Its the meaning behind the words in the quran that makes it powerful and “meaningful”. people who dont understand what its saying usually call it a “song” which it isnt. Proving that its the sound thats moving them, not the quran itself, because they dont understand it.
Back when Prophet Mohammad read the quran, the non-muslims at the time would always admire the words and would accuse him of being a poet which he wasnt. He would “ratil” or in other words “sing” the quran to intensify the meaning behind words.
My point is, its really awkward watching people react to something they dont even understand. It is also very misleading and is a major misconception when it comes to the miracle of the Quran. Look up what the word Quran means ;)
I really hate to be this blunt but i see this becoming a trend and I think it would be better if those people were provided with a translation to the Quran. Its not something that should be taken lightly.

brother we as muslims beleive in all the prophets and the messsages they brought equally(see the last 2 verses of surah bakarah 2:285-286)but throughout history the previou books have been changed . the bibles now are completely different from the bible of the past . now people are made to beleive on them though they are not what the prophets had brought . so this verse is about such people who beleive in them

Mike Corn evrybody has their own way of praying and there are different type way to recite it some are joyful and some are of worrying about how we spend our life how much we follow that verses and how much we do good deeds.. so normally trying to improve imaan and repenting to god about bad deed in the emotional way is relaxing for those who truely beleave god... hope u undstood what i wanna convey.. however u feel it like funeral.. well life must be lived in such a way that u r traveller in world and u have to be succesful her after ... the life hereafter as muslim beleave...

I've read the Qur'an and some chapters several times. It is a very difficult and odd read. It does not read like the bible and to me, it's clear that the two books do not have the same author. The theme of the Qur'an is convoluted in that it's hard to determine what it is. Conversely, the bible is clear. Adam and Eve sinned against God, God covered their bodies and immediately Genesis 3:15 spells out a plan of redemption. There is also a sacrificial system in the bible not present in the Qu'ran.

Sahih International, Pickthall, Yusuf Ali, Shakir, Muhammad Sarwar, Mohsin Khan & Arberry. It's clear to me that the bible and the Qur'an are not from the same author. They have different messages or themes.
Leviticus 17:11
"11 For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it to you on the altar to make atonement for your souls; for it is the blood by reason of the life that makes atonement.’"
God never lifted this requirement. Where is blood atonement in the Qur'an?

Leviticus 17:1-12
[1]Then the lord said to Moses,

[3]“If any native Israelite sacrifices a bull or a lamb or a goat anywhere inside or outside the camp
[4]instead of bringing it to the entrance of the Tabernacle to present it as an offering to the lord, that person will be as guilty as a murderer. Such a person has shed blood and will be cut off from the community.
[5]The purpose of this rule is to stop the Israelites from sacrificing animals in the open fields. It will ensure that they bring their sacrifices to the priest at the entrance of the Tabernacle, so he can present them to the lord as peace offerings.
[6]Then the priest will be able to splatter the blood against the lord’s altar at the entrance of the Tabernacle, and he will burn the fat as a pleasing aroma to the lord.

[8]“Give them this command as well. If any native Israelite or foreigner living among you offers a burnt offering or a sacrifice

However: "5:3 Forbidden to you (for food) are: Al-Maytatah (the dead animals - cattle-beast not slaughtered), blood, the flesh of swine, and the meat of that which has been slaughtered as a sacrifice for others than Allah, or has been slaughtered for idols, etc., or on which Allah's Name has not been mentioned while slaughtering, and that which has been killed by strangling, or by a violent blow, or by a headlong fall, or by the goring of horns - and that which has been (partly) eaten by a wild animal - unless you are able to slaughter it (before its death) - and that which is sacrificed (slaughtered) on An-Nusub (stone altars). (Forbidden) also is to use arrows seeking luck or decision, (all) that is Fisqun (disobedience of Allah and sin). This day, those who disbelieved have given up all hope of your religion, so fear them not, but fear Me. This day, I have perfected your religion for you, completed My Favour upon you, and have chosen for you Islam as your religion. But as for him who is forced by severe hunger, with no inclination to sin (such can eat these above-mentioned meats), then surely, Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful" The Noble Quran.

You stated, " Read Leviticus well and do not take it out of the context." I did not take Leviticus 17:11 out of context. Leviticus chapter 17 is about the Sanctity of Blood. Leviticus 17:11 is amplified by "its blood sustains its life." Blood carries life-sustaining elements to all parts of the body; therefore it represents the essence of life. In contrast, the shedding of blood represents the shedding of life, i.e. death.
Genesis 9:4
" 4 Only you shall not eat flesh with its life, that is, its blood."
New Testament references to the shedding of the blood of Jesus Christ are references to His death.
BLOOD THAT MAKES ATONEMENT - Since it contains the life, blood is sacred to God. Shed blood (death)from a substitute atones for or covers the sinner, who is then allowed to leave.

We are all circumcised even though Jesus fulfilled the law.
Please also understand something sir. Ishmael and his mother were kicked out of Abraham's house. Ishmael was blessed by God but was not included in the birthright of the eternal Abrahamic Covenant. By the way, there is no mention of the Abrahamic Gen. 12:1-3; Genesis 12:7; 13:14-17; 15:1-21; 17:1-21 and 22:15-18), Davidic (2 Samuel 7; 1 Chronicles 17:11-14; 2 Chronicles 6:16), or New Covenant i(Jeremiah 31:31-34) n the Qur'an.
So Muslims are trying to include themselves in the Abrahamic Covenant which is not for you. There are two people on this earth. JEW and GENTILE. If you are not a Jew, the Abrahamic promises are not for you. If you are not a Jew, God does not give His word, rules and statutes to you - Psalms 147:19-20.
