slide and then have a 5/32" or 3/32" pin punch at the ready, now first with your thumb raise the slide stop (against its spring tension) straight up and at the same time apply light pressure with your pin punch to the trigger pin and immediately allow the the slide stop to "SNAP" downward as you apply a very slight amount more pressure to your pin punch it's a 1,2,3, guarantee.

Currently rocking a Valkyrie pl3 and a gideon omega 3 moa red dot. Aim surplus slide. Ndz guide rod and 15lb spring. Vickers carry trigger on oem bar. Oem internals upper and lower. Ghost bullet slide stop, and glock oem extended mag release. Lone wolf ext take down. Magpul carry magwel. Minor frame work and some Goon tape. Its been a slow evolution but im extremely happy with how it shoots and how I shoot with it. No pistol has given me the confidence of my glock 17 with a 17 round mag and a tyrant +5 extension. 22+1 of 124g jhp defending my sons future at all times❤ and it always goes bang. Always. Thats the best part. Ive had zero malfunctions in about 4 years of ownership. Very well cared for and daily carried. Well over 1000 rounds of practice plus 3 classes. ZERO malfunctions......I will be cremated and boxed up with my glock and placed on my kids mantle some day. I believe my spirit will stay attached to my weapon and allow me to protect my son and his future family even after death 😂

I generally don't mess with defensive pistol triggers. I feel like accidents can happen when the trigger is too light. In a defensive situation you want to make sure your pulling the trigger and not accidentally pulling the trigger early if you don't need to. Training is your best trigger upgrade. Any trigger is usable with enough training.

Hello everyone. Not knocking light triggers but I would not use anything lighter that 4 lbs for an EDC trigger. Anything less you are asking for legal problems if you have to use your firearm in a life threatening situation. Pre-travel, eliminating creep is all good but keep very light triggers are bad news for EDC. Competition gun you say, well knock yourself out as the range is where very light triggers should be utilized. My humble opinion and .02 cents.

And as with all other modifications it will void your warranty. I have a Glock 19 Gen 5 and that baby shoots like a dream. Personally, I just can’t justify all these after market “modifications,” most of which can cost you a lot of bucks to have it done properly by a qualified gun smith. If you are a competition shooter maybe that’s another story re modification, upgrades, whatever. But I bought my Glock 19 for “up close and personal” self defense within that 3-15 foot range where virtually all legal self defense shootings occur. Everybody thinks they have to replace the Glock sights right off the bat. Come on, in Realityville, are you REALLY going to be looking down your sights with some scumbag charging you? Hell no you aren’t. You are going to be shoving that Glock out in front of you and busting as many caps on that perp as you have to. And at that point, a totally stock Glock will do the trick just fine. $100 sights, trigger jobs, tungsten guide rods, whatever, aren’t going to make one damn bit of difference at that critical point. Same your money on unnecessary after market “upgrades” and spend it on more ammo or a top of the line concealment holster. Just one man’s opinion.

Nicer triggers are probably great I'm sure, but if you actually have to use your gun in a self defense situation, you've made your case exponentially tougher for your attorney and yourself.

Bs. Because now EVEN if you train (like we all know you are supposed to); the D.A. Will now go after you because you're a "trained killer". So all these different BS court scenarios are just that BS. Don't be afraid to carry real hot ammo or big calibers or trick triggers its all the same. They can pull anything out their ass.

I’ve got a lot of Glocks and for the purpose of accuracy and function for carry or duty, I haven’t found Glock triggers to be worthy of all the shit they get. But that 43X trigger is pure garbage and I’m absolutely changing it out.

I fully agree and admit that the glock firearm is one of the most reliable guns on the market in most models and trims. The trigger is perfectly good for self defense situations, however...it's crap. Better crap is still crap, sorry. It's reliable and that's what it was designed for, end of story. A "good feeling" trigger it is not

All of you people constantly swapping out already working parts to "improve performance" better hope all of those mechanical variables that your adding don't bite you in the ass if God forbid you actually need your gun to defend yourself and it jams or malfunctions. I will stick with my stock Glock that ALREADY WORKS!

The pyramid trigger is one of the best available for the Glock is what you should say instead of making the Bold statement that you are trigger is the best not knowing what use someone might need, besides there's way too many similarities between that and so many other Glock triggers out there... it just immediately shuts people down if they know better

best way is to upgrade your glock to a 1911 or any other firearm with a THUMB safety and NO trigger NON safety (read liability).
